  1. I think this just became my most anticipated game. So long as they expand the story in an interesting manner and the game is actually a good length I don't mind the episodic style. The only concern I have is they are starting this so close to the end of this generation I am certain I will have to buy a PS5 just to finish the series. I plan to eventually, just not right away.
  2. I wish the Middle Earth Shadow of War story expansion pass would go on sale some time.
  3. I mean, the stuff has the price cut making it a sale, and the sale is only lasting a couple games, which is what is typically defined as a flash sale. I will grant you that they dont seem to be as large of discounts as they use to be.
  4. Trying to decide if I can justify spending $40 on DMC5. My backlog is way too big right now, but the game looks amazing.
  5. November 2016 with 153 trophies. Battlefield 1 Deadly Tower of Monsters (really easy platinum that was a PS+game that month) Assassin's Creed II remastered Rocket League DLC cleanup Started Assassin's Creed Brotherhood remaster Started Final Fantasy XV It was a good month.
  6. Over the last couple of nights I've played through the last four DLCs and, yeah, those two were not very good. I haven't even begun thinking about the time trials for those. I think my favorite was Howl of the Monkey Gods.
  7. That was the second trophy I earned. As it stands I am... Lord Shavron - Under New Management.
  8. The Assassin's Creed Odyssey gold edition is a hell of a deal. It includes the season pass, which includes the Assassin's Creed III remaster. The physical edition of that alone is $40.
  9. I'm listening to the audiobook of The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss during my commutes. I read it when it came out 8 years ago and recently decided to listen to it while waiting for the next book. As for sitting down and reading a book, I'm reading Paddle Your Own Cannoe by Nick Offerman. I'm only a couple of chapters in, but it isn't exactly what I expected. I thought it would be funnier, but perhaps that will come. It's still an interesting read.
  10. I played the original when it came out and enjoyed it a lot. Wasn't perfect but good enough for me. I replied it in the weeks leading up to Revelations coming out and have to say I have zero interest in playing it ever again and would 100% recommend people new to the franchise start with AC2. Pretty much every aspect of the game was improved in the follow up. There are so many moves that Ezio had that Altiar did not, and it just made the entire experience limiting. Also it's damn near impossible to hope a fence without a guard shouting "Assassin!" If they remake it and fix a lot of these issues I'd give it another go, because it's a great story.
  11. https://twitch.amazon.com/prime/loot/nintendo?ref_=NSO1 Looks like it's in three month increments so you have to go in every few months to extend your online subscription. Also worth noting that if you have an Amazon Prime membership you can get a Twitch Prime membership for free.
  12. How involved was he? Did he do writing for it? The article you linked mentions a cameo, but that's about it.
  13. I don't think I could back to the original. I last played it right before Revelations came out and the improvements made in the first two Ezio games makes Altiar feel way too limited in his move set. And the achievements on the 360 were awful. Way too many flags to collect. No thank you.
  14. Can't say I'm too surprised by that. I'm glad I didn't spend too much time maybe earning trophies. I'll be sure to dive back in soon.
  15. Yeah, the trophies in this one are a broken mess. A user on Playstationtrophies.org seems to think he has a work around and I think he might be right. It seems if you exit the game, upload your save data to the cloud, then delete your local save, and then redownload the data trophies start unlocking again. I did some testing of this theory and I was getting the same results. The terrible part is they seem to break after every game you play. I thought it was annoying enough that I have to sit through all the studio logos after each game. ImI'm enjoying the game but I think I might be putting it down until they seem to get this figured out.
