  1. Obviously we need to wait for Psy to get back from vacation to clear this matter up, but usually with most events and competitions on the forums, cross save auto-pops don't grant any points. Now I don't think anything was explicitly stated in the rules for this event because there weren't many (any?) RPGs that supported this function, however the PS5 has opened the floodgates with that. I am still in the mindset that auto-popped plats should not count for any points. Just logically looking at the system you suggested, for say Final Fantasy 7 Remake the end result would still mean around 150 points for the auto-pop along with the modifiers (that's excluding any double/triple point bonuses) Now this would mean that a 54 second auto-popped platinum would still worth around the same amount of points as say Persona 5 Strikers which someone has spent a week or two actually ends up being very discouraging for the people who are spending the time working on their games.
  2. Just a heads up but if you didn't like Fairy Fencer, I think you'll feel very much the same (if not worse) about Omega Quintet. The characters and writing are really bad, and the gameplay is anti-fun. It's in my top 5 of most hated games I followed through to platinum
  3. Just to let you know, if you're referring to Mass Effect then you are mistaken. You can't even import old saves to auto-pop trophies: "The developers have made a lot of changes to the game's backend that makes previous saves incompatible with the new version" Also, from what I understand (and glancing at trophy guides) the Mass Effect games are fairly short experiences and can indeed be platted within 1 day 100% legitimately, which is what the person who played these games did. Their timestamps reflect they played through the games legitimately too without any auto-popping. So it's not really impossible.
  4. Honestly, I don't think auto-pops should count towards any points - and certainly not have an auto-pop count as a double points game. It's not really in the spirit of the event. Obviously Psy gets the final say on this but it seems kind of cheap and low effort to me
  5. I remember seeing your status updates on that one. I will put that in a maybe pile for the future, not sure I'm ready for another 200+ hour game at the moment. I do have the next Utawarerumono game and also God Wars: Future Past lined up too
  6. Update Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception 100 + 29(B) + 22(S) + 18(G) - 19.11 = 149.89

  8. Finished my first playthrough of Star Ocean: The Last Hope ^_^  Still a long way to go for the platinum, but feeling pretty pleased as I started this two years ago and it didn't really click with me at the time.  Glad I gave it another chance 'kay

Ah... there's some nice PTSD flashbacks for me. 😅 It's definitely a good game if you give it a chance, the plat is just... 😶 Well, good luck with the rest of your journey, you have about 90% left to go! 😂

  9. Sadly I don't think Reverie counts for points - here's Psy's ruling on this one from earlier in the thread
  10. 1. Absolutely yes! 2. I don't think there are many (any) improvements that need to be made to this format 3. I feel like Able Gamers would be a great charity to support with a event supporting disability awareness. Also Extra Life might be a good one later in the year. I was thinking as well something centered around Save our Oceans. An event around Christmas is also a fantastic idea.
  11. I'd say that's highly doubtful. Genesis 2 released a few hours ago and no sign of any new trophies/achievements, and they didn't add any for their other official DLCs (Scorched, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis 1) and the only unofficial map that they added one DLC trophy to was Center (Ragnarok and Valguero didn't get anything) Genesis 2 is also the last official DLC they are releasing. The only time I've seen them add more trophies was when the entire game went from the alpha release to full official release. ------------ With Conan, I believe this is their first and only official new map release right? I'm pretty sure everything else has been cosmetics and new items added into the base game - which could explain why it got DLC trophies. I imagine if anything they will spend the next couple of years updating and tweaking Isle of Siptah rather than pumping out more new DLC
  12. I think you can swap all 3, but you can only swap them once. That's the way I interpreted the rules anyway, I'm sure Psy will correct me if I'm wrong
  13. In the rules, you're allowed to swap your bonus games once so I imagine it will be OK. I recently swapped my x3 without issue
  14. According to everything I've seen, this event doesn't give crowns at all for either Diablos or Black Diablos If you have Iceborne, you might be better doing Heavy Metal in the Waste event - it's a 5 monster hunt but has an increased crown chance for Black Diablos. If you don't own Iceborne then investigations are still probably your best bet.
