  1. FORTNITE All Tied Up - 0.57% Complete "Twine Peaks Storm Shield Defense 6" This game has some of the grind-iest trophies I've ever seen. The game itself is a grind, I'm at 180~ days played on my log-in rewards just to get to this point at the end of the campaign. Yet for the 5 trophies I need for the platinum I'm only 10-20% of my way to achieving them. I don't think I'll ever get the platinum, if I do it'll be a long time from now. I guess that's the reason the platinum has a 0.08% rarity.
  2. Platinum #44 - inFamous Second Son Enjoy Your Powers I've had this sitting in my backlog for years from PS+, it released at a time my gaming interest was more casual and I didn't know much about it. I thought the story was a bit forgettable and if you'd have told me this was a Ubisoft game you could've fooled me with all the open world checklist side content, which got old just over halfway through. But the moment to moment gameplay is fantastic, the super powers are a lot of fun. Technically the game holds up amazingly well, it looks like a recent release not a 6 year old game from the start of the generation. I've been told it's similar to Spider-Man but a slightly lesser version, so I'm looking forward to playing that eventually. I'm sure most of you reading this have already played it, but if you haven't it's a fairly short game with a pretty decent trophy list. It's not very difficult either, even on expert difficulty.
  3. I think now's the time I finally do Transistor too. I might get Bastion as well.
  4. Top 3 Games 1. Destiny 2 - 1235 hours 2. Apex Legends - 129 - hours 3. Fortnite - 104 hours Days Played 262 Days / 1748 Hours / 16 Hour Streak Trophies Earned - 215 5 Platinums 18 Gold 48 Silver 144 Bronze Time spent playing on those 3 games explains why I had hardly any trophies last year. Although I really should've 100% Apex and I don't know why Shadowkeep didn't get any DLC trophies.
  5. I had planned to make this my 50th platinum. Going to have to re-think that now. Nothing new that I'm looking forward to til Last of Us 2 at the end of May now, maybe I make that #50 but May seems so far away. I need a release date or window for Hades and Ghost of Tsushima.
  6. Platinum #42 - Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered Platinum #43 - Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Remastered Finished off the collection. I think 2 is the best of the three, but Drake's Deception has some awesome moments, the set pieces in particular haven't since been surpassed in Uncharted 4 or Lost Legacy. I was surprised at how easy these platinums were. Just a shame the trophy lists for all three games is so boring. Still was good fun though. Hope February's PS+ games can deliver something as good as January and December have.
  7. Platinum #41 - Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Remastered Platinum Fun nostalgia trip, but this one hasn’t aged particularly well, platforming isn’t great and the camera has issues at times too. Shame about the boring trophy list and trophy pictures, heck they couldn’t even be bothered to give the platinum trophy a name.
  8. I should've been more bullish.
  9. 0/1 on my predictions already but I don't care. Feels great baby! It was nice to see what our defence is capable of again with everyone healthy, just 3 points surrendered once Witherspoon got took out the game, no idea why he got the start in the 1st place. Dominance on both sides of the line.
  10. Cheers, but I knew it was tomorrow, my bad I should've been more specific - I shoudld've said time of day. Do you mean morning for America (EST), or morning for Europe?
  11. I'm not too upset about calling the Pats Titans game wrong. Predictions for Divisional Round: Seahawks @ Packers Genuinely don't know with this one and could see it going either way, but going with home field advantage and the extra rest. Vikings @ 49ers I feel weird about being a homer and picking my team, (maybe I'm just a pessimist?) even if we look better on paper. I do thing the Vikings had the most impressive Divisional round win and the prospect of facing that defensive line worries me. Texans @ Chiefs Texans can't play as sloppy as they did against the Bills here. Titans @ Ravens I do think the Titans match up pretty well against the Ravens, but ultimately Ravens still win. Also kinda surprised the Rams got rid of Wade Phillips, shouldn't be out of a job for too long.
  12. Anyone know when the store updates and these go live?
  13. Since I started trophy hunting: 2016: 11 Most Common: Telltale's Batman - 63.68% Rarest: FIFA 17 - 1.69% 2017: 17 Most Common: The Walking Dead - 72.97% Rarest: Mass Effect: Andromeda - 5.88% 2018: Zero, oof! 2019: 6 Most Common: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - 33.73% Rarest: Titanfall 2 - 9.16% Pre trophy hunting: 2008-2015: 5 Most Common: Rocket League - 21.08% Rarest: FIFA 14 - 4.18%
  14. Picks for the weekend in bold: Bills @ Texans Titans @ Pats Vikings @ Saints Seahawks @ Eagles Hope I'm wrong on all four counts though.
