  1. By miles away, my best match in SOULCALIBURVI online mode.

Apoc_Revolution6, you are such an inspiration.

  2. The greatest comeback video you will ever see in fighting games.

Done at A1 level in ranked matches. Game: SOULCALIBUR VI.

One round is possible, but I needed to comeback all three rounds against a top level player. Much respect HyozanRegis.

moment 37 single handedly got me into watching fighting game tourneys. <3 Diago

       Explain this? Hahahaha

    4. er_campanario

Oh, that. There are more. I can explain without any problem. When you get to that level, the matches are so intense that even the slightest mistake can cost you a game. Now let's say you have a defeat streak and the salt is slowly accumulating. When your patience ends and you explode a rage quit can happen. That is the highest level of competition, an ungrateful one in which any "bad action" can be used against you to "expose" you.

Why I say "bad action"? What the developers need to do is to take that into account and give the winner their win after a rage quit, just like Mortal Kombat and Injustice do. That way, the "rage quitter" can throw away the salt and the winner can get the win and the quit will no longer be a bad action.

On shooters that happens every single time in every match and if everyone leaves you get your win, so fighting games should do the same.

  3. I made a tribute to my favorite fighting game character of all time. Raphael Sorel.

I have gotten the maximum rank in online ranked matches (Edge Master). Best game PS4 had to offer.

After that, what is the best way to tribute my favorite character?. Let's fight against the legendary Soul Calibur player Apoc_Revolution6 (#1 Raphael in ranked matches) using Amy (ranked up to Edge Master as well) and against LS210x (#1 Amy in ranked matches).

The perfect frame sidestep against Apoc in the first round (Raphael saying "Quicker") and the Critical Edge bait against LS in the last round were my galaxy brain plays in each respective match.

I am going to miss you Raphael...

That Amy costume from 1:40 looks like Gracia.

  4. Sink in darkness...

  5. 8-bits unreal music. From outer space.

  6. Listening to this OST reminds me everything about Tallon IV, and when I got every single thing that Metroid Prime had to offer without using any guides. No other Gamecube tittle was as exceptional as Metroid Prime.

I didn't get 100% scan, but the Prime games got amazing level design. Could not put them down after starting the Trilogy (Wii version). Got the Fusion suit, though.

  7. Attacking Zegeta 2. The game in which you activate god-mode and you cannot even complete the first level. Hahahaha.

  8. All the players that claim themselves to be Soulsborne fans due to it's "difficulty", should play Attacking Zegeta 2.

Now, THAT is a hardcore one, that is a REAL Dark Souls in concept itself. You will feel completely lost, without any hint, without any help, you will also REALLY feel that the game is trolling you and you will face such a level of difficulty that will make you think if all the games you have played before were completely assisted, as you either can beat them by repeating the parts or by trial and error. Can you do that with random enemies spawns every time you play that kill you in one hit?

Dark Souls fails in all of that. Attacking Zegeta 2 is your game.

  9. Star Wars Bounty Hunter 100%. A blast from the past... magical. Some of the stages still were on my mind from the Nintendo Gamecube version...

  10. Star Wars Bounty Hunter memories are deep. Playing it again feels magical.

I lost so much interest in trophy hunting, considering all the VN's, Ratalaika games and such 10 minutes - 1 hour platinums plus boring and very easy lists in long games. Only Capcom is trying to keep the old spirit.

I know, just respect everyone and their form to play, but having accounts with 60+ trophy levels and the 60% - 80% are these type of games is kinda... senseless.

  11. If you own Marvel vs Capcom Infinite and you want to give Dante a try to clear his combo challenges, take a look on my practical solution of his mission 10 here:

  12. Best song ever in a fighting game.

KOF 14 beside of having some graphics issues, has a lot of good OSTs, special reference for this one :

    2. PooPooBlast

Ground funk zero from Tekken 5 says hello :)

  13. Resident Evil 4 never gets old... I have completed it around 50 times. I have all these RE4 versions:

    - Gamecube version.

    - PS2 version.

    - Wii version.

    - PS4 version.

    - PS3 version.

RE4 is not old enough, I don't see any reason to make an remake to game that not aged at all

    3. SinisterPledge

Yeah I figured it's still a bit too "new" compared to the earlier games.

    4. MikeCheck--

Funny @SinisterPledge I  was thinking the same thing! Would love a complete rebuild of it

  14. Good ranked matches. I love the 5 minutes and 30 seconds combo in the vid and my iPrep combos as well.

  15. So many... memories...

  16. Like an army... falling... one by one, by one...

  17. Two of my favorite soundtracks.

  18. Mem boshka de Shmi Skywalker...

  19. What an accomplishment. This player not only clears the Hoenn Battle Frontier getting all gold symbols, which is undeniably the biggest challenge in the Pokemon series, but he does it on a speedrun and takes the World Record playing almost 18 hours straight. I still remember myself playing the Pokemon Emerald end-game.

  20. It has been done. # SOULCALIBURVI online ranked competitive mode. Number 1 Spanish player with Raphael. Number 22 in the world. It was something I needed to do, I have been maining him since SC II . I spent around 50-100 hours defining my fighting style due to how hard is to win with him. It is a character with a 90% of the moveset based on vertical hits in a 3D fighting game, he does the least damaging combos of all cast and can be countered while entering on Preparation stance, but winning with him feels so fair. No other character can be compared with the Master of the Rapier in style. Dante, Nero, Vergil, Raiden, Bayonetta etc are all begineers.

  21. Master of the Rapier. Climbing to B rank on Ranked with him on Soul Calibur 6. If he just dealt more damage on combos and the timing on them wasn't a madness I would annihilate with him. TOP 50 in the world for now.

  22. No character is more stylish than Raphael Sorel from SOULCALIBUR series.

Raphael Sorel on SOULCALIBUR VI is more than great.

Dante, Nero, Vergil, Raiden, Bayonetta etc are begineers or like Raphael would say: Pathetic.

    1. Terra

Raphael was one of the first characters I played as when I started the series (Soul Calibur II was my first). I used his style consistently in Soul Calibur V and IV. When I get to VI it will probably be the same way.

  23. Collector edition in 3, 2, 1...

  24. Yesterday I talked about my B5 rank quest in Soul Calibur VI ranked matches, but I forgot to add this masterpiece track. Memories.

  25. What really means to be a gamer... I found an answer almost 2 weeks ago.

October 19, 2018. Soul Calibur VI was released. My all time favorite fighting game. No hard games to platinum would have given the answer to me as you are playing with AI and constant adaptation is not required.

With a lot of effort, I climbed out the ranks to get my ultimate goal. B5 rank on Soul Calibur VI ranked matches. #31 on the character leaderboard, #30 on the European leaderboard and #1 Spanish Nightmare, an objective that took exactly 6 months to complete. Gaining points by winning and losing them by being defeated, trying to learn and applicate in online matches a safe and an effective playstyle, as well as adaptating myself to my opponents and trying to find general patterns due to every match is different than the others.

Thank you so much Project Soul, for bringing Soul Calibur VI in the best possible way.

You remind me when I used to play World of Warcraft and Runescape.
