Scarlet Nexus - It's so weird to me that most characters in this game have super Japanese first names then have Western last names. Kasane Randall, Shiden Ritter, Arashi Spring, Fubuki Spring, Kyoka Eden, Kagero Donne, Tsugumi Nazar, Wataru Frazer, Haruka Frazer... just weird.

Making a game purposely not 100%-able for thematic purposes....

I can imagine how well this went over, lol. I'm sure some people were over the top in their criticism. But, still, if you're trying to sell something like this you really should have a better idea of what your audience/market is like. If you're going to kick the hornets' nest this obviously, you should at least know you're doing it!

I think it's hilarious and to align completely with the theme, people who feel entitled to it can just use cheats to get it. It so perfectly fits with the theme of the game that I really appreciate it.
The people who wouldn't have appreciated the theme of the game would have rejected the concepts in the game anyway so them skipping because they can't get unlock the final achievement is no loss at all.

Platinum #157 - Chicory
Pretty easy platinum but SO MANY COLLECTIBLES. Fortunately someone made a really nice collectibles map (which I linked in the forum topic asking about a collectibles guide).
-
Chicory - So. Many. Collectibles.
Some of them are fun to do at least... solving puzzles in order to get them. But there's just soooo many. -
Dodged a bullet... started playing The Caligula Effect and after 5 hours I still had no clue what I was doing because the battle was super convoluted. Wasn't having fun but, unfortunately, the game pops several trophies before you even progress through your first couple battles. Fortunately, though, I didn't sync the trophies so I was free to format my Vita to pretend like the game never existed on my system. Woo hoo!

@XchocomanX, I thought so. I had no idea what I was doing. They gave like 30 tips during the first battle but it didn't make any sense. It's also too much for the small Vita screen imo.

100% #200 - Mom Hid My Game - It was OK for being a short 1-2 hour game... just some interesting "logic" puzzles
-
@ThatMuttGuy, it was enjoyable, except for the bars minigame. I liked how some of the puzzles intentionally tricked you... like some of them had very obvious solutions while others had "obvious" solutions that led to a game over... some of them were kind of funny too.

Platinum #156 - Astro's Playroom
Probably the most fun I've had with a game in quite some time, which is awesome considering the game was free! Also, I don't know why I was so worried about the speedruns.... got it with minimal retries on levels and actually have the 2nd fastest time among my friends (though there's only five of us who have played so...).
-
Astro's Playroom - Having a good time with this game so far. I think I'm psyching myself out about the speedrun part, though. I mean, if 51% of people can do it, then so can I. But I hate speedruns.

@DaisyVilla102, I basically calculated that you can get a maximum of 52.5 seconds on each level to reach 7 minutes exactly. So I kept retrying levels until I got under that time, most of the time beating it by several seconds. I only had one level that was over that time limit (stupid monkey suit level) and clocked in around 6:45.

Ryza has some thigh competition.
Looks like a very pretty game!

Platinum #155 - Death End re;Quest
It was OK. I had heard it was an amazing and innovative game, but it didn't really live up to the hype. Not a bad way to spend ~35 hours, but nothing really standout about it.

@eigen-space It's definitely on my list of games to play. Another friend told me about this character recently and I immediately added it to my radar afterward. xxD
Thanks!

Death End Re;Quest - Just finished The Pain Area, which is basically a battle gauntlet of 5 floors with 15 battles a piece. It took a total of 3 hours to go through, but now the hardest trophy in the game is complete. Now it's basically just story-related trophies from here on out.
-
Death End Re;Quest - Story finally started picking up from what I played over the weekend. This game feels a little more like a visual novel with RPG battle interludes than a true JRPG... was hoping for something a little more balanced than this, but I guess it's OK. Looking forward to seeing what the ending is like, though... the story has got me interested in how it resolves... and then during the second playthrough I can just skip all the text and be done with it much quicker lol
-
I think the novel sections are where the game shines because the overall gameplay LOOKS like it would be reptitive but i actually liked unlocking new skills too. The alt endings are pretty good as well, they're not two sentences about what happened to the party off screen and slapping "ending" on it.
Hope you have a great time!

@YaoiGod, it just took a longgggg time for it to get interesting for me. Probably chapter 7ish is when it really started to heat up (or whenever it was that the "NPCs" started to glitch out). Now I'm actually interested in the event flags and especially the trips to the Real World.
Glad to hear that the endings are satisfying. Maybe it won't feel so annoying having to redo the final battle half a dozen times for each character ending!

Ever since you posted about pancakes, I've been thinking about making them. So today I went to the grocery store and bought some mix and then realized I have no idea how to actually cook them on my stove top so I burned the shit out of them. Still ate them though, but my husband wouldn't and wouldn't let me feed them to my child haha.

Just turned in my last assignment for my Neural Networks class. I didn't program a single neural network during this entire course...
-
-
@enaysoft, this is my second time in grad school... had to stop going the first time due to some circumstances, but that program was leaps and bounds better than what I'm in right now (they were different degree programs... the first was was for statistics, the current one is data science).

Death End Re;Quest - Do all of Compile Heart's heroines have amnesia?
