  2. Just confirming you have "10" health stims and bought the "Empowered Slow" ability and are waiting for the Force Wave animation to show while holding down R1 before you are killing them?
  3. 2010 - 7 (COD Modern Warfare 2: 8.39% / Assassin's Creed 2: 25.21%) 2011 - 13 (NFS Hot Pursuit: 8.02% / Green Lantern Rise of the Manhunters 42.90%) 2012 - 2 (Spec Ops The Line: 11.12% / The Walking Dead Season 1 - PS3: 49.64%) 2013 - 6 (Remember Me: 9.89% / Prince of Persia Sands of Time 21.47%) 2014 - 9 (Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2: 7.37% / The Walking Dead Season 1 - PS4: 72.99) 2015 - 12 (Minecraft: 9.91% / The Walking Dead Season 1 - Vita: 66.66%) 2016 - 9 (Batman Arkham Knight: 7.49% / Telltale's Batman: 63.78%) 2017 - 9 (Alien Isolation: 5.93% / The Walking Dead Season 3: 81.18%) 2018 - 27 (Helldivers 1.83% / Mecho Tales: 81.55%) 2019 - 7 so far, but guessing it will be 8 by end of year, with completing the last episode on Life is Strange 2 in December (Claire: 14.04% / Days Gone: 37.91%) This was a nice little run down memory lane. Found it interesting that in 2016 my rarest/least rarest platinums were both Batman games.
  4. I had the same issue and I can confirm this worked for me. 100% map now
  5. Bound by Flame. I literally quit after about 20 mins of playing.
  6. Overall I feel this has been a pretty lackluster year for games. There have been a handful of great ones, but I feel in the past at this point in the year I enjoyed much more than i did for 2019. That said here are my top 5 so far: #1 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice #2 The Division 2 #3 Days Gone #4 Super Mario Maker 2 #5 Devil May Cry 5 Possible future releases that could bump some of these off the list would be, Gears 5, Death Stranding, Doom Eternal, and Code Vein.
  7. For me its Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, hands down. I got into the FromSoftware games for the very first time just last year, with Bloodborne being my very first from them and then onto Dark Souls 3. Loved both of them! Sekiro is even higher up for me than either of those. The gameplay is top and I love the setting of the game. Looking forward at the rest of the games coming out, I personally do not see anything beating it out for my game of the year.
  8. Sign me up for champion of the gods. Great series of games.
  9. Whale Song (Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons)
  10. PS4: 149 PS3: 171 PS Vita: 23 Multiplatform: 23 PS3 is in the lead for me, but I can only assume PS4 will take the lead by the time all is said and done.
  11. Honestly, not surprised. Just as the OP said, we basically have seen the rest of their PS4 roadmap of games and everything else is for PS5. I'm guessing we get the PS5 reveal next E3 and a release date sometime around holiday 2020. Overall I am okay with no PSX this year. Too many conferences anyway in my option right now as it is.
  12. Thanks for confirming this.
  13. I will be playing as Alexios.
  14. Honestly I feel its like comparing apples to oranges. The Arkham series seems a bit more story focused than Spider-Man did. It also has a mild metroidvania aspect to it, where Spider-Man is a complete open world game. I do see the same DNA of both games in the combat, but I really had a tough time playing Spider-Man at first because I was trying to play it like a Arkham game when fighting. After learning you do not play that way and to focus more on dodging and environment usage, I started really having a blast playing it. Overall I prefer the Arkham games but after playing Spider-Man, I would not want it in that style. It fits perfectly as Insomniac made it.
  15. I was so excited when they announced Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. It's not perfect, but it was a really good Star Wars game. Sadly, in the past 10 years since we have not got another decent Star Wars console game, in my opinion. Hopefully Respawn will fix that with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
  16. First PS4 game was Resogun. Was free with PS+ on launch day.
  17. A few for me... 1. Vanquish - Tactical Challenger Complete all of the Tactical Challenges in VANQUISH. I cannot even count how many times I've tried that last challenge. Got so close a few times but never beat it. 2. Darksiders - Aerial Predator Kill 160 enemies while on the angelic beast. This one hurts a lot as it seems so easy. Played through Darksiders twice, once on PS3 and another on the PS4 Warmastered edition. Both games are at 98% with this one trophy in the way. No matter how many times I replayed the section needed to get it, I just cannot hit 160. 3. God of War - I'll Take the Physical Challenge Complete the Challenge of the Gods. This one, and the same for God of War II, are specific to the PS Vita versions only. Had no issues as all getting this on the PS3 HD collection, but on the Vita I always end up changing my weapons at the most inopportune time by accidentally hitting the touch screen. Ended up getting through the entire single player game dealing with it, but during the challenges it ends up being my downfall. 4. God of War II - Bleeding Thumbs Complete the Challenge of the Titans. See above. 5. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus* - Mein leben Beat the game on "Mein leben" difficulty. Going to add an (*) next to this one, as technically I am 3 trophies short to a Platinum, but they are all the difficulty specific ones and the fact that they stack, all I would need to do is finish the Mein leben setting. After hours of frustration, on just the first level, I deemed it was not worth it.
  18. I try my best to play all the big releases when they come out, so games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Spider-Man are for sure on my radar. But the only game for the remainder of this year that I can honestly attach the 'excited' term to is Red Dead Redemption 2. I, just as many others did, loved the first game and have been waiting years for the chance to play in the world again. Further down the road, are Ghosts of Tsushima, Ori 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and The Last of Us 2. I do not know what it is but the more and more I see of it, especially after E3, my excitement for Death Stranding is starting to fall pretty hard. Every time I see it I keeping thinking that if Kojima was not attached would i even care?
  19. My 10 year anniversary is a little under a year away, on June 7th, 2019. My first trophy was in Street Fighter IV. Special Move Master Perform 100 Special Moves 7th Jun 2009 12:20:57 AM 61.2% COMMON
  20. Everything about Ghost of Tsushima hit all the right notes for me. So excited for that game.
  21. Personally I would say Solo and Batman: Ninja are the only movies I have seen this year so far that I enjoyed throughout.
  22. If rumors are true, I cannot wait to see what the fine folks at Rocksteady will be showing off for their Superman game.
  23. Connor hands down. In fact, after finishing the game, I released that I wish Detroit: Become Human was just the story of Connor and his struggles with machine logic and (pardon the pun) becoming human, within the storyline. I enjoyed the relationship he and Hank shared throughout. Kara and Markus' stories just fell flat for me and were not very interesting.
