  1. Korone best girl.
  2. After playing the game a while, i'm stuck at 3 different places in the first level. First of all, if you keep going right, you find some tall buildings that spawn enemies. Honestly, i haven't been focusing on this place, since getting there takes a lot of time and the enemy spawns in this game are so random it messes you up easily. If you go left at the huge cliff, and keep going left, you find the super jump powerup. However, if you have the super jump there, you can manage to jump to the next platform after that and keep going. This leads to a platform hidden in a tree, but the jump from that platform to the next is pretty hard, and i'm not sure if it's even possible unless i'm missing something. I'm guessing that going left here would lead you somewhere above the building to the left of the start screen. I'm not sure what the powerup in that building does, by the way, other than apparently give you a tiny amount of ammo. Finally, with the superjump, you can head upwards when you're on the platforms that lead to the super jump. You can wall jump between the two walls to keep climbing upwards, but the spikes on the walls make this VERY precise. I've managed to get past a couple of the spikes so far, but it requires perfect jumps. Anyone managed to get to the end of any of these routes? I'm starting to feel like the game might be beatable SOMEHOW, as opposed to my initial theory that it was just impossible on purpose to mess with people.
  3. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Sony must have SOME sort of criteria that must be met in order to release a game on PSN. One of the main reasons why i still have a LITTLE bit of hope that this game is beatable somehow is because i can't remember a lot of cases of published games being so broken that they're straight up impossible to finish. So it seems reasonable to assume that they require devs to somehow prove that their game is beatable, at the very least. Even the crappiest, most low-effort PSN games tend to at the very least be finished, functioning games. Besides, if you COULD publish totally and obviously unfinished and unbeatable games, then Ratalaika would already have published 30 or so games that give you the plat on startup and then crash on the main menu.
  4. Nope, and i gotta admit, i don't have much hope left at this point.
  5. Yeah, it feels a bit much. As much as i genuinely and wholeheartedly enjoyed the previous games, i'll probably have to wait for a sale on this one, since like many others i kinda need to mind my budget right now. Let's just hope nobody else beats me to writing a guide in the meantime.
  6. Even though i've given up on trophy hunting, i might have to make a comeback for this one, just so i can write a guide for it. Gonna go ahead and guess that this will be pretty fun too, just like the last three Dragoon games.
  7. So, has anyone made any progress? I certainly haven't. I want to keep hoping that there's some way to beat this, since we got pretty far, but i'm dead inside and hope seems increasingly futile. However, interesting note about DenySoft website: it now has a message on it: Fingers crossed, maybe it'll come back and they'll announce Attacking Zegeta 3, lads.
  8. Your friend is totally wrong, they're not just as bad. I mean, the people who hack trophies probably put more time and effort into it.
  9. Yeah, i've had the same theory about the first level being a nexus of sorts. But at this point i strongly doubt that, since it seems like the obnoxious platforms at the very end is the last place that people are having trouble getting to. I still think it's possible to beat the level, since part of me wants to believe that Sony has some kind of quality control (haha), but those jumps are downright brutal.
  10. Man, this shit is wild. The level being straight up impossible to beat doesn't seem very likely in theory, since it does seem like all the dev's other games have been beatable, but the more time we spend on this, the more i start to wonder. I haven't been able to make any more progress myself, either.
  11. Sure, Super Meat Boy is hard and all, but people have already seen everything there is to see in that game. Here there's a chance to discover something new, or at least find out whether or not there is more to the game to even discover. Besides, people thought the first Attacking Zegeta was impossible too, until someone actually finished it.
  12. That hidden enemy spawner certainly changes things. I can see how it's actually possible to bring enemies to jump off of now. Instead of jumping off them right at the top and holding right, have you tried getting several enemies to follow you back down to the other side of the spiked walls, towards the right edge of the level, and then bouncing off them from there? You can get quite a bit of height from enemies after all, so it might be enough to reach a platform if you can multiple enemies to follow you.
  13. I agree that those final platforms are most likely to be where the exit is. I still feel like we're missing something though, those platforms are pretty much impossible to reach normally. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a double-jump powerup hidden on some platform high up in the middle of nowhere.
  14. This exploit is a huge help, but actually finding the exit is still pretty tough.
  15. I've tried mailing the dev before, but never got a reply.
  16. Thanks for that video, i actually hadn't found the charge powerup, so that helps. Anyway, with the walljumping section near the end(?) of the level being so tricky, i think i'll spend some time practicing the similar walljumping section at the start of the level. As far as i know, nobody has gotten to the top of that before. The gap you have to jump isn't quite as wide as the section in the later part of the level, though. I also feel like there's something interesting in the area right after the pillars - there's a platform in the tree directly after that section, which you can jump off to reach a larger platform, which is beneath some REALLY fast spinny death balls. Judging by the shadows there's quite a few of them, too. Knowing the level design in this game, chances are they're circling a platform. If there's a double jump powerup in the first level, then i think either of those two areas would be the best bet so far.
  17. Well, you're French. Of course you'd be surprised at the idea of not surrendering at the first hint of difficulty. Anyway, i got past the towers. And past the pillars. And past the endless gauntlet of spinning spikes. And climbed the following wall of spikes, with one particular spike hidden by a tree. Turns out there's another spikey walljumping section there, and it's a doozy. Seems doable, since i managed a few of the jumps, but it requires some serious precision. I have no idea how long this level is, but it certainly doesn't end after the pillars.
  18. Nice job on getting past the towers! I've been playing the game again myself lately, and i've been struggling to get past them. Instead i try to skip a good chunk of the level by doing a sprinting super jump off of the last platform in the area with the sprint power-up, but i usually end up accidentally landing on the spikes directly after the towers whenever i try it. I also spent a bunch of time walljumping up the spike walls in the super jump area, and while it definitely seems possible to get up there, it requires a LOT of extremely precise walljumps.
  19. I do enjoy Ratalaika's easy plats, and i don't have any problems with easy plats in general, but... they're pumping these out so fast that i can't even keep up anymore.
  20. In all honesty though, Mortal Kombat should be banned for being a terrible influence on children - it might interfere with their language development by teaching them an improper way of spelling "combat".
  21. Holy shit! I loved this game. Hopefully this rerelease means that we might actually be getting a sequel
  22. I thought this was supposed to be a child-friendly gaming platform, i am deeply offended at all the violence in this games and i DEMAND that Sony changes it... or else i will get someone at Kotaku to write an EXTREMELY scathing article, maybe even with a title like "Sony Allows Offensive Content (And Here's Why That's A Bad Thing)"! Seriously though, fuckin' RIP Sony. We live in Clown World and the Switch is the #1 console for mature games now (ignoring PC, of course)
  23. Sony just keeps going further and further off the deep end. A few weeks ago i got an email from Sony, where they bragged about how they would generously give me a reward for being a Plus member. The reward was a discount coupon for socks. At this rate i'll just skip the PS5, honestly
  24. So if i change my name today, then my PSNP stuff will only be fucked for a week before unfucking itself? Guess there's no harm in changing it today then
  25. So do you guys have an ETA on how long it'll take for PSNP to be namechange-compatible, now that namechanges are finally here? I'd rather not get a namechange until i know it won't fuck up my Premium etc
