  1. Hi guys For anybody who has played this series before this just looks like a standard trophy list with the slight increase in what you have to do. I can see the battle count has gone up for that trophy otherwise it all looks fairly straight forward. Also how many of you will be using Remote Play to play this game on your PS Vita's or mobile phone? I know i sure will be doing this on my Vita
  2. #VitaIsland will keep it alive, it truly is a shame. This is my favourite console of all time second being the PS2. Sony should have not used it as a mascot for promoting their proprietary storage, the PSP got away with it since Sony cameras were so popular back in the 90s and early 2000s. When Sony did this again with the PS Vita it was bound to fail. Then no Sony support, developer support started to dwindle and it went down hill from there. I however have a massive backlog of Vita games and it will be keeping me going for years to come. PlayStation 5 will be interesting though i guess there is clearly a drive for portable gaming but i guess Sony has just given up perusing it
  3. Platinum No: 127 Game: Riddled Corpses EX Title: Hardcore Gamer Platform: PS Vita Enjoyment 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 (i agree with the guide) 19/11/2019 So i have had this in my backlog for about a year now i think on my PS Vita (i do not plan on stacking the PS4 version) and i needed a game i can jump in and out of playing when going through Trails of Cold Steel III on my PS4. This game was it. I was never prone to playing twin-stick shooter of any kind as i thought they involved some serious skill and reflexes which kind of deterred me from starting it up. I am so glad i pushed aside my vanity and did just that. The game itself is a very colourful retro graphic twin-stick shooter and i personally found it a perfect fit for the PS Vita to be able to jump in and out. The game plays exactly as the guide states when you first start up the game you will be dying A LOT! You basically spend a good few hours just replaying the first level over and over again to farm gold to level up your character so you can push through the later levels. You need to me a mindset of being vigilant at all times learn the patterns of the bosses, bosses on stage 4 and 5 and the bonus stage (or stage 6) are a real pain in the ass if you do not memorise their attack and movement patterns. This game thankfully have auto-save so even if you die you retain everything you collected and all your stats. So with this in mind on the PlayStation Vita this game does occasionally crash for prolonged periods of play. I noticed after about two hours of solid playing this game would just crash highly annoying when you are making progress. However with this aside for any PS Vita fan and person with access to a PSVita or PS4 i would recommend playing this even if you are terrible at the genre like me because its a fantastic game! I would recommend buying some thumb grips if you are playing on PS Vita otherwise prepare for pain these are the ones i bought. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6x-Analog-Controller-Thumb-Stick-Cap-Joystick-Cover-For-PS-Vita-PSV-1000-2000/273905158589?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Platinum No: 128 Game: A Winter's Daydream Title: A Winter's Daydream Platinum Platform: PS Vita Enjoyment 2/10 Difficulty 0/10 22/11/2019 Not really too much to say about this game i am trying to clear out my backlog of PlayStation Vita games, One to free up space on my memory card, and two because well i spent money on this game so may as well play it! This game i is made by one man and a Western developer to from what i read and he put it on PS Vita so it grabbed my intention mainly because we do not get very many if any Western visual novels at all. The game is about a school boy trying to find his place in the world goes off to Tokyo to be a student, is overally loved by his mum and dad and has an annoying sister who is just spoiled and immature until he is told to go see his grandmother. From their the story warps and gets really weird but its a good game i will not spoil too much. I would recommend reading it and when you do make sure you turn off AUTO-SKIP or Auto-Read this will disable the trophies so be prepared for sore fingers and thumbs for pressing "X" a lot. Good job i bought those PS Vita thumb grips haha The game is a walk in the part no guide needed one playthrough all trophies pop nothing is missable unless you have AUTO-SKIP on. ] Platinum No: 129 Game: Battlefield: Bad Company Title: Battlefield: Bad Company Platinum Platform: PS3 Enjoyment 9/10 Difficulty 8/10 01/12/2019 Damn well these trophy names for the Platinums are so uninspiring lol, anyway this is my second platinum in the Battlefield series overall and my second time playing this game to 100% (Originally played this game on Xbox 360 back in 2008/9). This is by far my one of my favourite Battlefield games in terms of the story and gameplay (Battlefield 4 still is my favourite online experience had so much fun playing that online for hours with friends) I did the grind all over again. I started this game back in 2016 and played a lot of the multiplayer after i had spent some time with the story mode the severs was pretty decent then even though it was a 7 year old game at that point, and now its hard to believe this game is now 10 years old! which is crazy to think. The online mode is punishing even when you have a job or not working and playing its going to take at least 6 months of casual playing and playing well to get the 10,002 kills trophy. Best thing is just focus on the medals when you do it so you sort of hit two birds with one stone so to speak. Otherwise the other misc-trophies are easy enough when boosting them. Now the story mode on hard... wow the story is fantastic but damn the amount of tanks, helicopters and god knows what other vehicles that come constantly after you and bombard you with shells and gunfire is stupid, thankfully you can die and the enemies do not respawn which is nice but to just get through it i was pulling my hair hour most of the time. Also i have gotten so used to Call of Duty's standard of control layout going back to finish this game was painfully hard to play as a shooter. The optimal layout for shooters is the COD set up i am sorry. Otherwise fantastic game highly recommended even if you do not go for the platinum its one of the best the PS3 has to offer and a treasure of a EA era of great games that no longer is relevant to them today. Now i because of this game i have started Battlefield Bad Company 2 so anybody want to join me hit me up! *In progress Trails of Cold Steel III CURSE YOU CHEST QUEST TROPHY!!!
