  1. Take this with a grain of salt.....but big if true 😁 https://buff.ly/2Bk91wQ
  2. Me if they announce the PS5 to be backwards compatible all the way back to the PS1
  3. This one always triggers massive nostalgia for me
  4. This post made me super sad. Games from the 1980s and 1990s are some of the best games ever released, even with less complexity. I do not have rose-tinted glasses on, and I am of the opinion that gaming is as good as it has ever been in the 2010s (outside of micro-transactions and day 1 DLC garbage). But to come to the conclusion that old games have no value and cannot be enjoyed by modern gamers is absolute rubbish. Some of my 15 year old son's favorite games include Mega Man X, A Link to the Past, and Super Mario Brothers 3. I'm curious as to why you would even come to this game's trophy list and comment here, having no interest in it lol smh
  5. It started for me with TrueAchievements for Xbox back in 2010. I had a just a few Xbox and PlayStation games at 100%, though I had always challenged myself in past generations (6th and earlier) by playing games a bunch of games on the hardest setting. I was much younger during those generations and didn't have my own family yet though lol This site is nice and clean, and helps make it all look a lot more organized for sure. TrueTrophies exists as well and is a good counterpart to TrueAchievements. If only Nintendo had something comparable!
  6. That's why I love old JRPGs, much easier genre to go back to on older systems and still enjoy immensely. 2D platformers age well also.
  7. 1. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 2. God of War 3. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 4. Persona 5 5. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Honorable mentions for me are: Overwatch, Nier: Automata, Cuphead, Dark Souls III, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, Super Mario Odyssey and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. Still need to play through stuff like Red Dead 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Yakuza 0, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to be able to fully gauge them!
  8. I'm sooooo pissed. I saw earlier today that as long as you downloaded this by the 13th of the December, you could avoid the changes and play in offline mode for the trophies. I JUST bought the Season Pass to download everything, popped in the game and it updated to version 1.27 and I wasn't thinking anything of it. After it downloaded, I came back to this site and saw this garbage.
  9. Probably the most spot on opinon here. In my opinion
  10. No offense to those in pursuit of a perfect profiles....but in my view it seems it would be detrimental to enjoying video games. It would put most people like that out of playing games that should otherwise be considered worthy of their time because they may be intimidated by trophy/achievement lists. I like too many different types of video games to commit to that, but bravo to those that want it......if deep down they truly want it and accomplishing it isn't too hollow of a feeling. I could only imagine how they feel when late DLC arrives to mess their percentage up
  11. I'll throw a couple of JRPG style games for PS4 at you: Persona 5, Nier:Automata and Dragon Quest XI (when it comes out on 9/4/18). My personal love for the genre wants me to put this here
  12. After toying with the game off and on since release and finally obtaining the platinum, I would personally be ok with no new trophies. It's getting a bit exhausting thinking I've obtained 100% in a game and trying to move on, only to have previously unanounced DLC add more! Going for 100 games at 100% is a personal goal of mine (all DLC included, achievements/trophies along with Xbox), and I'm at 77 right now. I've got all the GoW games done so far, but maybe I'll just start going after completions for older games where I am CERTAIN no more DLC will be added.....I totally understand that others would want them though!
  13. Never created a topic on here before, thought it might be fun to see everyone's selections. Mine? 10. Final Fantasy IX (PS1) 9. Demon's Souls (PS3) 8. Final Fantasy X (PS2) 7. Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King (PS2) 6. Shadow Hearts: Covenant (PS2) 5. Persona 5 (PS4) 4. Suikoden II (PS1) 3. Dark Souls (PS3) 2. Final Fantasy VII (PS1) 1. Xenogears (PS1) P.S. Can't wait to see how the English localization of Dragon Quest XI turns out in September! Also, I do love the Tales series as well. My favorite was Vesperia.....which will finally see a North American PlayStation release this year!
  14. I'll throw a few story focused ones at you that haven't been mentioned that are currently in stores: God of War (2018),Yakuza 0, Yakuza 6, Yakuza Kiwami, Resident Evil 7, Cosmic Star Heroine, Dragon Age: Inquisition. I'm REALLY looking forward to Dragon Quest XI and Spider-Man in September
  15. Then why do you do it?
