  1. Yeah, this is the only bug I've had my entire playthrough, and I've been putting off making too much progress until it's fixed. Very glad it's almost here. (Also very fortunate that I noticed the quest had fallen under Botched soon enough to load a save from just before speaking to Parvati)
  2. So I'm aware that there are some trophies related to different choices you make in the story. But, as I want to avoid reading any specifics, can anyone provide a spoiler-free guide of when to make extra saves for those divergent paths (so whichever choice I end up deciding to make, I can still go back and get the trophy for the other)? Thank you.
  3. Ah, I see. Thanks. (One less thing to worry about, then)
  4. November 5, aye.
  5. Very weird how the trophy list has been up for like a week now, but based on Google, there are otherwise no mentions or discussions of this port's existence. And nothing I can find from the developers even alluding to this. Wonder if they're planning to Beyonce this around Halloween. Sure hope so.
  6. Panic! at the Disco is coming to Beat Saber next week! Very excited. So far the only confirmed track is their song from The Greatest Showman. Which songs are you hoping will make the cut? In a perfect world, we'd get the entirety of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, but alas. Outside of the obvious ones which are practically guaranteed to appear (I Write Sins..., High Hopes), I'd love to see There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey You Just Haven't Thought Of It Yet, Build God Then We'll Talk, and Let's Kill Tonight. I feel like they'd be pretty fun to play.
  7. Wow, this turned out to be a massive disappointment. Only 4 songs. Would've been fine with them only having the newer songs (disappointed, still, but fine) if they at least delivered the amount we've come to expect, but this is quite a letdown.
  8. "Guys, we still need to come up with one last bronze trophy for the game! What should it be?" "Uh... shit... I dunno... just stand around or something I guess." Looking forward to this. The trailer looked awesome.
  9. I bought the DLC, but when I go to change costumes, they all still say "purchase needed". Is there something else I'm supposed to do to unlock them?
  10. So it seems it's even weirder than not getting the trophy. I compared my fervor bar to that at the end of the guide, and mine is significantly lower than what the maximum should be. (And I've gone back and double checked every location) Major bummer.
  11. Going through the guides to wrap up all the upgrades and collectibles, and, while checking through the video to see which fervor upgrade I must be missing... I find I am not missing any. I got all 6, but no trophy. What's the deal.
  12. Is it just me, or does the golden chest seem to be not as good in this game? Like half the time I've opened it, it's been all shields, and almost everything I've gotten from it has been worse than what I already had before, even when it's a higher level of the same thing. In B2, it seemed almost guaranteed that whatever I got would be the best available for the current level; not so here.
  13. I'd actually (somehow) never heard Imagine Dragons before buying the music pack, but I've enjoyed playing the songs. Definitely makes me wish they could add a lot more licensed music that people have heard of; it's not an issue anyone on PC has to deal with, but for PSVR, I feel it's the one thing holding the game back (and alas, PSVR is all I have). Wish they could get whatever arrangement it is that's allowed Harmonix to get billions of songs from a wide berth of artists. (I assume Harmonix just has a lot more money, I don't know how things work)
  14. I don't know if they're making a second PSVR, but Sony has confirmed that the current one will work with PS5. I'd be fine if games looked better on PSVR2, if they're making that, but hopefully none of the games will be exclusive to that, so those of us who already have it don't need to shell out even more.
  15. This might be silly, but how exactly do you eat the candy? I tried putting it up to my mouth, but it didn't do anything. It's the Fazbar from the end-of-level giftbox, yeah?
  16. Haven't played this yet, but I've watched a couple videos, and I was curious if there would be any consequences to just peaking way outside the door (like maybe Bonnie being able to grab you early or something). So, would've ended up trying this on my own regardless. Extremely grateful to know in advance what happens; would've lost my shit otherwise probably, lol. Thanks.
  17. Man, I'm at my wit's end. I'm combed through this thread, checking every place that people have missed, and still nada. Says I'm at 99.53%, yet I can find no stone left unturned. I got all the small islands that were missable (at least the ones that have been mentioned in here). Got the valley of two kings, the valley of artemis. What could it even be. edit: lol, it was the swamp of thermes at the top of the map. blended in with the out of bounds area, so i overlooked it. feel so silly.
  18. For the last 2 phases, I used the "run like a coward, bait him into using the leaping overhead strike, dodge, attack, run, repeat" strategy. Had to actually beat the Demon of Hatred by getting good, though; didn't find out about the suicide cheese until afterward. (Looking forward to revenge in NG+ though)
  19. It doesn't kill them. Only reduces Unseen Aid, and prevents really being able to talk to them, since they're always coughing and wheezing. (I've read that this can cut off certain questlines and gains associated with them; can't confirm this firsthand, but dragonrot is reversible anyway, so it's no great worry)
  20. I feel like FromSoft already had a perfect consequence in Dark Souls - if you die, you lose your souls, but if you're good enough, you can still get them back, but if you die again before reaching it, it's gone. Not totally consequence-free, but still fair and related to skill. This is literally just RNG. Sure, if you don't die too much the RNG is marginally better, but it's still random. You could do amazing for a long time, die, and then take that hit against what you earned. Or, you could do terribly and die right away, but the die rolls in your favor anyway and it won't matter. Unlike Souls, skill isn't really the final determining factor in whether you get back what you lost. Dying a lot is an inevitable and natural part of FS games, and I feel like the Soulsborne games did a good job taking that into account, not handing you an easy win, but not being unnecessarily punishing either. I get it's a new IP, so they probably wanted to experiment with a new method of failstate consequences, but here's hoping they don't carry this particular formula forward to future games.
  21. $20 on PSN now as well. Time to dive in, then.
  22. I like some fighting games, but I find a lot of them tend to have a higher skill floor than I might prefer. How does this compare? Just lookin' for a fun ol' time.
  23. They both got onion'd, really.
  24. My understanding is that time is the only thing that really affects ranking.
  25. Last I heard, I think it's supposed to be coming some time around the end of January.
