  1. Hello, only few minutes into the game and my first major bug: Im on the quest to hunt down deers with a bow, if i press and hold R2 nothing happens (and yes, i have ivys bow), i also tried different controllers, still not working. Also i restarted the game but that doesn't solve the problem either. Anyone else having this issue?
  2. Hello, In the german forum we discussed some important things: There are major differences between the Vita & PS4 Version. The PS4 users can do a little trick to make their playthrough much easier, which is to play to Level 1-2, buy everything from the shop, let the time run out and the grim reaper kill you. Then play again and find you soul in level 1-2, get your money back and buy everything you need once again. Repeat until you got everything. The bad news: In the Vita Version, this trick doesn't work, since if the grim reaper kills you, nothing happens except you die (but you keep your money - but you can't find your dead body). But the good news for Vita owners is, that it seems you can get all gold trophies by playing from level fabric to the end, except 2 trophies. Can somebody confirm this?
  3. I got 100% in 2hrs and 45 minutes on PS3. Played it for the first time, so it's really not that bad. You need to get lucky with upgrades at the end for the using only blaster trophy (shield, auto-turret, HP). The endboss battle is just an endurance round with the auto turret upgrade, so take it slow and be patient.
  4. As mentioned by another user, im telling you to not play this game on VITA. I spent my last days trying to obtain some trophies which are totally bugged and glitched on the Vita. 1. Trophies for letters "T" & "N" aren't popping. 2. Trophy for rolling to the end with more than 105 seconds is not unlocking (tried multiple times). 3. Sometimes the game is crashing after finishing "N" or "D" paths. 4. Often you fall through ducks (even if you hold down the jump button and your shadow is above a duck). 5. Sometimes there are simply no shadows, not for you, not for platforms. 6. Game is lagging so much in later stages that you can't perform an old-school run. So since at least 3 trophies aren't unlocking i think its impossible to plat this game on the VITA. Good job, another crappy Vita Port...
  5. I understand both sides of the coin. When i was playing this game, i didn't skip anything in the beginning, but later i started to skip some cutscenes knowing that i miss important things. I enjoyed seeking a way out of the rooms and making decisions (basically the gameplay mechanics), but i'm more a gamer than a reader. Me and my best friend were sitting in a bar, escaping the rooms but some of the dialogues went a bit too far for our taste. Sure there was a lot of depth given to this game (i remember playing the crazy bird-novel with the more crazier final ending) but if you have less free-time its just a matter of enjoyment if you want to read or play a little bit, and for me the fun part was simply figuring out the escape-the-room parts.
  6. The game is difficult yes, but for all the wrong reasons: The controls are terrible, you'll often jump to your death, even if you are pressing the right directions. Also level 39 is almost impossible to beat. The classic mode is also quite challenging since you can't save, you got 4 lives and after losing them you start from beginning.
  7. This is by far the most annoying trophy in the game; its completely luck based. The developers said, that high numbers do show up more often, the longer you play. This is completely wrong. I made 3 categories (1 above 50 days remaining, 1 between 25-49 days remaining and 1 less than 25 days left). For each category i started 200 heists and there is no statistical significance that one category increases the chance of getting high numbers. The highest number i've seen so far is 1139, so i assume that 1140 is the highest you can get. Here is a formula which shows you the chance of getting this trophy (number 1138) by starting x amounts of heists. 1 - ( 1 - 1/1140)^X (X is the amount of tries). After 100 tries your chance is 8,4 % After 500 tries your chance is 35,5 % After 1000 tries your chance is 58,4 % After 2000 tries your chance is 82,7 % After 3000 tries your chance is 92, 8 % After 5000 tries your chance is 98,7 % And after 10000 tries your chance is 99,9 % So basically prepare yourself to restart around 1000-2000 heists to have a god chance on finally getting number 1138 to show up. The worst is, this game drains the vitas battery faster than the speed of light. Of course this is all just statistics and math, you can get lucky or be the one who needs to restart 10000 times. Good luck!
