  1. For anyone wondering what route to take for the 3 hour speed run (or if you don't know where to even go for your regular playthrough), this is the path I took. I'm sure it's not optimal (the grenade launcher wasn't really that useful), and I even took a wrong turn at one point and had to backtrack half-way across one of the maps, and I was able to finish in 1 hour 25 minutes with no problem. The numbers on the route just corresponds to when the color of the line to follow changes. Some other tips: - I only ever used the hand gun to fight normal mobs. The energy weapons are terrible and the SMG is just out of the way. - I only ever used grenades on the bosses (except the last boss I also used the grenade launcher). - For the third boss (water boss), once he came above water, I spammed grenades and was able to kill him right there without him going back down. - For the final boss, the guide says you need to jump to hit him, not sure if the bananamuffin-352 is talking about using a gun to hurt him (I wouldn't recommend using a gun on any boss), but I never jumped and was able to hit him fine with grenades. I also didn't care too much about not getting hit by my own blast since I had most, if not all, armor upgrades and there's a med-kit shortly afterwards.
  2. What kind of insidious viral marketing strategy is this to release the title of the game but not the subtitle!?
  3. The trophy list looks like it doesn't require the single player mode, which is DLC. Has anyone checked if this plat can be obtained without paying for anything?
  4. They certainly are.
  5. I take it the trophies are still bugged? The game's on sale for $1 right now, but that's way too high of a price if the game is still buggy.
  6. If anyone's looking for an easy game to get the speedrun bonus: Okage Shadow King. I finished it recently and it's really surprising how slow the top times are considering what's probably possible. My final in game time was 18 hours, add 1 hour save scumming for the Feeling Lucky trophy, total plat time was about 19 hours. And this is from someone who had never played the game before/didn't use a guide (except for tiny gear locations) so there were a few spots were I didn't know how to proceed at first. If you plan it out and have the time I think closer to 15 hours is possible, which is half the current fastest time. Even if you spread it over multiple days, you have 3.5 days to still be in the top 25.
  7. Do you want it now that you know it's valued at $920? I believe the rules stated the overall prize was worth $1100, so -$100 for the PSN Card and -$20 x4 for each of the games (I think they're all PlayStation hits games which makes them $20, right?), that leaves the Platinum trophies is worth $920.
  8. It says you have to play for an hour for the "games played" goal, so Ratalaika games won't count there. ๐Ÿ˜
  9. The exception to this is if you get matched with Gio, assuming he still plays. That guy is insanely good. If I remember right, for my Ardyne and Ravus (sp? can't be bothered to check) he didn't take any damage and completely the mopped the floor with the bosses in a matter of minutes. I don't know what build he uses, but I don't think it was the dragon whisker one that most people recommend. Normal people should just do the dragon whisker build you linked because it's really good and easy enough to get. The Kenny Crow fight is a lot easier since his attacks are so exaggerated. Anyone who follows the dragon whisker build should have no problem soloing him.
  10. I pulled an all-nighter.
  11. It seems like the hardest is actually Stay. But I don't understand... How is there a Ratalaika game with an ultra rare platinum!?? Did he not do the PlayStation ports and the publisher list is wrong on here?
  12. Are the DLC trophies free updates or how much do we need to pay to get those? Edit: just saw one of the trophies specifically says it requires 8 players. I thought this game could be solo'd even though it's an MMO. Since that's not the case this will probably be a pass from me.
  13. You tricked me into thinking we're finally getting a My Name Is Mayo sequel. The article calls the game My Friend Pedro. (Oh well, still hyped about finally getting a Napoleon Dynamite game!)
  14. There's this one too:
  15. ps-timetracker doesn't have any trophies! ๐Ÿ˜จ
  16. It probably works like PS Now. If you download a game from PS Now it shows as bought on the store, with a license expiration for whenever your subscription ends. Unfortunately it appears to be smart (dumb?) enough that it doesn't also give you the other versions for cross-buy games. I never thought much of it, but I guess this is the problem with this approach, multiple subscriptions can conflict with each other, especially if you plan to keep one subscription longer and don't have the option to re-add lost games. For PS Now, if you stream the game instead of downloading, it does not mark it as purchased in the store, but I'm guessing EA Access doesn't have a stream option.
  17. It seems you may not know what money is or how businesses work.
  18. There's some Arcana Hearts games on PS Now, so if you're interested in these you may want to start now in case they get pulled. When this happened with TellTale in the past, some of the games were pulled from PS Now, but not all of them, so who knows what's going to happen.
  19. Having crunched the numbers, here are my Mar picks: 1. Castlevania: Anniversary Collection It's on sale right now and the sale ends just before the PS+ games will be announced. Sony is trying to sucker people into buying it before it's free. 2. Anthem EA will continue dumping their under-performing IPs to PS+ to try and make up some revenue before the fiscal year ends.
  20. If people were allowed to change their country then I don't think there should be any proof requirement. Let anyone compete in any country they wish and change as often as they want. You can already manipulate the rankings to an extent by hiding and unhiding games which will lower or raise your ranking (affecting everyone around you). Switching country leaderboards is a similar thing. Plus I want to pick an uninhabited country, like New Zealand, so I can be #1. ๐Ÿ˜œ
  21. King's Quest Complete Collection is on sale now (grr it's never the season pass!). I'm thinking to pick it up. I sure hope it maps to the trophy list I already have on my profile and not the one specifically called King's Quest: The Complete Collection.
  22. Some people were asking about my excel, so let's see if this works: 1. Create a Google Sheet, copy and paste the below into it in A1. If you need more rows for games, hopefully you can figure it out. All of the empty cells need to be filled in manually. If someone can figure out a way to automatically pull that info from PSNP, I'd be interested to learn it. You'll also have to go through and size each column yourself, sorry. EDIT: The PSN level formula here I think will only work if you're at least level 26. Levels below 26 level up with different numbers of points so the formula would be a bit different to incorporate those. There might be an error in that formula, it seems to be slightly off for what it shows my in my excel vs what PSNP shows. EDIT2: Nevermind the PSN level formula should be right. I had forgot to update my sheet with my latest platinum so now it's showing the same as PSNP for me. Unfinished Game Golds Silvers Bronzes Platinum Has Platinum? This will automatically sort your games list based on how much they will boost your completion if you complete them. If you add more rows for games then update the 29 to be whatever is the last row you have for games. function onEdit() { var sheet = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSheet(); var range = sheet.getRange("A2:I29"); range.sort({column: 9, ascending: false}); } 3. To automatically color the games based on completion: Back in the spreadsheet, highlight your games rows. Select Format > Conditional Formatting In the pane that opens choose "+ Add another rule" Make sure the "Apply to range" is A2:I29, same as what was in the script from step #2. For format rule choose "Custom formula is" and "=$I2>0.5" For "Formatting style" make the background red. Repeat for beige and "$I2>0.2", green and "$I2>0.1". Alternately you can choose your own colors and thresholds. It's kind of hard to describe, the pane should look something like this:
  23. That's why I provided the link, because it's not easy to find and not everyone who views this thread might even know it exists.
  24. Quick link to the existing rarity leaderboard:
  25. I assume it's the same for guide comments then? I tried to tag someone once but it wouldn't highlight. Tagging in non-forum locations would be a good addition to the site.