  4. It just has to be Nier Automata the game is just perfection, a niche game that finally found its place in the world thanks to Square Enix, the popularity of the PS4 and the great team behind it who made it all happen. An experience i still return to because its just so damn good and if you own a PS4 and have not played it you owe it to yourself to do so. Hail Shuhei Yoshida hallowed be his name
  5. I am just annoyed there are no legacy titles on sale. PS Vita and PS3 would have been great to have some sales on them alas i guess i have to wait till either the January Sale which usually starts Boxing Day or the Spring time Big In Japan sale...
  6. I bounce between games, I usually play one game on my PlayStation Vita (generally something easy or time consuming) and one game on my PlayStation 4. So at the moment i am playing Riddled Corpses EX (great game btw highly recommended) on my PS Vita to balance out playing Trails of Cold Steel III on my PS4 since that is a long ass RPG. This way i slowly work towards two platinum games and break it up a bit too keeping my gaming experience fresh and engaging
  7. PSU has stated it seems to be for removable SSD storage for PS5 possibly
  8. Neir Automata one of the best games the PS4 has to offer the trophy list can be easy or hard depending on if you use the in-game trophy shop or you play the game and furfill the requirements. However overall its a stella game and everyone who owns a PS4 owes it to themselves to play that game.
  9. Yeah that is what i sort of did, First time i attempted Best of the Best i was just getting frustrated, it felt like it was one of those trophies where the stars need to align, room temperature has to be perfect, nobody in the house everything is quiet and the trophy Gods have to be with you. lol But yes there was a lot of repetition on the journey to perfection with this trophy for sure!
  10. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered This game i could never get the 1000G back on the Xbox 360 for a few reasons the Best of the Best achievement and the Veteran mode i was not super good at FPS games back then even though it is my favourite genre alongside RPG. Fast forward to 2019 after putting this game off since i started it back somewhere when it released i had been slowly chipping away at it and when i finally achieved the platinum trophy it felt amazing. Veteran mode after i cleared it for some reason felt easier than i originally remember not sure why maybe they did nerf it or maybe back then i was not as skilled in FPS games as i am now. Either way hardest sections i felt were the missile silo level and No Fighting In the War Room just because the first one you are out in the open with no cover and the second you are in a tight room with several entry points where enemies could spawn and shoot you dead. I am happy with this plat
  11. There are still some copies left if you want this version with the platinum trophy otherwise the 100% i think is £7.99 on the PS Store. https://www.play-asia.com/mercenary-kings-reloaded-edition-limited-edition/13/70d16r
  12. oh man if that is true i might not even bother booting up my copy of Persona 5 and just wait for Royal if this list is easier RPG's are long enough without constantly have to worry about checklist trophies
  13. Persona 4 Golden and Corpse Party (Korean) off my backlog
  14. I am going to go out on a wild guess here. The original Duo Mode required the second player to download the mobile application and play with the person on the home console so the coding for the trophies to pop on the PS3 was for the person logged into the PS3. So if they ported this game its likely the same code has been used meaning if both people want the trophy two play throughs would be required as the person that needs the trophy to be hosting on their PS4. just my two cents
  15. Hay man will play it when i get home can you please play mine? https://vita.lbp.me/v/sf3tz
  16. Oh yeah and remaster the game BLACK also just give me a port of Burnout Revenge from the Xbox 360 to my PS4 the one EA remaster i want badly. Port Burnout 3 Takedown too for the PS2 to PS4 programme Battlefield Bad Company would be a welcome remaster too along with Dead Space.
