  2. So I have used all the keywords that are in the roadmap but stuck at 169, which includes the upload video. Any alternative keywords that might work?
  3. Wow, another month has passed and lots of things happening in my personal life (which I will NOT go into!) and the stuff I've been able to do game-wise. All I will say about my personal life is that a major change is happening this summer which has made things tough. Add on trying to do everything at once and not have full access to online services for half the month has caused me more headaches than I ever wanted. But I have done my best to give me some R&R and game daily. So, without further ado, let me give you a review of the games I played this month: Persona 4 Golden (Vita): Finally got this game done after starting it, switching to a different game, coming back to it, doing a second play-through then trying to get the final trophy where an accident happens while fusing (had to load a save from the first game to finally get it to happen). Really enjoyed this game, as I have the other Persona games. Liked it enough that I finished the second run to the end, even though I didn't have to. If the rumours are true that the original persona games are coming to PSN (and have trophies) I will play them. Oh, and Rise-chan is the best. I don't care what anyone else says but a redhead idol with sass is right up my alley. Pic-a-Pix Colour (Vita): One of my filler games for daily trophies. I admit that these are slowly running out. With Tell Tale games no longer being made and games like Life is Strange are few and far between, I'm going to be relying on these and Powgli games to fill the holes on days that I cannot get my daily trophies done. And now that they no longer making games on the Vita, it's going to be even harder to have some for weekends where I have to travel and my Vita is the only option for me. So I will try to limit my Vita games as much as possible, although I know that's going to be hard to resist. Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning: I remember getting this game on PS3 for free as one of the first PS Plus games I got. I played the crap out of it and recalled loving it. The style similar to WoW and the obvious attempt to copy Elder Scrolls without actually copying Elder Scrolls is all there, as well as the fighting styles and tasks. I keep recalling that I had done this quest the first time I played this game. And remember how hard this game can be unforgiving. Especially since it has to be done on Hard Mode to get the plat. And me wanting to do ALL of the quests, even the ones that have nothing to do with trophies (the perfectionist/OCD in me). I am having fun playing this and planning to work on it first and foremost. One Night Stand (PS5): I only played this because I wanted something easy to do on my vacation this week. It's already done and over with, which I will update on my next weekly update. I didn't have to pay for the upgrade to PS5 and I knew it would be an easy one to do so I put it on the list to play. I even briefly thought of using it as a daily but thought against it in the end. Still a decent story with multiple endings but too short for my liking. The Order 1886: So I happened to be in the right spot at the right time to get a bunch of PS4 games for free, including this I got Watch Dogs 2, Bloodborne and Dyling Light. I could have taken a couple more but they were either sports games (which i do not play) or multiplayer shooter games (which I also don't play). I wouldn't be playing this game either were it not given to me for nothing; I knew that the trophies were relatively easy and wouldn't be worth it to make it a daily grinder either. Plan is to finish it this week or early next week depending on how things go. Slay the Spire: Still loving this game. I'm trying hard to get trophies in this game but it is slow going. But I'm not pushing to finish it fast either. And I am making progress too; just tonight I tried my first attempt at the secret final boss...and got my ass handed to me on a silver platter with all the trimmings. But I will continue playing this until I get bored with it or something similar catches my eye. Life is Strange: BtS Remastered: Almost done this game sadly. I forgot that there were only 3 chapters. And with time I need to do trophies in Kingdom of Amalur, I am slowly using up the last few I have on this game. I know that this being a prequel what can be done for a story is quite limited, and the 'choices' don't amount to being as important as they would be if it happened after the original game. It's a shame that they didn't make it that choices in the prequel would affect the original in the remake versions. Don't think this game will last much longer but will try to stretch it out as far as I can. That's it for this month. I have no idea what will be worked on next and no idea what will be left for August, and who know what happens between now and then. Have a good day, let the RNG gods favour you, try not to throw controllers too much and find those gems you really want to play.

