  1. Dragon Age: Inquisition.

So I just started the game last night, selected the nightmare difficulty setting and got my ass kick 3 times by Boss at the end of the tutorial. it looks like I'll actually need to think and pay attention to the game... well that's good, I'm kinda rusty thou 😶

One-handed weapon + shield human, that's my default choice whenever IDk how magic works in a Videogame, I wanted something like the Strider class of Dragon's Dogma (daggers + bow) but I didn't find any suitable in DA:I, or maybe there is since once I started the game and check the skill tree it seems like you could make hybrid classes or something like it.:jaymon:

I've beat game on hardest difficulty 2 times and reached more than 200 hours on it. Never played on hard or normal, just nightmare. My advice is use tactical camera, don't rush main quest, save on new slots a lot and take time to experiment with skills and equipment. Once you build team with every member supporting each other skills set, you will breeze through single-player. Game is really great tho, I have 100% on PS3 and playing now on PS4. Currently I playing first dragon age and it's great too, especially dialogs :)

      IntroPhenom

Not to point out the obvious, but many videos can be found that tell how to build an essentially unkillable character.  I've watched a few, and they seem fun and worthwhile.

  2. PSVita Question: Do anyone knows why are the Vita games so expensive on Amazon? I live in South America and figures it'll be cheaper to buy a few on Amazon US and pay import taxes but OMG, I'm looking for Persona 4 Golden and all the prices I see are about 45-55$ even for second-handed games. I bought a second-hand Vita (perfect state just like new) a few months back for 70$ and it came with 6 games; two of those are Uncharted Golden Abyss and Assassins Creed 3: Liberation, and I see both games in like 35$ and more :jaymon:

I found a copy of P4G at 30$ and thought it was expensive... may as well pick it up 😶

Also, I decline about buying Vita games on Amazon but PS4 games, I found a "brand new" copy of Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition at 20$ while I asked yesterday in some local stores and they asked 30$ for a second-handed copy of the standard edition of the game :jaymon:.... Honestly Idk where I'm living anymore 😶

Actually I bought Persona Golden on Amazon in 2017 for 20$ newdon't know what happen couple of years ago because now is impossible buy Persona Golden with a decent price. in EU is the same story but we are talking about a second hand game with a price between 35-50€. Maybe is like Arctic said, no more production of vita game and now is expensive buy vita games with a great price. In Japan the story is the same, very expensive vita games (most of them visual novels)

      Uchiha_Snake__

Thanks for the info everyone! I guess 70$ for a vita and 6 games was a good deal then, may as well buy the games on the PS Store since it's cheaper, I will try expanding the storage using SD2Vita, (once I buy it).

    4. AlchemistWer

      AlchemistWer

70$ for a vita + 6 games was defenetly a good deal, and of course you can buy awesome games on vita like Persona 4 or even some Neptune games (and of course Atelier games) digital, actually I think the last month P4 was on sales for 10$ or something like that. I only know a website that sell second-hand vita/ps4 games but only in japanese /:

  3. #87 God Of War (2018): 10/10

Masterpiece; spectacular graphics, a really interesting plot and an enjoyable (and finally challenging) gameplay. A total must-play for anyone with a PS4. One of the best games on the console for sure :yay:

@Uchiha_Snake__ I want to clear some games already on my list first but I also want it to be a big milestone plat. The Last of Us will be my 60th so GoW will be 70th. Just the way it's gotta be! Of course, I do plan on actually playing the game way before then!

  4. Uncharted Golden Abyss is this game broken or what? I already charged my vita two times today just trying to farm the last 3 gemstones I need for  :platinum: Seriously I already spend a bunch of hours and still not getting any of the 3 gems, the other bounties weren´t easy but man this one is just frustrating me big time, I wanted this plat to be my last trophy of the year but is getting kinda hard... I'll try again later when my vita is fully charged, it's still 19:35 here so maybe there's still a chance :hmm:

Suerte con el juego, colega. Ni idea con respecto a glitches y bugs en el juego. Tengo ese título digital en el Vita y todavía no lo he jugado hasta el sol de hoy.

  6. #84 Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition. Rate: 8.5/10

I couldn't plat the PS3 version due to that stupid online trophy 😒 and I really enjoyed the game so I waited for a long time until I finally got to plat the PS4 version. The game is really good. and the best imo is the gameplay. if you like games such as the God Of War series and the Devil May Cry series I really recommend this to you.

The game has a TLOZ vibe where you will be exploring dungeons and acquiring new skills that you can use to backtrack and find optional areas and side quests.

Even though some dungeons became long and exhausting, the game gets funnier and addictive the higher level you are and the more skills you unlock, there are many combinations and builds you can try while mixing skills and gear 😁.