  8. I recently bought the DLC, played for 2-3 hours, quit the game and when i opened the game again all DLC progress was gone. I then got all gold medals in DLC levels and upgraded the Orion to max level without quitting the game just to be safe. Next time i opened the game the DLC progress was again at ZERO. So there is simply no safe for the VITA-DLC. I downloaded the game again but still it doesn't save. So if you are going for 100% o VITA make sure to finish all levels on gold without shutting down your VITA or quitting the application. This is a complete disaster and i won't buy anything from the devs again. At least the 5$ go to caldwell charity.
  9. Me and my girlfriend playing this game at the moment (japanese version) and we absolutely loving it. Even we don't understand nothing, it's my favourite game of all time and im so impressed what the devs did with that game (graphics aren't super good but adding 500+ different kind of fishes into a game, moving fast, pattern-wise is absolutely outstanding). We finished the story, all side quests and found all large creatures. Honestly, this game is scary: Decending into the dark volcano-pit finding a giant squid, or getting hit by a Megalodon Really, this game is a masterpiece. The japanese version is totally fine guys, all you need it a printed list and a short mission guide
  10. I guess you thought the first level has to be the easiest huh? I will try again or just play through the game again and see which level im feeling most comfortable with. Edit: Got it after 30 minutes
  11. Just got 57,86 on this level Any level suggestions for beating the DEV? Couldn't do it in the first one.
  12. Downloaded this game last week, completed it today with 100% trophies. This game could have been one of the best rpgs for the VITA if it wouldn't have all these awful issues. First of all the game is constantly crashing, even more often with the patch than without it. So basically the patch didn't fix anything. 2nd i haven't found any way to avoid enemy encounters, there is no auto-win in the game (even its literally saying so ingame) - the worst part is you go somewhere, end up in a dead end, have to go all the way back and fight every 2-3 steps agains weak enemies. I recommend to save manually often and restart the game (which transports you to the beginning of the screen). 3rd the world map, what an awful decision to make such a large map with some screens containing absolutely nothing useful, some areas are too large scaled, some are just confusing (you can't see where to go or on which layer you are), the quest markers are completely irritating (sometimes for one goal there are 6 markers in different spots because you could potentially go another way, even more complexing if you have 30+ side quests activated). Very often you have no idea where to go, what to do or how to get somewhere. It could have been a great game without crashes, a better more linear world map (kinda like Zelda gameboy or snes titels) instead letting you go to every place from the beginning. The cities are way too large, too much screen transitions combined with loading times, no auto-winning, better quest markers, quest info that tells you what to do and where the objective is. I could write more, but its enough at this point.
  13. Treasure Hunter: You need to find all the sparks in the levels (2 per level which means 32 in total). Some of them are extremely well hidden and hard to get but the good thing is: Once collected they will stay collected, no matter if you die, quit the game or even start a new story. There's a youtube video showing all the sparks. Frustration factor 9/10 Rollercoaster: Not tried yet but speedruns in this game are really tough due to the fucked up mechanics imo. Very fast: Did several tried on the very first stage but not got it yet. You need to get around 40 seconds which means a perfect run using shortcuts, perfect mechanics and precise movements. On later stages the DEV is flying over almost every obstacle which never worked for me on the Vita. So yes, very hard to get.
  14. Yes you are correct, the purple elevators lead to special stages. I got this when i farmed those for the secret items. You can check your progress in the main hub. For me the frame rate only dropped significantly on later stages (overseer 3.0 upwards). The loading times, yes, there horrible.
  15. Hello there, i just want to say this game is the best top down / twin stick shooter i've played and one of the best VITA games in general. It's so much fun, addicting and has no lack of content like many other games. Im going to give you guys some information on the trophy list, since i was asked about it. First of all, the game is easy. You'll die after a while but you can spend your credits on permanent stat upgrades (very rogue like). Its recommended to boost your health, weapon damage and slot upgrades. Your ultimate goal is to destroy the final boss, Overseer 1.0. You always have to clear some levels in a row and defeat the stage boss to get a checkpoint (elevator in the game). If you die, you can choose your starting floor (when you unlocked it already by defeating the boss). Even if you're a bad gamer, you'll make progress by spending your credits on upgrades. The best part is, after defeating the Overseer 1.0 you can start from the beginning with your previous stats, but this time there are more enemies with more health but also much better loot. The endboss is, lets take a guess, Overseer 2.0. You can do this over and over until it gets really hard (currently stuck at Overseer 8.0). Trophy wise its an easy game, but there are 2 trophies which are a bit tedious. The first one is the sneaky trophy which requires some skill and luck. The 2nd one is the unlock everything trophy, but if you use a guide for the few secret items its okay, just a bit time consuming since its random which special levels you encounter (around 10 fix special levels per level stage (1-6) but its random which one out of the 10 you'll get). Give this game a shot, its definitely worth it!