  15. How many platinums have you gotten this year?: Just 6, all in the last few months. I spent too much time playing Apex and Destiny last year. Not too many new games grabbed my attention in the first half of the year either. How long have you been hunting trophies now?: Since April 2016. What was your proudest platinum this year?: I guess God of War. Not particularly difficult or anything. Just glad I went back to get the platinum for such a great game. What was your worst platinum this year?: Tough choice, non of them were really bad. But I'll go with Thronebreaker, over half the trophies (20+) were missable which meant following a guide for a little too long. What game are you most looking forward to getting the platinum for in 2020?: Difficult to say without being able to see the trophy lists. But my most anticipated game is Cyberpunk 2077 so probably that. The Last of Us Pt.2 and Ghost of Tsushima are up there too. Hopefully the trophy list for TLOU2 isn't as boring as the first's.
  16. Platinum #40 - Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom One True King First game I've played in the series and absolutely loved it. End game grind to get from level 68 to 99 for one of the trophies was a bit tedious, but otherwise a fun platinum too. I wish the art in all games looked as great as it does in Ni No Kuni - trophy pictures too. I'm sure I'll get around to Wrath of the White Witch at some point in the future.
  17. God of War - Ni No Kuni II: Revenant KingdomAwarded for overcoming 50 skirmish challenges. I felt like this wasn't anywhere near as bad as I was lead on to believe. But I guess it depends quite a bit on your personal enjoyment of the skirmishes in the game. I'm much less looking forward to grinding the XP to do the 10th Dreamer Maze. Random aside - the trophy icon art for this game is beautiful.
  18. Thanks, do wished they'd used the art from the box instead.
  19. Re-downloading The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. If I don't platinum it now off the back of playing Thronebreaker, whilst I'm enjoying the TV show it's never going to happen. I don't typically go back to games (especially single player) once I've finished them. It took me just over a year to finish the campaign the first time around. Here's hoping the second time is a lot faster.
  20. Appreciate the response, it all seems to be working fine now. Also apologies for how badly worded that first post was 😅.
  21. I just changed my name from SorryWeAre0_o to EIdain. It has kept me logged in on the forums, but any time I go to view my PSNProfile page it say's I'm not logged in and I cannot log in using my new or old ID at the moment. It's not been 24 hours yet though? Do I need to wait that long before everything should resume as normal, Or is there something I should be doing to help speed it along like logging out of the forums? - I'm worried if I log out of here I won't be able to contact anyone for support. Also does it shouldn't affect my Premium membership either, correct?
  22. Not played a tonne of new releases this year but I'll give it a go. Game of the Year: Thronebreaker - The Witcher Tales Much like The Witcher 3 it's incredibly well written, great cast of characters, does an excellent job of sucking you into the games world. It has a beautiful art style too which I'm a sucker for. Nailed everything the game strives to achieve. Honorable mention: Apex Legends Best gameplay of any Battle Royale out there, had a lot of great accessibility features that made it really easy to play with others, even without a microphone (many of which were immediately copied by the games competitors). Shame about some of the technical issues, also had some miss-steps with events and micro-transactions that prevent me giving it top honours. In addition it had stingy progression at launch, as well as having a pretty lacklustre selection of skins - although glad to see these have improved a lot over the course of the year. Indie: N/A I'll get around to Gris eventually. Hoping for Hades to come to PS4 in the new year too. Surprise of the Year: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order I wasn't expecting too much from this after a weak showing at E3 and some mediocre trailers. The previous EA Star Wars games didn't help matters either. Ended it up being my favourite game of the year. For Respawn's first take at a non-FPS game I thought it was very well done, really enjoyed the metroidvania style level design too. Some technical issues and frustration with the blocking/parrying system stop it from being the best game of the year for me. Disappointment of the Year: Anthem Didn't buy the full release, but after playing the the beta and seeing the mess that followed I wasn't going to. Such a shame cause I really enjoy a good looter, maybe Bioware can turn it around in time.
  23. I hope so. Looking at the URL it does make sense, I would assume the one linked above is from January 2018 and that one is from 11 months ago.
  24. Damn that's kind of a disappointing selection if it's legit. I held back in the Black Friday sale thinking stuff would be cheaper in January. I was hoping to finally get around to Spider-Man, was also looking at the Spyro Trilogy and Ni No Kuni: WotWW Remastered. Didn't see any of them there. 😞
  25. 2,007. I had recently managed to get it under 2,000. But Warframe forever keeps adding DLC trophies. 😡
