  2. Hello Everyone! Hope everything is going well!! 🙂 As mentioned in the title of this thread: If you could add your own trophy to the trophy list of any game, to make it a more enjoyable or challenging experience, what kind of trophy would that be? To make this more interesting, you can state any of the following: A name for the trophy Whether that trophy will be a bronze/silver/gold trophy? Add a small description/purpose of the trophy that you would like to add to the game Can you also predict it's rarity level? (i.e. Common, Rare, Very Rare, Ultra rare ...) I will start off with some trophies relating to Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (PS4) ! So, based on the suggested format: Saving the Universe! Gold Trophy Win the single-player adventure mode on the hardest difficulty, with 4 different characters (with limited power-ups per race) Very Rare Shopping Spree! Gold Trophy Purchase all supplementary characters and characters skins from the in-game rotary shop Ultra rare
  3. I kinda understand why. It took me about 10 hours of trial and error to get the basics of MahJong down. I think I used this guide to get the basics down, trying to go only for 'riichi' hand and slowly made my way through understanding the game. Now after about 50 hours of combined experience through several Yakuza games (and Judgment) it's much better. But you only need to learn it once to use it through the whole series as the game remains the same in every Yakuza game.
  4. A little more about MRNA-1273... Moderna is aiming for a price of $32-37 per dose, with it being expected to take 2 doses to fully immunize someone. Not too bad. Now the really good news? Their executives are confident that the vaccine will become available by the year's end. Hopefully that's the beginning of the end for this damn pandemic. Pray this works well.
  5. I don’t know if this is still an active thread, but Septomor has updated the script such that you can pick his or Qs script, both automatically recognize failure and restart, and resize the window for you. Very easy to use. I could not connect laptop or ps4 via cables because my router was several rooms away and I was using WiFi off a relay extender. I do have pretty good speed even off the extender ( > 30 MBps). I couldn’t get Qs to work past about 275. Sep’s got me to about 850 and then couldn’t break 650 after 20+ attempts. I quit out of remote play and changed the settings to lowest resolution and highest frame rate. After that Sep’s broke 1000 on its third attempt. Looked like it would go forever. I don’t know if that helps, but if you’re still stuck you might try again.
  6. My first backlog game of August is completed. This is one I should have finished a long time ago but just never got around to wrapping it up. Had to go through the game all over again though as I couldn’t figure out how I was making my choices back when I originally played this game. Which was a bit of a bummer seeing that I was on the last chapter during my first playthrough. Oh well, it was definitely better than Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain in my opinion. It had a much tighter story (and no motion controls!) Anyway, off to figure out what to do next... Detroit: Become Human (PS4) - Completed in 2 years, 2 months
  7. Hi Snizel Yes, that is correct as burning of the house and the going to the mask and rejecting it also leads to burning the house down. So below the list of my endings I have had: Burning the house down and be alone Saving Toby but being a part of the House (Family Throphy) Saving Toby and becoming the butterfly (Accepting the mask) Saving Toby and becoming a hostage/Prisoner Saving Toby and getting to Mask and rejecting it Killing Toby and getting to the Mask and rejecting it
  8. Writing a guide for this game is plain simple It's the specific trophies that are hard, but that doesn't make it hard to write the guide, as requirements are clear
  9. They actually did mention MUA2 DLCs delisting on the psn store the month it was being removed a long time ago, but yea it would be nice that companies or Sony would give a “last call” for whatever game or DLC, there’s only been a few times it’s even happen where there was a notice
  10. Glad that we have a JAP stack now for all the JAP people, but of course also nice for the none-JAP people, so they can stack their JAP trophies for their JAP games!
  11. Do any other guide writers here think this game in particular would be difficult to write a trophy guide for? As a guide writer, so many of these trophies are luck based to the point where I don't even know what advice to give. Nothing I can come up with seems consistent enough as a "method" for unlocking them. The ones that aren't are so simple, for example "equip x" where the trophy description is just enough and I can't improve or elaborate on it any further. Like I think I'd just end up writing an extended version of the trophy description and not provide anything meaningful at all. Whoever's attempting the guide, good luck and I hope you have better luck than me. I had a draft doc open but I don't think I'll continue it any further.
  12. You are completely correct and I did not read it but when straight to the Guide and that's why I played the game another 3 times again. 9 times in Total. but it is still not popping the ending trophy.

