  1. 1-20-19 Platinum #78 38 hours 7/10 Pretty cool for a parkour/zombie game. Only one trophy was really a hassle, excluding the multiplayer ones. Thankfully the many complaints of bugged trophies I read about never occurred for me, so overall an enjoyable experience.
  2. 1-20-19 Platinum #78 38 hours 7/10 All things considered, Dying Light was actually a really fun zombie game. I started it back in June of 2015, something about it back than must've rubbed me the wrong way because I hadn't touched it until the December holidays rolled in here recently. The story, for what it is, is actually pretty good. The game-play can be competitive and combat can be difficult to get used to early on. Once you've gotten the hang of it, obtained the grappling hook, the game gets pretty free-flowing in your traversal of the environment which makes the parkour experience in a zombie world more enjoyable.
  3. Thanks for posting this, I'm in the low 30s right now and the grind to 50 is one of my last two trophies.
  4. Decided to pick it up during the PS store's Black Friday sale. Haven't played an AC game since Syndicate. Pretty high expectations from what I've heard about the game.
  5. 9-30-18 Platinum #76 10/10 Marvel's Spider-Man exceeded my expectations in game-play mechanics while having a strong story. The swinging is fluid and feels natural, the only thing I could consider being dull is that combat "can" get repetitive. With that said, I was enjoying myself way to much to think negatively about it during my play-through. Here's hoping for a sequel. 10-25-18 Platinum #77 6/10 The gravity mechanics are the most interesting aspect of this game in my opinion. I am pretty sure I have never experienced a more repetitive combat system though, seeing as your only option is the gravity kick with the use of 1 of 3 "ability" powers that have fairly long charge times. The story seemed all over the place and left me with more questions than answers in the end. All that being said, I still enjoyed it fairly well and I will likely be getting the sequel. Mostly with the hope of understanding some of the plot as it was fairly vague.
  6. 7-3-18 Platinum #75 (Milestone) 8.5/10 My first PS4 title and one of my favorite stories. I can remember when I first played this a few years ago, from intro to end it kept me interested. Coming back to it a few months ago to finally finish it and make it my 75th platinum was something I had been looking forward to. My only real complaint about the game is the collectibles were a bit buggy. I ended up playing it a total of 3.5 times. The first was a normal run with no guide, second on grounded+ collectibles (only to find out they bugged), half way through again to get all guns maxed, than my final full run on easy to clean all the collectibles on a fresh save. Even with the bugs it's one of my favorite PlayStation exclusive titles and it's got me looking forward to TLOU2.

  8. @Cleggworth Yeah, that's the method I ended up doing. Deleted all my save files completely and just ran through it again on easy. After having played it on grounded+ the run was pretty fast all things considered lol.
  9. I hadn't seen an exact answer to my problem so figured I might post here to see if anyone had experienced it. I played the last of us a couple years back and beat it on normal without a collectible guide. I recently started it back up, using the grounded+ method and a collectible guide. I noticed when I started it up my training manuals & comics were in my bag already but not reflecting in the statistics screen. I didn't think much of it at that time. As I progressed I came across the locations for the comics & manuals only for them to not be there. Again, I assumed all was well. However, I've now finished grounded+ and in the chapter select screen it shows that they aren't collected. Would anyone have a suggestion on this? Aside from the obvious delete all data and start a easy run to do it all again.
  10. 6-21-18 Platinum #74 (Trophy #4000) 7.5/10 This is my second FarCry if I count Primal. It was really cool at the start, although it started to feel kind of grindy toward the end. The only annoying trophy in my opinion was the Arcade Competitor. Could definitely be a blast going at it Co-Op although your friend wouldn't be getting the trophies from my understanding. Decided I'd make this my 4000th trophy milestone as I liked the description "We Always Had Faith In You" and its icon. Overall, it's a really good game with a lot of cool features and mechanics. Airdropping in, playing stealthy, than whipping out a grenade launcher is always a... blast? Not sure I'd buy the top tier edition of it again though.

  12. 6-16-18 Platinum #73 7/10 The prestige raid and trials trophy are a pain, only because you have to find a group of people that won't bail out on the first fail lol. Still, it was fairly fun.
  13. 6-16-18 Platinum #73 7/10 Really fun game though it does become a grind early on. Definitely the hardest two trophies are the trials of the 9 and the prestige raid. The activities themselves aren't bad, it's finding a decent group to run with.
  14. God of War Platinum #72 Easily one of my favorite games for the year. All the changes they made were only good things to me. I used to like series primarily because it was just a hack and slash themed in Greek mythology. The change to combat, the customization, the AXE, the open world feel, and character development make this game leaps and bounds better than the previous titles. In my opinion anyway.
  15. 5-5-18 Platinum #72 10/10 May be my GOTY 35 hours This very well may be my game of the year, assuming Spider-Man doesn't beat it. I've liked God of War since the beginning because of the mythology theme that they used. Their newest title sticks to the theme while moving to the Norse pantheon and showing more character development than many of the previous games, in my opinion. Personally I enjoyed all of the changes to the game-play they made, making it something more than just a generic hack and slash. Definitely worth the $43 and would highly recommend it. 👌