So anyways... play it if you like Hack'n Slash, exploration and some puzzles along the way:yay:

  7. What's worse than add more games to your 500+ hours backlog? Buying a new console 🙃 I'm expecting delivery early tomorrow with a second-handed PS Vita and some games along with a few I already have on my PSN account... it's safe to say I'm quite excited about it :eyebrow:

  8. Been awfully full of work for about a month, but somehow I managed to :platinum: Anarchy Reigns. The game is good and very enjoyable as expected from something developed by Platinum Games, the story is kinda cliché but overall good enough, what truly shines here is the gameplay.

The combination of Beat'em up and Hack'n Slash is delightful, the controls are really simple and basically the same for each character butat the same time they look awesome. The unique moves of each character are both gore and dramatic, also the graphics look great for an older PS3 game.

if you like any kind of game from Platinum, you will surely enjoy this. :yay:

  9. Lately, I've been adding more games to my backlog that I can complete, also I've been working extra hours and weekends due to an important real-life work project that must be rushed by the end of the month. I finally started Fallout 4 yesterday, I hope I enjoy it enough that I get the mood to complete more of my games... Yeah that's how my mood work if I'm enjoying a game I might as well take the opportunity to clean some others😁

I've been holding back from buying more games until I finish those I'm currently working on, and expecting and extra income from my current real-life work project will make things harder, hopefully, Fallout 4 will be good enough to keep me in line lol 😂

  10. #82 Tomb Raider: Underworld. Rate: 2/10

Either if you like Tomb Raider series or not, just don't play this crap. The only good things about it were the auto-save because it saves a LOT and you will need that due to the number of bugs and glitches. The second thing is Lara herself of course.

Bugs/glitches, there a lot of them, invisible wall who stop you or block your way all of a sudden (pretty annoying stuff for a platform game), bugs that stop you from completing the level, I had to restart the whole game because of that. bugs, when you jump and land in a different platform, even jumping from point A to point B, is a challenge here since the controls were outdated by the time the game was released it. Funny thing is, the only bug I didn't encounter was the one related to treasures (which is the one most people is afraid of).

Anyways, play this only if you can handle a crappy game and if you are compromised with getting the platinum or better don't... Just don't.

      TugaSonic

Congrats. I was lucky when I played the game since besides a bug that forced me to restart the game from scratch since loading from my save file would put Lara stuck on the boat at the start of the first level (so didn't lose progress due to it). It's actually a shame about the bugs/glitches, might not be the best Tomb Raider but it is good.

Beautiful open-world game, awesome and challenging gameplay, delightful storytelling and a plot with so many twists that will keep you hooked for dozens of hours. I would love to write more about it but I don't want to spoil anything and ruin the experience for all of those who haven't played the game yet. #MustPlay.

    1. Honor_Hand

      Honor_Hand

Don't remember any major glitch when playing this one. 😅 What happened?

I think you only needed to be careful when picking up the treasures, don't you? :hmm:

    2. Uchiha_Snake__

      Uchiha_Snake__

@Honor_Hand Yeah I was paying attention with the treasures but it seems that if you don't follow certain path in the south Mexico jungle you will trigger a bug where the first  wooden ramp in the Midgard serpent will be down, making it impossible to go further🙄

    3. Honor_Hand

      Honor_Hand

The game can be a bit glitchy. I now remembered I had an issue getting the treasures on the final stage. Basically, I remember I had to activate some runes in order for a waterfall to clear and be able to pick one of the last treasures. Turns out, I had to restart the whole chapter because the waterfall was not opening after activating all the runes. Hopefully, you can solve your glitch out but yeah, they can be annoying at times. >.<

  13. [Question]: Yesterday I went to pick up my brand new copy of Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, and after redeemed the code for the PS4 Theme and the Digital Art Book (as says on the voucher) I shocked myself when I saw I just received a digital version of the game itself (the complete edition as well). :jaymon:

Is this normal? can anybody relate to this? Don't get me wrong is a great deal but I kinda confused 😅

    1. DamagingRob

      DamagingRob

Well, I bought that version, and didn't get a free digital copy. I would assume it's not normal. But I remember when I redeemed Unit 13's Online Pass, I got a free digital copy of that.

  14. I've been playing a lot of Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia on my cellphone, so far I love the game since you can play with almost anyone of FF characters across the series, even bad guys like Seymour (FFX) and Kefka (FFVI). The game also have a little biography of each character so you can get to know them in case you haven't played the game where he/she appears. I really recommend this to anyone FF fans around here :yay:

@Honor_Hand Nightmare difficult is a pain in the ass, I remember that from playing it on ps3 but it seens even harder now. It reminds to the first devil may cry but with no buttons to aim the enemies (you must rotate the camera and aim by yourself)

@Honor_Hand there are also many platformer sections when you see the devs really try too hard 😠

  17. #79 Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. Rate: 8/10

This is probably one of the most interesting plots in any FF game. Also, the missions make you feel like you are actually in a war. I really enjoyed the main quests and some side ones as well along with the story but the farming in this game was really boring for me, also, even thou I like the characters and the battle system, the grinding in the outer world didn't feel the same for me, idk, it's just not as good as other main games of the franchise (FFVII, FFX, FFXII). I believe that was the reason why the "Secret Training" feature was implemented but it may just be me.