  9. Final Update for this challenge: Lego Star Wars Clone Wars (PS3) - 80% Guardians of the Galaxy (PS4) Slay The Spire - 30% Life is Strange Remastered Life is Strange BtS - 33% +20% Ni No Kuni Remastered Diablo 2 Resurrected - 65% Flowers by Powgi (PS5) Flowers by Powgi (PS4) Persona 4 (Vita) - 75% Hades (PS4) Pic-a-Pix Color (PS Vita) - 50% So we're at the end of another challenge and this has been a hectic month, both in real life and in my challenges. Especially these last couple weeks, me surviving my friends deciding to take me out to celebrate my birthday by taking me drinking (let's just say I'm glad for easy trophies), death of my uncle (cancer + Covid = bad combination) and celebrating the birth of my 2nd nephew (and having to help keep up with 3 other nephews/nieces when I went to see my brother and his brood). I have noticed that the games I have been playing or will be playing this year are mostly games I've played previously. Now, granted, how long ago I've played them will differ, some being decades while others only a couple years and some mere months. It's not like I plan to exclusively play remastered or different editions of these games, and I try to play games that extend out of my preferred genres, but i cannot help but replay these games because I enjoyed them so much or, in some cases, play games in the same series. And I want to thank @MidnightDragon for hosting this challenge before anything else. As for my games, well: Persona 4 Golden: So I've been working on this game almost daily since picking it back up after finishing other games, trying to work through my second play-through. It's slower than what should be a quick run, since I didn't get all Social Links. But I can focus on those and ignore things like reading all the books or other things related to trophies. Also helps playing on very easy which allows for high experience and lots of money. But all the trophies I need to do are near the end of the game and I'm getting there. Hades: Knowing and remembering how much fun and how impressive the game was the first time I played it, I knew that I wanted to play this game again. I figured that it was time to play it again as a side game when I wanted to play something more casual and could be a relative quick game to run through. It also helped knowing some of the things I needed to do, especially the level 16 pact of punishment. I preferred using the shield, throwing it Captain America-style, especially when using Zeus (chain lightning) or Ares (huge delayed damage) boons. Trying to get a few other boons and making unique builds was enjoyable and a nice change of pace. If I have the chance to play it again I will. Slay the Spire: Like Hades, I play this game as a change of pace but this game is kicking my ass more that i kick it's ass. The RNG makes it fun to build decks but it also makes it hard to try to go for certain trophies as you cannot expect to get certain things, never mind almost getting everything right only to lose it in a run. Still did get some things done and still plan to continue to play this going forward to either when I beat it or, more likely, I get pissed at it and give it up. Life is Strange Remastered: One game series I have loved from the get-go, because of the story, the world building (since it has been confirmed that all the games are connected in the same world) and the ease of getting trophies. I tried not to burn through this immediately, wanting to savour the story as much as I could. But I also knew that, with other games needing long periods of playing and wanting to keep my daily limits in tact, I would eventually finish it. About the only issue I had with the game was literally at the end, in the nightmare scene where you had to avoid being caught by everyone in the maze. It took four resets to do: I was in the junkyard part (literally the last part of the maze) trying to grab the bottles for the last photo, when I got stuck on topography. Couldn't move no matter what I did. So tried again, got to the junkyard but got caught by one of the characters in their light. Tried to rewind but couldn't no matter what I did. Being stuck again, I reset the game, made it to the junkyard again, got stuck in the same place. Fourth reset, got to the junkyard yet again, and finally managed to get the bottles and the last picture trophy. Another game I hope to play in the future if I have the chance. Life is Strange - Before the Storm Remastered: Started playing this game recently and already have one third of the game done. I knew that this prequel was short and, being a prequel, it was stuck in this spot of telling a story that could only do so much in the way of story choices. I do admit seeing all the little and major things that made her the way she was in the original made sense, between her arguing with her soon-to-be step-dad and her budding romance with a character we knew about but never saw in the first game. The biggest thing for me was seeing a character in this game appear I completely forgot was in this game. She appears in True Colors as a love interest and I didn't clue on her identity until I realized they both had love for D&D, which made me stop and look up her character on the Wiki. That 'holy shit' moment surprised me and made me appreciate the series even more. Adding to the timeline (since this game happens roughly a year before the first game) makes sense that she wouldn't be around that town if the sacrifice everyone option was chosen (then again the step-dad was revealed to have survived as well, so who knows who else survived). Flowers by Powgi: One of my back-up games I play in case I need to get daily trophies done. Nothing fancy about it and easy to play. About the most difficult thing to do was looking up which games I had to play for individual trophies as most of the games themselves were done within a minute or two. I didn't even look at the answers themselves because they were easy to figure out. It wasn't the hardest game the company has brought out nor was it the easiest nor the most enjoyable. I do like that they make me think (another reason I avoid looking up the answers) and they are good for that. Otherwise just something to play and be done with once the trophies are done. Pic-a-Pix Color (Vita): So I am in the middle of a four week stint that I have to be out of town every