  14. I haven't played the original mass effect trilogy. However, i have heard great things about this trilogy, so i am really looking forward to this ! 🙂
  15. I started playing this tonight with my buddies and we had a blast. Sure some kinks need to be worked out but it is a beta. I do feel like games are one sided and that’s probably my biggest complaint. In 4 hours we only had 1 game for to 5 rounds. The majority were 3-0 / 3-1. But overall this felt good to play and I don’t regret the purchase. In regards to charging for a beta, I don’t feel that complaining about that is valid. In the end YOU chose to purchase it. I have memories of playing Blizzard games in the past and so many people would post about being willing to pay for beta access rather than the random lottery. (Overwatch was a forum disaster). Now a lot of devs are giving you this choice. In terms of them being finished, again, that’s your choice to spend the money. You don’t have to. To each their own. I personally haven’t seen many (If any) unfinished games being sold on PSN. You wanna look at Steam Early Access? Then yeah, that an unfinished epidemic.
  16. Spec Ops: The Line! Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity (PS2) or Daxter (PSP) ?

  18. Platinum #246: MLB 15 the Show (Vita)

Definitely not a platinum you guys are going to see anytime soon, let alone have somebody post it here on the forums. A platinum in a baseball game, an older one at that.

There is a story on how I got this game. I could not find this on the PS Store, so I ended up paying a copy from eBay. There is no actual physical version, as you get a voucher code you input on the Store. The code expired back in 2017 - 2018, so I was fairly certain it would not work. But it did, and I actually got this to download for my Vita.

If you guys have played Madden, FIFA, NBA 2K and other sport game franchises, MLB the Show is the same sort of deal. Most of the trophies consist of doing certain achievements, like doing a double steal in a game, making three double plays in one game, and getting 7 RBIs with one player. For Madden there would be something like rushing 200 - 300 yards in one game so in baseball getting a bunch of doubles (reaching second base off a base hit) is to be expected.

Unfortunately like with Madden NFL 11, I had to adjust sliders to have a chance at a number of trophies. Two of them (Sorry Kid and Nope) are entirely down to luck, you can get them very early or you could easily spend 10 - 15 hours trying to earn them. I got a big break in one game as not only was I able to get Sorry Kid (catch a foul ball out of the field of play) but also get 7 RBIs with one player and use the Cut Off Feature. Three trophies in one game, not a bad deal.

Not much I can say. It's baseball, I'm sure we've all heard about it even if you don't like the sport. Due to a pandemic, I may go ahead and play MLB 18 the Show, as that is another baseball game that has been sitting on my backlog.

Trophy list isn't difficult, but is pretty much highly dependent on luck. One of the big reasons why a lot of sports titles have crappy trophy lists.

    1. Copanele

      Congrats for the plat!

If it's anything like FIFA as you said (pretty much the only sports game that I know the rules for) it really is a difficult one to pull.

    2. Spaz

I got this version because it has no online. The PS4 version which is a higher quality game had it's online shut a few years ago, so the platinum is impossible to obtain now.

