  1. Try a few more. I had to play more than the required amount for all the contract trophies.
  2. NA PS3 Code: HA5P-F4N7-2FE7
  3. This will be my first Call of Duty game.
  4. The Last of Us Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Batman: Arkham City Red Dead Redemption
  5. From a pure gameplay perspective Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is the game i've enjoyed and played the most for my PS4. It may not offer a ton of content, but there's a high level of replayability and i've easily put in twenty-hours plus into the game. As a huge fan of the series, the potential Ground Zeroes has showcased makes The Phantom Pain my most anticpated next-gen game. However, without any solid indicators of when The Phantom Pain will be ready to be release (though i'd bet on an early to mid 2015 release) i'm also highly anticipating upcoming games such as Watch Dogs, Shadow of Mordor, and Batman: Arkham Knight.
  6. Just curious as to what everyone's opinion is on the game. I personally think Second Son is a fine game, but it does nothing new and does some things worse than previous games. Best thing to be said about Second Son is that its a spectacular graphical showcasing of what the PS4 can accomplish. Here are my thoughts on various aspects of the game: - I somehow managed to complete and 100% the game in less than two days, not much content there and the side-activities lacked variety and weren't very fun. - Seattle, while it is beautiful, lacks personality. - The story here isn't nearly as engaging and interesting as the original games. - Delsin is a decent enough protagonist, but his brother Reggie is a total buzz-kill throughout most of the game. - Secondary characters Fetch and the gamer kid (can't remember his name) only exist so that Delsin can gain more abilities, they are never developed and only appear for a short amount of time. - Augustine is probably the most interesting character in my opinion, and her backstory was quite good. Her twisted ideology in the end had me questioning whether or not i was doing the right thing. - Core combat is essentially the same, but the enemies (concrete DUP soldiers) were more annoying than fun to engage and the boss battles were bad...good thing there were so few. - Still can't swim?
  7. My favorite power for combat is Smoke, followed by Video which i find to be the quickest way to traverse around the game. Not a big fan of Neon and Concrete.
  8. So...they expect those who own both current-gen and last-gen consoles to make two AC purchases in a single year? I love the Assassin's Creed series, but this is too much. Fatigue~
  9. Completed the main mission in an 1hour and 32minutes on my first playthrough, and the quickest i've been able to complete it since then is about 34minutes. Sure i could do get through it much quicker, but i have no interest in speeding through the game. There's little to no story here and what we do get is very dark if you pay close attention to it ex: Chico and Paz torture at the hands of Skull Face; some really uncomfortable stuff in there that probably won't sit well with many people. As for the side missions, each can all last for about less than 20minutes to an hour depending on how you play. Overall, i've put in over six hours into the game and its great. One small complaint that i have is how quickly Snake moves, he runs really REALLY fast and the consecutive CQC attack is pretty quick as well, i know he's supposed to be "the greatest soldier" but it seems ridiculous at times. So yeah, i think Ground Zeroes is great and i can't wait to get more from The Phantom Pain but its still tough to recommend as a purchase since the content included is minimal.
  10. I just picked this up this afternoon, really excited for it despite all the criticism its been receiving. From the confusion as to why the game has been split into two standalone titles to its pricing structure and length. I won't be playing till tomorrow though, im tired as fk! school sux!
  11. Well, if you have to ask..
  12. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is at the top of my list and its less than two weeks away. Bit weird since this is only a prologue to the Phantom Pain, but i'm a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid series and i cannot wait to get a taste of what they have to offer. Game looks amazing. Infamous: Second Son - Another series i'm quite fond of and the first must-have exclusive title for the PS4. Batman: Arkham Knight - Probably my second favorite new ip of the past generation and now it's back under the rightful hands of Rocksteady and it's next-gen only? Sign me up! Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - The reveal of this game was just spectacular. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Always wanted to play this series, but it was never available on my console of choice. Uncharted PS4 - Not much info on this game, but its possible that it will land this year...or not.
  13. Red Dead Redemption, this is more akin to Assassin's Creed III but a great game nonetheless. As for the Far Cry 3 and Bioshock debate going on here, both are great games but i prefer Far Cry 3 overall. Simply because i believe its gameplay mechanics work really well with the open world, while in many instances i found Bioshock Infinite's gameplay to be lacking...amongst other things.
  14. The Last of Us Runner Ups: Grand Theft Auto V, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and Bioshock Infinite Biggest Disappointment: Battlefield 4
