  1. I really want to see the trophy list for this game...
  2. I'll probably grab Mafia to at least throw it in my backlog since I've thought about buying it a few times
  3. Update #2 B-1: HYPE! - God of War: Ragnarok: I really, really liked this game. Did I think it was the best-thing-since-sliced-bread? No. The middle dragged out a lot more than it needed to. I still think the game has serious issues with 'too many buttons' for combat. More than once I messed up what I was trying to do because I couldn't remember if it was or and then whatever follow up button. But the story was good, really, really good. Satisfying. I love seeing how the series has matured. 🔶 I-4: With an Isometric View - Digimon Survive: Digimon seems to swing pretty wildly with video game ideas and I'm here for it. This game is 7/10 visual novel with a horror tinge and 3/10 battle which isn't bad. I'm not a huge fan of how you recruit digimon (I prefer the Cyber Sleuth style) but with a guide it's not too bad. I can say, though, that this game is so much darker than I expected and I really like that. While the game is visual novel, the battles are isometric so I believe that counts. I would also like some suggestions for December releases! I assume you picked this one because ? Does that count?
  4. While I plan to finish most everything on my profile there are a few that...well...probably won't be finished realistically. Diablo III - That's a long platinum to work at and while I enjoy playing the game, that's a lot of grind for something I'm not in love with Hyperdimension Neptunia - This game is just not that good? I plan to plat the rest of the series but this one is just...a complete mess Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X - This is a skill issue. I'm not good enough to beat the hardest song with modifiers which is, sadly, necessary
  5. Do I finish a game I'm already working on or start a new one...I know I need to finish something but Marvel Midnight Suns is just sitting on my shelf

Digimon Survive.  I think I'm closeish to the end of the first playthrough but I'll need 3 more...

      Puppeter04

      start Marvel right away hahah

    4. Metal Slime King

      Metal Slime King

Always start the new game!

  6. I've had this show up a few times and normally just unplugging it and plugging it back in makes it go away. That or making sure the other end if fully plugged into the power source. It might just be an incomplete connection
  7. While it won't last, I have my first ultra-rare trophy!  I'm sure others will catch up with me sooner or later, though

Yep.  I'm working on both the PS4 and PS5 versions (since stiff is retroactive in a way) but um...that's a LOT of collectibles and leves!

      RetroFeniks

      Well done!

      CelestialRequiem

Mine always fluctuates between 99-104 depending on the current player count of Sol Cresta.

  8. I swear I asked this question but I looked through the thread and I don't see if so I don't think I did Quick DLC question, would the DLC trophy pack for an MMO count? @Squirlruler
  9. While I love Pokemon, and I LOVE pokemon, man...digimon is just so weirdly cool.  Like I have so many issues with it but heaven help me I will play every digimon game I can get my hands on

I have a couple games of the series, looking to play them soon

Wish they had remastered Digimon Adventure (PSP) and Re:Digitize (3DS; enhanced from PSP) and localized them. :(

Hell, I wish they'd do a Mega Man style collection of classic Digimon games. I'd loooooove to play the older games I didn't have, they're all so expensive now. Especially when you want it complete.

  10. Wow...thank you so much! I'm going to pass on Tales of Symphonia only because I know how LONG those games can be and I already have some longer games on my list. I will, however, look into the other suggestions
  11. Plat #87 - God of War Ragnarok.  I liked it.  It was a good game and I enjoyed myself although I still think they need to calm down on the combat options.  Too many skills, too many buttons.

  12. God of War: Ragnoarok - Light Blue I really liked this game. It was fun, emotional, good music. I do not, however, think it is the best game in the world (nor even the best that came out in 2022!). Still, overhyped as it is, it's a good game. I have some of the same qualms with it that I had with the previous one (too many combat options) but I feel like it detracted a little bit less this time. Still dragged in the middle though. White - AI: The Somnium Files Yellow - N/A Tan - Steins;Gate: My Darling's Embrace Orange - Neptuna: Virtual Stars (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Red - Final Fantasy Type 0 (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Pink - Sakura Wars (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Maroon - The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Purple - Hyperdimention Neptunia V (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Deep Purple - Digimon Survive (In Progress - Story) Blue - The House of Fata Morgana Light Blue - God of War: Ragnarok Green - N/A Light Green - Donut County Brown - London Detective Mysteria (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Grey - Kingdom Hearts 2.8 A Fragmentary Passage (In Progress - Trophy Hunting / On Hold) Black - Spider-man: Miles Morales (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Still looking for suggestions for green and yellow
  13. Got gifted Marvel: Midnight Suns and I'm deciding if I should slot it in for this year or put it off.  Anyone know ~ how long it is?  For someone of moderate skill level

  14. Update #1 B-1: HYPE! EDIT: I would also like some suggestions for December releases! @Squirlruler FYI I think you missed me, I'm not on the participants list
  15. It's always me, don't worry. I will wear my owl proudly!
  16. Question for multi-route visual novels. Would completing 'one route' count as story completion for these purposes? Or all of them?
  17. @DrBloodmoney No rush if you're working on it, but has the participants list been updated recently? I don't see my name listed
  18. I'd definitely play it all over again
  19. Can someone give me a good idea of what games with an 'isometric' view are?

@DrBloodmoney Didn't expect such a heated conversation...I'm just glad people are giving me recommendations

    3. DrBloodmoney

      DrBloodmoney

ha - its not heated, I promise!

I'm an engineer - drawing in isometric is my bread and butter - it's nice to be able to actually apply that knowledge to anything else TBH 😂

    4. Jeanoltt

      Jeanoltt

Anything that looks like Diablo. You shouldn't be able to move the camera and it's a fixed angle towards the character.

  20. Should I enter 2 challenges a year? No. Am I? Yes. I think this is all possible for me although I don't really buy games I think I will dislike
  21. #85 and #86 in one day - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy and Donut County.  Glad to have Ace Attorney done if only because some of those cases on LONG.  I loved it though, hopefully they translate the rest of the series.  Donut County was cute.

  22. Updated list! Was that fast, yes, but hey progress is progress. Donut County - Light Green I actually wanted to play this game since it came out since it looked really cute (and I have a soft spot for raccoons). So it was nice to have a 'reason' to! An easy plat/game but it was, in fact, very cute and also very satisfying. Not bad for a little cheap indy game. White - AI: The Somnium Files Yellow - N/A Tan - Steins;Gate: My Darling's Embrace Orange - Neptuna: Virtual Stars (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Red - Final Fantasy Type 0 (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Pink - Sakura Wars (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Maroon - The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Purple - Hyperdimention Neptunia V (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Deep Purple - Digimon Survive (In Progress - Story) Blue - The House of Fata Morgana Light Blue - God of War: Ragnarok (In Progress - Story) Green - N/A Light Green - Donut County Brown - London Detective Mysteria (In Progress - Story / On Hold) Grey - Kingdom Hearts 2.8 A Fragmentary Passage (In Progress - Trophy Hunting / On Hold) Black - Spider-man: Miles Morales (In Progress - Story / On Hold)
  23. Oh! Donut County looks cute, that's a good idea. I've wanted to look into that for a bit I'll also see if I can borrow my friend's Y's, she had a lot of good to say about that game!
  24. Well backlog meaning 'games I own' started or not! I'm all for recommendations, though.
  25. So I've decided that there's NOTHING in my backlog that has a remotely green coloration... I swear every game I want to work on is vaguely black, white, red, or blue Also I realize Sakura Wars is mostly white but the game is SAKURA wars and the logo is pink, it's the best I got Well I guess I can't show it off since all I'm getting is error messages every time I try to add a picture, give me some time on that
