  1. Last Rebellion Ni no Kuni 2 Dark Cloud (as soon as you get over the initial learning curve) Okage: Shadow King
  2. No they don’t. Took less than a year for PS4 to hit profitability on a unit sold. Stop spreading lies. And even at launch all it took was a person to buy a controller or a game to break even. They talked about this. Consoles get cheaper to produce over time, not more expensive. Eventually they all become profitable, unless there is severe mismanagement. Steam gives games out for free from from time to time as well... for free. To keep. As do Humble Bundle... and other pc storefronts. There’s no justification for consoles charging the money for these things. It’s just a way to rip out features and milk us for money. No need to be naive. They do it because they can get away with it, not because the poor billion dollar corporations are selling their blood to keep the lights on.
  3. I ultimately blame consumers for buying into Xbox Live so easily and defending it to the death. Now look at where we are... And people's defenses are things that should be free. Cloud Save Storage (doesn't even work as good as Steam Cloud), Online (PC is free and better), Discounts... (that aren't even as good as Steam, and you don't have to pay Valve to get good deals...)... what actual thing are we getting out of it? We just rationalize why it's "worth it", but is it really? I don't think so... but I still have my sub. Sunk cost will probably force me to keep it at this point. I've had it since it started. It's a mess. I kind of would love, and find it ironic, to see MS drop Xbox Live in favor of pushing the Game Pass and other services over charging for things that should be free... and get an edge over Sony getting greedy and PS+ becoming pretty lame in terms of value proposition. But Sony didn't have to take the chance to charge, we [consumers] just gave a good excuse to do so. People always acted like Xbox Live was vastly superior because all the money MS made off it, even though it really wasn't. And once again, PC proves that you don't need to charge to provide a good service... And Nintendo is on the ride too. Fun.
  4. Maria is easy mode. Are you using her punch move thing? If you're replaying through entire levels you definitely aren't saving properly.
  5. Not surprised.
  6. I think people will have standards the same time that people like yourself mind their own business. So no. This is why we can't have nice things. Them not wanting ot play a video game for whatever reason affects you in no way.
  7. Of course updating profiles is under going maintenance when I'm actually playing something. Like a full month of barely doing anything and now it happens. I'm cursed.

But you're playing a game ... ? You don't need to update with every trophy xD

@Cobby Didn't say that. I just wanted to add the game I'm actually playing to my profile.

@Elvick_ I can imagine it now "Wait, Elvick's playing a game? Quick guys! Get that maintenance underway before he realizes what's up!"

  8. [My Time at Portia] This is a lot more involved than I thought it would be. It's kind of tedious lol.

They don't even really ease you in, after the "intro" you have to create multiple new stations to use just to do the next quest and the max inventory space is trash.

I don't know what to save and what to sell. I couldn't be a dude since they're all so ugly. *sigh*

And I died earlier because there's no real impact to taking damage. So I wasn't really paying much attention to the health situation, which is more my fault than the game. But you should be able to notice getting hit without just staring at a health bar.

Are you doing duplicating stuff...assuming it works still?

Just curious. Hope it gets better for you.

  9. Yeah the whole "call out" status updates are such a waste of time and effort. I'm not sure if there's a rule outright against them, but there should be if there isn't. It's just petty and serves no purpose other than to create a ton of drama for no reason. If you dislike somebody, you should just block them or ignore them through sheer will power. But like the topic says, if the block function doesn't actually offer the ability to block status updates it becomes ineffective. Particularly if the person you dislike and don't want to see things from makes a lot of them, or your entire issue is their status updates and you don't mind the rest of their contributions. It's been so long since the forum 'update' that I'm surprised some of these issues are still around. Particularly this one given that these issues are only becoming more and more frequent, and I'm sure it's annoying for the mods to have to deal with all the petty drama.
  10. [My Time at Portia] I ended up choosing a girl just because all the guy faces are ugly as sin. lol

Wouldn't usually care at all, but since you can get married in this I figured I'd go with a dude. Oh well.

  11. Probably have to wait for the game to come out to know for sure. I have never played it. This'll be my first time.
  12. I'm sure this has been pointed out before, and I think I dumped it somewhere in a general thread of 'issues' at one point. But you really need to update how blocking works, because I don't want to see status updates from people I block. I doubt anyone else wants to either. We block people for a reason.
  13. You don't believe lazy, greedy companies wouldn't bother to pay extra for something that means literally nothing? M'kay. It's not that they can't "afford" it, it's that they wouldn't care to waste extra money for something that means nothing. If that's even how it works. It's not Sony, otherwise there'd be no reliable way to build a business on easy platinums. In yet, you can. Clearly you can get a platinum if you ACTUALLY WANT ONE. Otherwise, companies like Rata couldn't build a business off it. They'd have to worry that their next game(s) don't get a plat. Yet they always do. Many plats for all the regions and platforms too. Gee, almost like they want them and get them or something...
  14. This is my first thought, I'd change your info OP. Just to be safe. Takes like 5 seconds to change it.
  15. *is negative while complaining about people being negative* Brilliant. Be the chance you want to see. @ Topic - Bummer, enjoyed getting the Requiem plat. But, won't stop me from getting it (eventually; don't think this is retail in NA so sale for me) Not sure how you could think it's Sony when things like Ratalika, My Name is Mayo, that one game that was pulled because it basically put in the description that it was selling a plat, etc get plats by virtue of the devs just wanting to base their entire business model on easy to get platinum trophies. I just don't think these companies give a shit about it. Wouldn't be surprised if a plat costs a bit more to do and they pass for that reason alone.