There are some king of books that you can fill with entries about the characters and events, you will need to complete most of them if you want to understand the whole lore of this thing, I finished the game last night and got really confused with the last scenes, especially after watching a post-game cinematic I found on one of those books...

I like the game, but I honestly was in the mood for some turn-based JRPG so maybe that's why I didn't like some of the features of the game, for me it stills feels like a videogame made for a portable system, you can tell by the way they structure the whole gameplay and quests. Anyways, the gameplay was fun to play, might as well try it someday in the future when I feel like playing more of an action game than a strategy game.

  18. #78 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. 10/10:

Outstanding, for real, once I update the game I have one hell of experience playing the game. I struggle the first hours since I was new to the franchise and I decided to play on death march difficult. I found myself without food to heal myself so I couldn't complete any missions.  Those were the times lol, without noticing I learned how to fight the different kind of monsters, their weaknesses, when do I have to roll and when do I have to parry, etc.

It was a joyful experience to become a "pro" by actually practicing and sharping my skills rather than just over-leveling the foes. In the end, I complete a level 35 witcher contract while I was level 25 and didn't have any troubles.

Now I only need to buy the expansions and also play the first two games since I really like the plot and want to know more. This is one of the games I have on my "must play list" (the reason why I bought the PS4 actually) and it's totally worth it, I would absolutely play it again at some point on NG+.

So, to briefs things up: awesome gameplay that rewards you for practicing and learning the enemies moves and weaknesses, beautiful landscapes you will admire for hours, interesting missions (not just that crap about being some sort of messenger like in other RPGs), choices that actually matters in the game, and if that's not enough you have GWENT which is probably the best minigame ever created within a videogame 😁

@Copanele I found a way to sort this out without updating the game, just decline to help Triss after she tells you about the Mages couple, she will be sorry and ask you to meet her somewhere (don't remember the name of the place) if you change your mind. Then you can go complete the quest.

  21. #77 Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. 9/10

Finally decided to plat this since I get some new PS4 games. The game is great, I didnt have the chance to play the first part (but I will once the remaster is out for sale) and a lot of people say the it's better. But even if that's true this game is a must play for the JRPG fans, it really have much to offer: a very good story that will keep you hooked for hours and an open world ready for you to explore it by land, sea and even the skies. There's even management in this game, you will need to raise a kingdom from scratch, make buildings, recruit people, train your military forces to protect it and more.

I'm making this post from my tablet (which is quite annoying) so I'll finish it by giving a #Recommended to this awesome game😄😄

  22. #76 Deponia 8/10: I deserve one of these "not 100+ hours grinding :platinum:" once in a while okay? The game is really funny, I wasn't expecting such a well-made script, it also shines while playing the game in Spanish (great dub). Even though the game is not very long, it demands you to think a lot about how to solve the puzzles and situations you will face. it is also very enjoyable when playing with someone else, it's a single player game but two (or three or more) heads think better than one, I would say is a good game for couples xD unless one of you doesn't like the puzzles .

  23. Late update but here we go.

#75 Dark Souls 9/10:  Long story short, I rushed NG++ to Anor Londo because the only weapons I needed for the "Knight's Honor" trophy were The Great Lord Sword and Artori's Great-Shield. Once I got the weapons I find out I was also missing the Channelers Trident... So I had to defeat O&S again... Thankfully this time only took 4 attempts.

I have a lot of friends asking me to play this game since like... years😨. I really enjoyed the game and the sense of self-accomplishment when succeeding in a difficult task. The lore was also very captivating, There were just a few moments where I thought the game was a little unfair, but it may be because of the way I was facing the problem. I will eventually play the other games in the series but I can't say when, maybe next week, maybe when the PS5 is out for sale, who knows.

  24. [Dark Souls]:  Last night I managed to defeat the Four Kings and join the Darkwraith covenant, as expected once I learn the animations of their attacks the battle became more easy, using "Power Within" was a good choice since I could easily defeat one of the 4K and have like 10 or 15 segs before the other appears.:yay:

      Honor_Hand

Heehee, that's the pyromancy that boosts your attack power, right? Same thing I used to defeat them on NG+ xD It comes really helpful in dispatching them out quickly because once there are two of them at the same time, the fight gets much harder. Anyways, good work back there my friend. 👍

  25. [Dark Souls]: Last night I finally beat O&S in NG+, I also managed to get Ornstein soul (which I need for a weapon) and probably the best part is that I beat them without cheesy strategies, no pillars just a 1 VS 2 direct fight :D
