  2. Even if I am not able to experience that same level of euphoria during my golden age of gaming (when I first got into JRPGs about 5-6 years ago), I don't think that's a reason for me to stop. Gaming is essential for me, not out of addiction but because it's a hobby. Lately, I've been struggling with learning to how "adult", getting a career, and growing up in general.. which I think is the main reason to blame for my overall decreased enjoyment and less time spent before on games. But I would never blame it on external factors, such as the industry going bad or whatever. I'll always be genuinely enjoying my time with gaming, no matter the season, and can't comprehend the idea of stopping.
  3. Some good JRPG games on the PS4 that I know of are Tales of Zestiria/Berseria, they were around the 60 hour mark iirc unless you want to platinum. Final Fantasy X (HD PS4 remaster) is something I highly recommend playing if you want a more classic style JRPG (but still pretty modern in a way imo). And there's also Nier: Automata which is also a really good game.
  4. I went to see my favorite band Periphery for the 2nd time back around February, always a fun time. Also like a couple months before that I saw Angels & Airwaves. Then was really looking forward to going to Miku Expo 2020 (the first time I went was in 2018), but then it got cancelled and became an online concert instead. I really miss going to concerts, it's one of the very few excuses I have to get out of the house lol. Live music really is something else.
  5. #43: Final Fantasy VII Remake Wow, just wow. To be honest I'm not a hardcore FF7 fan like many others (I only played it a few times long after it came out), but the remake made me like FF7 so much more. I think the biggest things I liked about this game were the acting, the animations, the music, and overall presentation. Actually the game was good at pretty much everything, I could hardly find anything to complain about, but even if there was who cares 'cause this game is literally an epic masterpiece. I still don't know exactly why they made it episodic, but at 96 hours that's pretty damn good for a game that's part of a series, can't wait to see part 2!
  6. #39: Project Diva F (English PS3 version) 😀
  7. #35: Furi It's been a while since getting a platinum, but wow did this game blow me away. I never felt so giddy after getting a plat for a game, at least in a long time. The adrenaline rush during the bosses was real, there were multiple moments that the boss would pull some crazy move (mainly talking about those final phases, whew) that would just own me but instead of rage it just left me smiling and laughing haha. This is actually probably my hardest plat, and also easily one of the most enjoyable. If you're a fan of action games then you'll love this game, or if you're new to it i'd still recommend it for the thrill. Huge props to the devs of this game for making one of the most swift and engaging skill-based action games ever made!
  8. My first Miku Expo. No matter who you are, whether you're not that familiar with Vocaloid or not, go if you have the chance! It's really a special and one of a kind experience, and just an awesome time in general. All I can say right now is that it's one of the most beautiful experiences I've had, and I'm sincerely grateful for it, and am definitely ready for the next ones to come!
  9. Pa paya, paya papaya paya pa paya ~
  10. #32: God Eater 2 Rage Burst Total playtime 232 hours (the most amount of time I've put into a console game by a long shot!!), and i would be lying if i said i wasn't at all burned out from this. I honestly don't even know how i ended up putting so much time into it, i guess it's cuz i was doing every mission as they became available, damn completionist mindset. :/ Nevertheless, i stayed pulled in for the whole ride.
  11. #31: God Eater Resurrection Out of all the "hunting" genre games that I've played, this is the only one besides another that I've been able to actually finish. Kind of wish guns weren't so broken/overdominant and that there was a bit more balance in the gameplay overall. But anyways, it's tons of fun, and I don't regret those 131 hours.
  12. #30: Drakengard 3
  13. #28: Devil May Cry 3 HD Finally got around to playing this classic, and while it had it's slightly annoying moments, overall it was definitely a blast. 😎
