  1. How many consoles do you currently have (including handhelds)? 1. PS4 I'm guessing PC doesn't count. I've owned a lot of consoles in my day, but I generally didn't hang on to any of the older ones, and I've recently transitioned back to PC... so the PS3 and all PS3 and PS4 games were sold off. The remaining PS4 is basically just being used for exclusive titles and as a blu ray player going forward, and maybe the occasional multiplatform game that's fun to play when friends are over (Borderlands, GTA, etc). How many consoles do you have hooked up to your TV right now? 1. PS4 How many consoles have you broken/died on you? None, the old consoles lasted forever... and I usually wind up finishing up with the newer ones before they break on me. Plus I've been fairly lucky.
  2. *clap* *clap* *clap* You meddling kids have figured out Sly and PSNProfiles diabolical plan to slightly rename certain games and... obviously... one day take over the world. The weeks and months of scheming and meticulous planning. They almost got away with it too... but that DAMN Sora9669 just had to poke his unabashedly heroic nose in where it didn't belong! Such cunning observational abilities, I would say for certain he were some sort of highly intelligent omnipotent being with the capabilities to do nothing else but scan for the smallest microcosm of irregularities in game titling on fan-built sites unaffiliated with Sony or the Playstation, with stunning precision... if I hadn't seen him with my own two eyes. In the flesh. The hero. *spits* The "legend" himself. You may have won the battle, but you haven't won the war just yet. Enjoy your parades and days named after you, the festivities will be short lived. *escapes in a poof of smoke*
  3. Oh good lord. I took some sleeping aid stuff last night and I fell asleep far easier than usual... but woke up this morning with aches and pains all over my body and unshakable chest congestion. I don't even feel sick, just annoyed by it. Urg.

  4. So much for all the complaints about QTE's being that they don't require any skill...
  5. I think I had a Goosebumps book that let me "choose my own adventure" in the 90's, and a multitude of text based games that I used to play where I had to constantly make decisions that impacted the story. Hell man, I made one in C++ when I was learning how to code. Finozzi is off his rocker, and really loves citing Google as a reference for his irrelevant points.
  6. Well, that's no fun. You can't just expect me to ignore the belligerence in Finozzi's response to me. Oh well, taking it to PM. Without the risk of public shaming, I'm guessing he won't respond though. Either way, I actually switched my preorder from PC to PS4 last second. I want the trophies. Guess we'll see how good or bad it is.
  7. I'm pretty sure it was them. To each their own, Telltale's newest series (Borderlands and Minecraft) seem to inject a bit more humour than other games of their ilk, but at the cost of truly gripping narratives IMO.
  8. Whoa shit. Next(current)-gen Quantic Dream Playstation exclusive? Sign me up. It'll be a day one purchase from me. Glad to see the concept in that Kara PS3 tech demo isn't going to waste. I loved the premise and wanted more. Also glad to see that Wizard PS4 tech demo wasn't a sign of things to come. I would've cried a little inside if Quantic Dream's next project was some sorta attempt at 8-10 hours of interactive comedy.
  9. I find it disappointing from the perspective that this generation's big-budget AAA titles are already maxing out what these consoles can handle, only a year or two in. Yeah, it could be a poorly developed game. Yeah, "it always takes a few years for developers to get acclimated and fully utilize the hardware". That being said, they don't have the "complicated hardware" excuse they had with the PS3 anymore... and even on the PS3, framerate wasn't really an issue in Bethesda games unless it was the result of something more sinister (ie. memory leaks). And I believe Fallout 4 is the same ol' engine Bethesda always uses for these games. Honestly, there aren't many games that have *wowed* me yet this generation, from any developers really, and it's just looking more and more evident that the PS4 probably came out a few years too early and developers are writing checks this growingly obsolete hardware can't cash. Want to know where The Evil Within ran fine? On the PC. Though Bethesda was only the publisher on that. Tango Gameworks developed it. Though I agree the Playstation exclusives are a sight to behold compared to what the PC offers. Not because of hardware limitations, I assure you, but rather because PC developers don't have that kind of budget without Sony, Microsoft or a similarly large company backing them financially for the rights. That being said, Ryse: Son of Rome is on the PC, a biggie in the graphical department and a great game all around. Gears of War Ultimate Edition is coming to PC, and Microsoft will most likely continue to bring AAA titles over to PC (because of Windows 10) that Playstation gamers will never have a chance to enjoy. And, as unimpressive as indie titles are typically on the graphical end of things, The Stanley Parable is probably my favorite game of all time. Layers of Fear is shaping up to be one of the best horror games I've played, especially with Silent Hills out of the picture and P.T. no longer available.
  10. Only if we can swing by Tom's for some dogs first.
  11. Those quotes almost read less like they're remastering 1 & 2... and more like they just want to being the "brand" back. I'm guessing some sort of Shenmue-related Candy Crush style puzzle game for iOS and Android.
  12. How the heck would the zombies not eat Glenn as well? Nicholas's body will be ripped to shreds, exposing Glenn underneath. Hell, Glenn's head is already definitely exposed, with the pained expressions and whatnot. He would have to at least get a scratch or a bite. The only thing I can think of, is Glenn rolling under the dumpster as they eat Nicholas... or maybe someone/something coming in and luring them all away (but still, would they ALL pass up a free meal?) I'll be royally pissed if Glenn is alive though. Not only would it be such a cop out, but it'd be further proof that this show is genuinely afraid to kill major characters now. Lost their balls. That kind of unpredictability is what made the show so great to begin with. I was grinning from ear to ear and crazy excited when the episode ended... until I realized the very likely possibility that Glenn "escaped" somehow.
  13. I'll literally burst out laughing the next time someone tries to convince me Steam is more stable and reliable than PSN. xD

And considering Valve has pretty much given up on anything software related that isn't SteamOS... it ain't getting better anytime soon either.

I have to agree with PleaseHoldOn. Steam is unstable as hell. The games play fine but the app and service are terrible. I constantly get knocked off, downloading games is a chore, the updates never work, searching the store is slow. The games are categorized horribly. The dashboard is a mess. PSN has issues but Steam is way worse.

And like he said, my support tickets have gone unanswered for nearly a year. Valve sucks.

  14. People complain about trophy tips not existing anymore, they say sometimes writing a full guide is too much and the tips were perfect for that; everyone says YOU CAN JUST POST TIPS ON THE FORUM IF YOU WANT TO! Someone posts a quick collectible video for the latest episode released on the forum; gets shit on for it. Never change PSNP.
  15. Oh, I see. So it's a question of what's faster... getting the photos as you play through the game, or jumping from chapter to chapter afterwards. Logically, it would be fastest to get them as you play through the game, no? Since you have to play through the game from start to finish anyways for the episode completion trophies. The optional photos are typically "right there" as you play, with a handful of exceptions that require a little time manipulation or planning to achieve. I guess that's assuming you know where they are... or use a guide. Then again, I've never been a "speed runner", so maybe I'm not looking at it the right way.