  19. I was looking for Ultimate Alliance 2 dlc and some other game DLC's. Edit: Plus it doesn't matter what I'm looking for. I just wish there was some way to get this idea to Sony and not be waved off.
  20. I was wondering the same thing. He's asking for a warning from the PS Store, but wont mention a single game or DLC he was looking for that was supposedly delisted.
  21. LMAO I didn't even realize I wrote Need for Speed. Yeah, my bad. I was thinking of my favorite racing games and I was remembering Need for Speed Underground 1&2. But that was for the PS2 and I just picked the next favorite one which was Burnout.
  22. Which games are we talking about here? PS3 games that are old as f, or more recent games like 2-3 years old?
  23. Going to choose 3 games. the Nathan drake collection you got most of the trophies already. crushing shouldn't be hard for you judging my your trophy list, damn impressive
  24. Really been slacking with my thread these past few months.... might as well play some catch up. Platinum #230: Horizon Zero Chase (April 15th, 2020) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement Rating: 7/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 12 -15 Hours Hardest Trophy: Look Mom, No Hands! ( Finish Endurance 109 with gold ) Played this gem of a game a few months ago. On rails racers are pretty much a thing of the past. F Zero was a game on the Super Nintendo that I played in my early youth, but I was never very good at it so I didn't progress much. SEGA also made an on rails racing game that I believe you can play in Yakuza 0. I give credit for the developers for making a game that takes from a dead genre. The graphics are modern era but give off a sort of look that suggests a bit of nostalgia. Gameplay isn't too difficult as you can make comebacks and you're basically always on the race track. Trophy list is alright.... but the trophy for doing 109 Endurance Races is a bunch of shit. You basically have to do all 109 races in succession, you cannot quit back to the main menu nor reach below 4th place at the end of a race as that will send you back to the beginning. Doing all the races will take a number of hours, so I basically relied on USB/Cloud saving whenever I fell under fourth place. Not that hard of a game, and a bit enjoyable. Platinum #231: Atari Flashback Classics Volume 1 (April 15th, 2020) Difficulty: 7/10 (with USB exploit) Excitement Rating: 5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 10 - 12 Hours Hardest Trophy: Digging Deep ( Finish Level 81 or above in arcade Tempest without losing a life in the level ) A collection of old Atari games with a rather infuriating trophy list. In recent times there seems to be a resurgence of old video games ported over to modern systems with trophy/achievement support. Atari Flashback Classics Volume 1 is only part of a collection, as there are two other volumes that follow. Compared to Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics and Midway Arcade Origins, Atari Flashback Classics Volume 1 is a difficult and infuriating platinum to go for. You got your arcade games and console games to play just like the other collections I mentioned, but the trophy requirements here are a big step above what they offered. Given how old these games are, and the fact that these Atari titles were before my time, I really struggled getting some of these trophies. Ones like Space Jockey, For All Insectkind!, We Don't Need No Fortification and Digging Deep are no small task, as there is not only a good amount of skill required but also a fair amount of luck. The arcade game Warlords required a great deal of concentration and luck, as the AI is incredibly unpredictable. The games Yars Revenge and Tempest are absolutely brutal at later levels. There is so much crap going on in level 81 in Tempest I had to use USB/Cloud saving at least a few dozen times before I was finally able to beat it. Due to my troubles, I don't know if I will ever get Atari Flashback Classics Volume 2. That is even more difficult and infuriating. Many Atari games have aged very poorly, and the controls were absolutely terrible mostly because you just had a control stick and one button. Nintendo starting with the NES was when video games really started in my opinion. Anything before that is too archaic for me, as I find a number of games not fun at all and just frustrating to even beat a level or two. With a lot of dedication and perseverance, this platinum trophy is doable. Don't expect it to be easy. Without saving exploits, I probably would of given up on the platinum.
  25. Doom 3 (PS4) Killing time Score 25000 on Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3 in DOOM 3 or RoE Unarmed Badass Kill 20 enemies with the fists/melee hands in DOOM 3 That was Close! Kill an enemy with 1 health remaining in DOOM 3, RoE, or Lost Mission After you get Killing time, be sure to read the email you get about it on the PDA. I wasn't actually trying for That was Close! but got lucky with that. Double the Fun doesn't sound like it'll be easy- killing 2 imps with one shotgun blast. You almost have to be in melee range for the SG round to be a 1HKO. Doom 3 may not be the typical action-heavy Doom (like 1, 2, 2016, and Eternal), but it's still quite good. One change I like over the original is that your flashlight is mounted and can be used while you carry a gun.
  26. I’ve definitely noticed the lag when there’s a massive amount of players on the screen. I think I’ve got accustomed to the lag, so I barely notice it, personally.