Saturday for various reasons. I had to go see my new nephew last week, a funeral the previous week, this week family photos/cousin's son's birthday celebration and then a wedding the week after. And then coming up is the July long weekend and August long weekend where I might away from the house and, more importantly for this conversation, away from my PS4/PS5 for a couple days. This is where I love having the Vita on-hand. Unfortunately I didn't have enough trophies in my current game, never mind the fact that I wasn't even close to getting said trophies, to cover the previous weekend I would be away. So I had to add a game to my list and likely have to add a second or third game so I can be covered for the upcoming time I'll not have access to my main gaming consoles. I chose this game since I've played similar games of the like previously. This game also makes me think hard, and refuse to look up the answer to puzzles because I want to figure it out by myself. But this game will be only be played on said weekends I will be away, since I have other games I can play when at home. And that's it for another challenge. I would like to thank my producers who gave me this chance, my fellow co-stars and...huh? Wrong speech? Oh, that's embarrassing. Uhh... I hope those who signed up for this enjoyed both having a challenge they set for themselves and a community who they bond with while also having fun. And I will see those who have signed up for the next challenge over on the new thread. Enjoy finding those quests, killing those bosses, sniping the trolls, harvesting the fields and laying down those blocks.

  15. Time for another update. More games done, some that I was surprised that I got done in time for this update. While I was able to finish some I know that some of the games I play won't be done before the end of the challenge and some might be not done completely. Which ones are in which column, well: Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered - Playing this game again almost ten years later I forgot a lot about the game, including how grindy parts of it were. But I remembered quickly, especially when it came to alchemy, taming 250 familiars and the maxing out a familiar's fulfillment and training them. I did remember other parts too, especially the British accents and the British humour of Smiley and Surly. I clocked 100 hours in a month's time in finishing this. Admittedly some of that was me looking up things like formulas, locations on ingredients and familiars and the such so it might have been less than that if I did some of that while not playing. And I just platted it earlier in the week just before the month finished. Most of the trophies were only available after the main story so they came fast and furious. Just wish some of the stuff they had in the end game was available much earlier in the game, especially the car. Flowers by POWGI (PS4 & PS5) - I have played the POWGI games for years as part of of my break-glass-in-case-of-emergency trophies. Some have been more enjoyable, some were less enjoyable and some were just bland, do the trophies needed then quit the game. This lays in-between the less enjoyable and bland games, where I could see how to play the game within minutes and can solve the puzzles with a minute each time. I've platted the PS5 version and got a good portion of the PS4 version done too. Trying to slow down on these trophies buy hard when I had a game with no trophies to get for long periods and will be same with the next game I play. Persona 4 - Not much to post here as I just started playing it again literally yesterday, getting another dungeon done and finishing the midnight quizzes. Will be picking this back up again now that I have my other main game is done. Hades - I've been slowly working on this, trying to play it every other day when possible to get some of the trophies done. I have done about a dozen complete runs, including getting one of the endings. I have work to do, including working up to level 16 threat level with a weapon, with the shield as my weapon of choice, mostly throwing it Captain America-style with lightning or doom as bonus damage and other buffs. I also plan to use it's final Aspect the next time I play and complete a run with it sometime soon. I have a few other trophies that will complete really fast but no exact date on when those will come along. Life is Strange Remastered - So I have taking my time playing this for the third time, and it's purely coincidental that I've played a chapter a month. I've wanted to take this game slowly because I doubt I'll play it again, at least for trophies. I played it best as what the good moral choices were, which made things harder at points but I knew that going in. I also didn't want to just use up the trophies and go to the next one immediately since I knew going in that I'd need backup trophies for playing some of my other games. The last few trophies will come all at once so I will plan the right time to get them, which I am actually expecting I'll need later this month, so that will work out nicely. Slay the Spire - I picked this up when it became free on PS Plus. I love the idea of creating a deck to use and defeat monsters with. I don't like the card and relic RNG that you have to deal with and neither the lack of control of which bosses you take on. I have beat all of the bosses at least once, mostly with the Silent, aka the assassin character. His deck is the one I'm mostly comfortable with, using poison and shivs to do massive damage. I even got the trophy for throwing 10 shivs in one turn (which again took properly setting up). I doubt I'll plat this game though I will definitely try to. I might wait until Hades is finished to fully delve into this game but it's addicting and frustrating at times. Nevertheless I am enjoying the hell out of it. And that's it. I haven't forgotten my other games on my list either but my focus is to finish certain games this coming month. If I don't I'll keep on them until I do. I want to keep certain games on my list to do, even if I haven't touched them this month (or even this challenge). And there are some games I know I'll won't ever touch again sadly. Or, if I do, it is when I get someone who is willing to play with me on a regular basis. Until the end of next moth, I'm signing off in a metaphorical sense.

