@GT__Jedi Same to you darling, just got a lot on in my personal life with travelling, work and such so haven't been gaming as much as I'd like lately xD how have you been? ^_^

Fantastic!  Haven't really played too much either this past year.  Trying to get back to it during this heat.  😁

@GT__Jedi I went to Philadelphia a couple of weeks ago, absolutely scorching hot! 😅 I went to Canada and New York too but they weren't as hot, Philly was something else 😂

  2. :platinum: #281 WATCH_DOGS 2 - I'm not sure about this one... it was good in some places in terms of story but at one point I just got so bored I stopped paying attention and was watching Dvds whilst playing the game. Trophies are easy but I think the game throws too much shit and mechanics which you probably will never use anyway and it does come with its fair share of bugs too but it weren't the worst game I ever played but it does add to the Ubisoft blandness pile 🙄

  3. :platinum: #280 YOOKA LAYLEE AND THE IMPOSSIBLE LAIR - This was fun and reminded me very much of Rayman Legends/Origins. The only problem is the impossible lair itself, it's clunky and buggy and one hit could result in you losing 3 bees but at least they patched it so you can continue once completing each section rather than in a single run otherwise I think I'd be pulling my hair out xD

  4. :platinum: #279 CHAOS;CHILD - I didn't bother reading it and just skip read everything but I watched the series o DVD at the same time I was doing it and after watching it, it's fantastic :)

  5. :platinum: #278 ASSASSIN'S CREED ODYSSEY - This game was long as in so FUCKING LOOOOONG - But I loved it! Comparing it with Origins, the story was much better and it didn't have to be self aware like 'shit, this is an Assassin's Creed game, we need to mention Assassin's n' shit' but with that said, the only awkward part is that Odyssey had Assassin's Creed stapled to the title because as a stand alone game this would have been amazing. So a lot of the locations to complete are cut and paste with a few exceptions here and there but I learnt my lesson from Origins to complete them as I went along so I could level up and get all the good gear to make the game easier during story progression. By the time I finished the game I was level 81 and all of my gear was legendary with engravings/upgrades included and ready for war which is handy anyway because the mercenaries are annoying but at level 81 with all the upgrades I took down a level 99 mercenary with little trouble :) I didn't get the happy ending as far as the story goes, I saved my mother and sister but gutted everybody else because fuck em' but I was disappointed that saving my sister didn't give me all the cultist locations as I still had to find them all myself. The fate of Atlantis is a bit of a step back but still enjoyable compared to the rest of the game/other DLC but it's definitely worth the money and 120+ hours it took me to finally beat the game ^_^

  6. :platinum: #277 FIVE DATES - I liked this actually, I thought it was pretty good. It's like how Tinder should be on pen and paper but the complete opposite in the real world. So these 5 girls, I'd bang them all but they all seem to have a crutch (like Tinder) so one still has feelings for their ex, one wants to go travelling, one is a model and has to protect her 'brand' and doesn't have time for a relationship, one wants to get married and one was just too high strung for my liking but it's still worth a play, I enjoyed being a dickhead towards them and then laughing at the overall cringey small talk whilst trying to get into their pants xD

  7. :platinum: #276 THE HOUSE IN FATA MORGANA - Another visual novel what I lost interest in within the first 10 minutes of reading it so I followed the platinum walkthrough whilst watching Johnny Bravo on Blu Ray 😂

Liked just for watching Johnny Bravo! :yay:

  8. :platinum: #275 WATCH_DOGS - The gameplay was fun but the story was a bit lack luster where I was questioning the plot here and for fucks sake Ubisoft, no more collectables... I spent 16 hours on Saturday gathering shit and completing side missions... I never felt so drained Sunday morning 🙄

Those Fixer Contracts nearly broke me. Repetitive and dull.

  9. Not gaming related but, I got my results this week for my college studies... I got a distinction for my level 3 in Electrical Installations, one step closer to becoming an electrician :)

Nice! I had an internet provider guy come out to my parents house once that didn't learn enough about what electricians do. He was running a coaxial drop from the pole to the house. He saw where the power meter was made sure his mount was offset to it and went to screw in his brackets. I heard what was going on from inside the house. Then the power went out and I ran outside. He had a bit of a stunned look and was just standing there. When he saw me, he grabbed his phone and while dialing said "I've never had that happen. Let me call my supervisor and have him come out to see what I need to do." I looked over to see the scorch mark on the siding. I asked if he looked under the siding before drilling into it and he shook his head No. I walked over and removed a couple of the shingles from around here he drilled and he managed to drill a 3 inch screw directly between the mains line running into the house. He was close enough to spark, but not touch any of them. 1 mm in any direction and he would have made direct contact.