  17. Golden Completed! Persona 4 Golden Grade: Platinum PS Vita Date Achieved: 16/10/2019 Final time: 160 hours Milestone Trophy No. 125 I do not know where to start with this game. I picked this up back in 2013 sometime and started just a general playthrough, this was before i was into trophy hunting as a whole as well so i just sort of played the story. I did not know what i was getting myself into as i had never played the Persona series on the PS1 & 2 so this was my first entry, i just loved JPRG's and every website i visited regarding the Vita pointed to this game to be the one that needs to be played. Fast forward a few years i have been going though my PS Vita backlog to whack out some plats and to cut down on it as i find myself to be buying more physical PS Vita games due to its life ending now and this game was on my list. Starting fresh because i could not remember what i did back in 2013 i went through this game and i must say it was a love hate relationship with it. The love is there for all the characters i became so immersed in the world of Inba and their characters lives i have only played a few games in my life where i genuinely gave a damn about what happened to them and this game gave me that feeling too. Trophywise i used a guide of gamefaqs which is a complete walkthrough from a fella named Zoelius (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/vita/641695-persona-4-golden/faqs/64387) This guide and the hardcore Risette trophy by KADFC https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/vita/641695-persona-4-golden/faqs/65615 these sources were invaluable to my journey to the plat. The battle system i loved because turnbased battle systems is totally up my street the most annoying things i personally found were the bonding events getting all the favourability ratings up and filling the book urgh it felt like such a slog of work. Only thing that made it easier i believe is because playing through Trails of Cold Steel 1&2 and Tokyo Xanadu eariler in the year you have to do a lot of bonding events and it made it more bearable with Persona 4 Golden. Also another note i do not see how this was a home console game from the PS2. It just feels so right playing it on PlayStation Vita with the fact you need to be eyes glued to a guide 24/7 is the only thing that drags this game down in my opinion if you are going for the platinum trophy. Otherwise i would give this game a 9/10 (it would get a 10/10 if i did not need to be glued to a guide for the whole experience) for enjoyment and 3/10 for difficulty. 100% Clear Grade: Platinum Date Achieved: 28/10/2019 This game is part of my own personal project to get a unique platinum trophy in every PlayStation exclusive IP. I have never played Fat Princess before in my life (seeing a trend in the post?) so i originally jumped in to Fat Princess: A Piece of Cake a free-to-play game on PS Vita i had in my download list (since it was delisted in Europe) and playing through it prompted me to buy Fat Princess Adventures! Luckily it was on sale too for a fiver. I would not be with this platinum trophy if it was not for the valiant efforts of @Risso1980 i started a PSNP Boosting session for the "Winner! Winner!" trophy which requires a coop partner to do and it turned into us going through "Cakemare Difficutly" where Risso1980 basically carried my ass most of the way with me occasionally getting a potshot at the boss making me look like the hero lol. This was such a fun game to play and boost too an i am looking forward to doing the PS3 version one day too. The campaign is short and just mindless fun it gets a bit repetitive after a while but otherwise it did not overstay its welcome at all. I would highly recommend this game even if it is not on sale £15 is pretty reasonable. Fun 10/10 Difficulty 3/10 (if you have a dedicated coop partner)
  18. He stated he will not be translating the JP version into English as he has life commitments which restrict him from doing that. So i would just stick with the JP guide its only minor things like names of stuff are different but otherwise its a solid guide i personally have found so far.
  19. If you have a save from before the prologue ends i would revert back to it and complete the section again hopefully that works. I am not too sure as mine popped fine.
  20. The summaries do an okay job but there is a lot of pot holes if you have not played the other games outside of the Cold Steel series as its one big over arching story that interconnects between all the games. I would highly recommend playing the first two games first. As its like watching Harry Potter Goblet of Fire without watching 1/2/3 prior you will just be lost.
  21. If you are new to the series and starting at the third game play it on easy. If you have played these games before i would play on normal for your first playthrough.
  22. Oh maybe share the link? I have personally been using Hasegawa2010's guide linked in the Japanese version of this game on the site https://psnprofiles.com/guide/6566-英雄伝説-閃の軌跡iii-trails-of-cold-steel-iii-overall-walkthrough which seems to be doing well so far only the names are slightly different but otherwise everything is correct so far
  23. PS Vita and Remote Play my friend will cost you your electricity bill but for me it will be worth it as i am in the same boat as you. Not even from the PS4 ports? I agree but the other games are the same in terms of the trophy images just very generic artwork.
  24. Probably going to be more interesting than Destiny 2 so may just have to pick this up. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines was so much fun to play. Salvation was well terrible so hoping this will be alright.
  25. around 16 - 20 USD