  16. The stealth trophy is indeed the hardest trophy in the game, but don't panic, you'll get it sooner or later. Don't try to get it in the early stages since the elevator is too far away (the level layout isn't as "random" as in later stages). Instead, in later stages the green elevator is sometimes just 2 or 3 rooms away from your starting point. Also try to use the hacker and not the assassin, the reason for it is, that your companion drone can take out enemies for you and it doesn't void the trophy (just stay in the corners and move slowly to get your drone moving). Also take a high-levels non explosive weapon with you to take out single enemies with one shot. The explosion trophy is very easy to get in some special stages, there are a few stages with tons of barrels and small spiders. If you haven't unlocked this trophy by the end of getting all other trophies, equip the rocket launcher and simply tank/kite all enemies together and blow them up. But 99% you'll get this trophy just by playing. And yes, the purple stages are the special stages (if you ask me, there is nothing special to them, just keep in mind that there are special levels with a hidden golden box, which you'll need, use a guide since finding them by your own is nearly impossible). In the level "overview" you can spot special stages if there is a small rectangle between the main stages). The special stages are chosen randomly from a pattern which is based on the floor you are, so some special stages can only appear in floor 1 while other are only reachable in floor 3 or 4. If you have more question, just feel free to ask
  17. How could i forget about it? I also didn't complete the mission on PS3, but i didn't try on the Vita (but i guess its the same). Wasn't there a patch announcement few weeks ago?
  18. Problem solved. Sooo, basically you need to set your VITA on english language because in some other languages the point from 2.5 gets converted to a comma, and 2.5 isn't equal to 2,5. So if you can't connect, change your VITA settings to english (USA).
  19. Anyone also unable to connect online? There is no patch in the VITA EU store, version 1.00; when starting the game the only option is to play offline (Version: Out of date, please update, check your store).
  20. Just got 100 %, there is not a single trophy glitched, everything unlocks as soon as you fulfil the trophy requirement. I don't know why the game has such a low completion rate, but all i can think of is because of the 8 hidden items. You'll need a guide for those, can be found by searching the web
  21. It happened to me as well on some levels with infinite enemy-respawn. If this happens just take the elevator to the next level. Except that the game plays perfectly fine on the VITA for me, it's a great game except the frame rate issues.
  22. No some trophies are bugged playing ONLY on Vita. I think it won't be patched.
  23. Power-ups, really? I got 100% on the VITA and it was very doable, however it wasn't super easy. I had most trouble finishing the game with the first character (hearts really doesnt matter as long as you survive the first 7-8 stages without getting hit, so every char hast 5 or 6 hearts when entering the dance floor sections).
  24. They did help me, yes Thanks for it! I got lucky with Tegrat and Torching Tunnel, only took me less than 10 tries i think I still don't think it was a good idea to put these kind of challenges into the game. It would have been much better to add like 100 challenges where you have to kill CPU-whales. Like different challenges (each whale 3 hearts -> win with 3 hearts for platinum) or (3 minutes -> make 7 kills). The challenges overall are not really fun at all
  25. Hello there, Usually i don't have problems with controls, but this game is another story. I got 12 platinum medals already, after countless restarts. It just feels like im doing something wrong. I played this game a lot with my girlfriend in versus mode and the controls are okay in this mode. I mean, its fun not to have your whale under control. But in challenge mode you need to be precise. Is there any way to control your whale other than to use the D-Pad (or analog stick) and using X at the right moment? Do i miss something?