Be safe out there in that trade, you don't get many do-overs.

Aspirations for such an indispensable profession are to be commended! Besides, you'll be the most electrifying guy on your block 🙂

  10. :platinum: #274 ADVENTURE TIME: PIRATES OF THE ENCHIRIDION - It's a little bit buggy and clunky but this was a very fun game, nice easy platinum before I start Watch Dogs 😊

  11. :platinum: #273 PSYCHEDELICA OF THE ASHEN HAWK- Another visual novel which didn't grab me in the first 10 minutes and paid no attention to it, sadly I don't think an anime for this one exists otherwise I'd favor buying it on DVD instead 😊

  12. :platinum: #272 ASSASSIN'S CREED ORIGINS - Okay so my last status (the platinum review for Spiderman Miles Morales) got taken down because I spoilt the shitty story which is a bit weak in my opinion and now I'm back to write about AC origins.

Firstly, the gameplay is good and fun for just running around liberating everything... It's a bit clunky for climbing here and there and that's the good thing about the game out the way with

Secondly, the 'story'. If this was a stand alone game with nothing to do with AC then this would have been good but sadly about 80% into the story Ubisoft must have thought 'shit, we forgot to mention anything to do with assassin's, let's throw it in last minute and hope no one notices' well, I noticed. So you're married to some hot chick avenging the death of your son and randomly the hot chick just suddenly announces we can no longer be together and has undergone a name change with no character development whereas the hubby Bayek forms a brotherhood, a creed called the hidden ones with a random bunch of very minor characters who were less memorable than Leonardo DeVinci... It's just a poorly cobbled together story and that all boils down to Ubisoft wanting to stamp the AC brand onto it

Then the DLC, the hidden ones DLC is okay but the second one when you travel the afterlife and start battling mummies is just ridiculous, there I said it. Let's see what Oddysey brings when I get to it 😅

      @Copanele oh I cant wait... 😂😂

@AK-1138 I get that but what started off as a simple tale of revenge turned into a 'Okay let's make a brotherhood for no other reason because Ubisoft demands it' with no progression or development, it's just ludicrous 🙄😂

  13. :platinum: #270 PSYCHEDELICA OF THE BLACK BUTTERFLY - Sigh... another game that failed to grab me within the first 5 minutes or so. I went into 'skip all the cutscenes and net an easy plat' mode again but it was something to do on the coach back from London after catching up with a friend for her birthday whilst escaping all the carnage from the final on Sunday night 🤪

  14. :platinum: #269 PERIOD CUBE ~ SHACKLES OF AMADEUS ~ - Again, another visual novel which didn't grab my attention and lost interest in pretty quick so did the 'skip all the cutscenes and net an easy platinum' reflex which is shit for me really, I might not include these ones in my status updates but I have decided to buy the DVD's of any of the ones that I did lose interest in hoping I can regain it that way (cough) Psycho Pass (cough) 😅

  15. :platinum: #268 UNCHARTED 4 - Well let's get the obvious elephant in the room out of the way with first... the DLC was a total farce, absolute unfair punishing dog shit and I refuse to play another naughty dog game if it comes stapled with shitty multiplayer trophies like this game has. Now the story, it was good but I did feel like naughty dog were running out of ideas in terms of being lead from one place to another on a wild goose chase to get to the pirate gold at the end and I felt the rope and skidding down dirt mechanic was over used to death but I'm being kind since I didn't have to play It twice as I had the disc version so I was able to use the glitch by playing the game unpatched and then using level select to unlock all the difficulty trophies in about 15 minutes 😅😊

      Congrats!

Very doubtful that I'll be going for the multiplayer DLC trophies on this one. I think I'm perfectly happy with the campaign and just doing some minor stuff in the MP and calling it a day, lol.

@Honor_Hand That's the best way to play it, just write the DLC off xD