  21. So another month is done and another set of games played. Can't believe a month has passed and got some done on my list....and running out of ways to introduce this monthly update in new and original ways. Trying to do it on the fly at the end of the month, especially with other stuff happening (family out, dealing with the aftereffects from a concussion from earlier in the month, etc) doesn't help either. But I am trying. Well let's deal with the games now: Guardians of the Galaxy (PS4) - Platted this game earlier this week and quite enjoyed it. The banter between the characters and the storyline overall was incredible and most of the trophies came naturally. I had to do a second playthrough for the few trophies I missed, mainly the costumes. But the worst was getting the situational trophies where one of the other characters had to defeat a certain enemy. Just glad that I got most the first playthrough and only had to set up for two of them. Definitely playing the PS5 version in the future. Persona 4 Golden - This game aged quite well and enjoying it with a passion. Music is awesome and the gameplay, although slightly different from what I played with P5 but still fun. The only thing I don't like is that it's only available for the Vita, which makes it tougher since I have to charge it whenever the battery runs low, compared to switching controllers on consoles. Almost done my first playthrough but I made a bunch of mistakes early on that made me have to make the decision to get trophies for the attributes as well as things like reading all the books and doing all the quests done this playthrough then getting the Social Links on the second, which will be easier without having to get the other trophies done. And have to do a full second playthrough either way so it works. Hades - Second time I've played this game for it's trophies and, still remembering how this game works, was doing much better until I slogged down, trying to get to my ninth clear and dying to Hades, if not before him. Might tone down the difficulty between the Pacts of Punishment and trying to clear the game with alternate uses of the Mirror. Then try to get the trophy for level 16 Pact on my tenth run (where Hades doesn't fight you). Will plug away at it when I can but I know that it's a marathon and not a sprint. Life is Strange Remastered - currently have three of the chapters done and trying not to burn through the game if possible, partly because I love this game and partly because the temptation of just getting trophies here and not do anything else is too easy. And it's a nice thing to have if I don't get any other trophies after trying for a few hours and it's getting late. I am savoring the story and recalling most of the better choices, although I've gone for some of the more consequential choices than the other times I've played this. But this is likely the last time I will see this game be out, unless they do some sort of Re-remaster much later on. Flowers by Powgi (PS5) - Haven't done much beyond playing it one Saturday after spending most of the day on my second playthrough of GotG. Just got the five easiest trophies I could and stopped there. I'll likely be playing this as the next month comes around. Ni no Kuni Remastered - Just started playing this yesterday and getting used to its mechanics after playing it originally almost ten years ago. Depending on how things go I might switch gears and play something else during the month but not much I can say until I really get into it. But I SO remember the British accents these characters have when using the English language as the audio choice. That hasn't changed at all. So that is all the games I've played this month. With all the nostalgic games I'm playing, played or going to play I recall how I game has changed over the years. How I was focused originally on platting a game even if it I didn't get a trophy for a week or I had to play it up to five times before I got everything. Then I set a goal of daily trophies, but didn't set anything else beyond the few rules I had amended over time. Being a part of these challenge events has made me think ahead to the games I would be playing and stick to said games unless something happens and I had to switch out for a different game. It's something that has made my gaming experience more focused and, like those who do speed runs or such, has made trophy hunting a, well, challenge. Now, before I become too philosophical for my own liking, I'll say adieu until next month comes and I do this again.
