  1. As far as I know you should be able to access the download from your purchase history in the store
  2. If you are using Photoshop you can use the slice tool to make it a little easier to split the image into different parts. The slice tool is in the right click menu on the crop tool (shortcut c). There are two ways you can use the slice tool. The easiest is to draw a rectangle around your trophy card (after you've done all your bg graphics) and photoshop will automatically split the canvas into different sections for you. This is handy but it's not the most intuitive as it sometimes creates more sections than necessary. Using the slice tool the other way is very similar to cropping the image only you can see the boundaries of each section clearly before you save it. The slice tool also lets you save each section as an individual image if you use the "Save for web and devices" option in the File menu instead of the normal save function. When you save it this way it will create a folder in the place you want with each of the images named "mynewsig_01.png" "mynewsig_02.png"

  7. Nik isn't a standalone program, it's a plugin for Photoshop (and others). Looking at what is available it seems that it is largely based on actual photography editing but there are two I see that could be put to decent use for somebody wanting to test it out. Silver Efex Pro is for adding a b/w filter and looks like it could be an alternative to the b/w effect layer (I'm out of practice, can't quite remember the name) or a b/w gradient layer. This could give your b/w images a bit of an edge especially when working with larger images. The main Nik plugin that piqued my interest is Viveza. It looks like a great way to work with the colours of an image. The before and after images show a massive difference. Definitely something to consider a test run of. As Demon said though, these plugins aren't essential if you know your way around Photoshop. It's very possible to do everything these plugins do with a vanilla version of photoshop but getting a Nik plugin will make it a whole lot easier.

Seriously though what's up? RWC for the next few weeks, that's going to be amazing! ... if only rights wasn't given to an absolutely shite broadcaster who decided to go to ads for the cibi and came back half way through with some channel music playing over it :/

Yes RWC!!!! So excited, especially for a NZ v Ireland possible Quarter-final. I'm very well thank you my good friend, my life is extremely busy now so don't have much time for the internet and playstation now haha.

  11. "I just want to get something new as I've had the same sig for upwards of 4 years now. " There was a damn good reason for that too!

I still have your wondrous signature saved in my vault - it'll be there forever. How's things anyway, man?

  12. I feared that Michael Jackson was going to creep in my window and abduct me. I have zero clue why that thought even entered my head as a child but I couldn't look out a window after dark in case I saw MJ looking back at me.
  13. I got roped into a league at work so I'll throw my team into this as well, don't want it going to waste and all that jazz. Although I doubt this one has a 240€ prize at the end
  14. These are two vastly different games and difficult to compare. If you want to look into which is better there's going to be a lot of bias. For some Witcher 3 players, this is their first venture into the series, they're no history with the game world and the characters and this will play into which they believe is better. Meanwhile veterans of the series will have a much better connection with it and will enjoy more how choices they've made in the past games affect their current game. With Skyrim being more of a standalone game (by that I mean that there's no history with characters and such) it's much easier for new players to get fully into it as you're not playing catch-up. Personally I prefer Skyrim. I thoroughly enjoy the worlds that Bethesda create in each of their previous games (Fallout 3, Oblivion, Morrowind) and I find them all incredibly easy to get into. The Witcher can be daunting given the scale of it. Sometimes I'm wary of what choices I'm making because I want the best ending even though I know that I should just jump into it and if I get a bad ending that's just reason to play NG+. The steep learning curve for combat can also turn many people off within the first few hours and that will skew poll results.
