  1. After rage deleting Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands, it occurs to me that I really hate platformers and yet I continue to torture myself with them. Not to mention the fact that it is an Ubisoft product. I just happen to wonder if anybody else has a game genre they love to hate and puts themselves through the rage bliss in order to finish the game. Don't get me wrong, I like the story of most of the games, but can't stand when a game is unresponsive, doesn't recognize the button presses, or your character simply jumps in some random direction I know I didn't jump in. Does anybody else have the same feelings. I'd like to know.
  2. Assassin's Creed III Liberation since my wife got me the bundle for Christmas. I also added Gravity Rush and Uncharted Golden Abyss from the instant game collection as it used to be known.
  3. PS1: Test Drive 5 / Street Fighter Alpha 3 PS2: Star Wars Battlefront 2 PS3: The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim PS4: Assassin's Creed Odyssey PSP: Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core PS Vita: Severed
  4. You can just complete the objectives you missed. That's what I did, but tried to complete all the objectives as a precaution. Didn't seem to matter when I failed at some though. The game will show you when you go back to replay memories what you missed.
  5. I absolutely loved Severed. It is one of my favorites of all time. I wish Drinkbox would make another one like they did with Guacamelee. I was surprised to see a sequel for that.
  6. The biggest difference is the display. People say the graphics are a bit sharper on the original model. I still have the Assassin's Creed version from when they first launched and have been playing it a lot recently without any obvious hardware issues. I do wish they hadn't pulled support for it so early.
  7. I haven't had any problems so far and it has run really well.
  8. facts
  9. I am a trophy whore with no shame. Some of the ratalaika games I have actually enjoyed though.
  10. Arkham Origin Blackgate. Got it in 5 years and 11 months. Started playing it before I really got into trophy hunting and I got stuck on the Joker boss fight. Since my attention span doesn't seem to last that long anymore I ended up moving on to many other titles that I felt warranted my time. Finally went back to finish it since there is nothing but time now.
  11. Its also possible that those numbers will steadily increase over time. Some games start with a small number, but grow as more people get around to playing.
  12. I did the same thing. Picked up the first two on sale and the last two finally went on sale this go around. I was very excited as I loved the first two and was anxious to see how the story wrapped in the third. They weren't too expensive before at 14.99, but I like this price better.
  13. Not sure of an exact count, but it would mostly be just telltale and artifex mundi titles.
  14. Just saw this also. A shame he left so young. Completely caught off guard by this news.
  15. Yes, the crimes were a bit repetitive and unfortunately they were also a necessity in order to get tokens for upgrades or new gear. I think this was supposed to make you feel like there was a definite purpose to completing them. "It's ok kids. Stop the crimes and get a shiny token."
  16. I was just wondering which ps plus title from 2019 is everybody's least favorite of the year. For me I'd have to say it is The Witness. I haven't really enjoyed playing it as it seems like there really isn't a point to aimlessly solving all these puzzles. Maybe I just missed the point. Anyway, feel free to let us know if there was a plus title for this year that stands above the rest as the least enjoyable.
  17. It could be positive, but people complain so much about how awful the titles are each month that it would probably turn negative. I just wanted to know what everybody thought was their worst of the year. Kind of like a razzy (?) award for games.
  18. This is how it worked for me last night. Thank you so much for posting this because the other method wasn't working for me at all and I was getting so frustrated just trying to make it to the maze puzzles. The puzzle solver didn't help so much, especially when it came to the cylinder puzzles.
  19. I agree. I really miss the vita titles and was upset that I didn't have plus for a few months and missed out on some titles I had really wanted to play.
  20. If you would like to list your least favorites, feel free to do so. I know there was more I was disappointed with this year, but that's nothing new for each year that passes.
  21. I am just wondering if I am the only one to do this. I was playing Ratchet and Clank (2016) and since I can't seem to "git gud" I raged over the race portion of the game. I got so irate that I couldn't get under the time limit I pulled the disc and Frisbeed the damn thing out the back door and probably into somebody else's yard. I didn't stop with that. I then proceeded to email Insomniac and told them that their company should've died with the PS2. This isn't the first time I've sent an angry email to a game developer. My favorite being how I told somebody that I hope when they die they are sent to an endless purgatory solving the shitty puzzles they programmed. Is it time for me to give up the whole trophy quest?
  22. My wife found my disc and I tested it to make sure it worked and ended up calmly playing the race over. Finally earned what I needed after 5 or 6 tries. Surprisingly what helped me come back calmer was watching youtube compilations of game rage. I know I have looked like they have before and you all are right. Being angry at not earning a trophy really sucks the joy out of it. I want gaming to be fun again. Thanks to all who took the time.
  23. Believe it or not I used to love games for the epic stories they tell. I still have games I play for that reason, but somehow I feel like I'm compelled to earn every trophy and it takes away from my experience. Sometimes I wish trophies never became a thing. It used to be good enough to just finish a game. Can't pick up this game anymore. Lost the disc after I whipped it out the back door.
  24. While I was actually able to earn all the trophies in the base game, I found that I had a lot of difficulty in some places. Mostly it was the boss fights, but I can't say I enjoyed this game very much. The story was decent, I just had a big problem with the gameplay. I didn't find the controls very responsive and when I went to dodge some enemies it seemed like they would jump 10 feet and still connect with their hits. Groups of enemies, especially the Sable forces, would be frustrating to get through also as they were able to overwhelm me fairly easily. I also found the sneak missions as other characters a bit annoying. They felt necessary for the story and were interesting to see somebody else's point of view, but annoying nonetheless. Not sure if I'm excited for the sequel or not.
  25. I have been watching 7 seeds. It is rather interesting, but a scary concept if it ever happened in reality.
