  1. 24 years I started with the NES, and I can remember playing that dual pack Duck Hunt / Mario cartridge with my sister a lot, but we didn't play that often. Eventually, my uncle and aunt introduced me to Diablo when I was 8 and from there I was hooked. I remember nothing about Diablo, but I know I had a lot of fun playing the game with them.
  2. Shiro Miyata (Forbidden Siren)
  3. Extermination
  4. From one of my favorite animes, this song has been stuck in my head forever.
  5. I got really into the monochrome aesthetic after a silent, black and white nightmare I had that freaked me out, but fascinated me at the same time. I kinda became obsessed with the style for a while. I was also really into a medieval phase during the time and loved jesters the most, so they kinda became fused at some point and monochromejester came out of it.
  6. Oh my gosh, I need these. I loved both games as a kid, I can't wait to replay them!
  7. The only way I could get Shielded by Madness to unlock was by finishing it on H.P Lovecraft difficulty while also collecting those documents. It popped during the final cutscene when Ariadne is talking about how it likes the song, but not the light. I tried multiple times on Edgar Allan Poe while doing my other runs, but it wouldn't pop on anything but H.P Lovecraft. It seems like when the developers tried to make the platinum requirement to 'finish on H.P Lovecraft difficulty' (not understanding how a platinum works), sony attached the requirement to the last trophy on the list instead.
  8. Personally, I like the changes. The matches me and my fiance get are pretty good for the most part, teammates and killers we face included. I do agree that it does feel like we're doing more than our teammates when it comes to gens and rescues oddly enough. The killers seem less tunnel/campy, and most of my teammates actually try to do the objective and usually help one another. I had a Feng and Leon go out of their way to make sure my fiance and I got out alive from a slugging/camping huntress. However, we do get the occasional weird teammates who don't seem like they quite know what's going on, as if they'd just turned the game on for the first time. The teammates seem very hit or miss right now, but the killers we face make the matches fun. Playing killer has been nothing but misery for me, though, but that's how it's always been. It loves putting me with iridescent/gold rank survivors, even though my killer rank is still in Ash due to only playing killer for trophies. Please stop, bhvr, I don't want to be here. My highest killer rank was 9 before the update, so I'm not sure why my hidden mmr thinks I belong way up there. All in all, it's mostly enjoyable on the survivor side (for me and my fiance personally). I'm sure once the system is in play for a while, things will get better for everyone. It just needs time to figure out where to put everyone. Edit: After playing survivor for 6 hours today it seems pretty good still. I was matched against players who were similar skill level to myself. I only had a couple of teammates who were clearly new, but they might've been with the other person. Killers were good, too. I was never matched against anyone who felt too easy or anything.
  9. Days Gone. I think the main problem is Deacon, he's such an unintentionally cringy character that I can't take him or the storyline seriously. Dialogue is way too over the top, too. Deacon you don't have to scream at everything.
  10. Awesome! I can't wait to replay it. πŸ˜ƒ
  11. I don't really think much about milestones; however, I had originally planned to make Song of Horror my 100th platinum. In a lapse of judgment and sleep deprivation, I started doing the mini-golf minigame in Dream Daddy since I wanted to listen to a podcast, forgetting I was at platinum 99 and it was the last trophy I needed in that game. I hadn't actually expected to finish it, but now Dream Daddy is forever my 100th platinum, lol.
  12. I think this is the first time I've seen 'Transference' and 'Rise of Insanity' on sale. Gonna have to grab those up before they go back to full price.
  13. We didn't meet through gaming, but we certainly bonded through it. We played an MMO together for years, Fiesta Online, even got married in the game, and we both started falling for each other over the years. 15 years later we're now engaged and I couldn't ask for a more awesome lady in my life. We still game daily together, but we've moved on to Overwatch and Dead by Daylight from MMOs.
  14. Yep, you can unlock the generic DLC trophies without owning the DLC, however character-specific ones (adept trophies or power-specific trophies) can't be earned unless you own that character.
  15. Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage. Darksiders or Dante's Inferno
  16. Playstation All-Stars.Battle Royale
  17. It'll be added to whichever version of the game you were playing when you unlocked the trophy. If you pop it while running the PS4 version, it will be unlocked on the PS4 list and vice versa for the PS5. All DLC trophies are available for both the PS4 and PS5 trophy lists regardless if it says PS4/PS5 Version, it only depends on which version of the game you're running on your console that determines which list it unlocks on.
  18. Any DLC you buy will also be available for the PS5 since your in-game progress is shared between the two consoles via your PSN account. So anything you do on the PS4 version will carry over to the PS5 and vice versa. πŸ™‚
  19. When it comes to physicals, I keep all of mine. I've never been able to let go of my games even after finishing them. I still have my old PS1 and 2 collections cause I can't bear to get rid of them; too many memories, you know? It's neat to not only look through your platinums but to see the physical copies of the games on your shelf and occasionally reminisce about the experience - good or bad. For digital, I delete them from my PS4 as soon as the platinum pops and then hide them in my library. It makes it a little less overbearing when I open my library for something new to play.
  20. My recommendation would be Borderlands. πŸ™‚
  21. Usually if I'm not gaming, I'm probably asleep or doing house work, but I also paragraph roleplay with my fiance on discord and write original stories / fanfiction. I like watching let's players and twitch streams, too, but I have the attention span of a gnat when I'm not using my hands, so I always end up browsing here or reddit for something to read while they end up as background noise.
  22. Working on three at the moment: Song of Horror, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet and Resident Evil: Village. The first two plats are fine, I'll finish them with time, but Village I seriously lack the motivation to do. I was never a big fan of the mercenaries mode, so it's hard to convince myself to finish the last 2 stages I need with an S rank. I keep going back to it and trying, though. I just need to put my foot down and commit to it one of these nights.
  23. Triple Triad - Final Fantasy 8 Fishing - Stardew Valley - Honestly fishing in any game. I know people tend to find them tedious or annoying, but I love them. Super Dunk - Final Fantasy 7 - I remember spending hours at the golden saucer playing this when I was a kid.) Lockpicking / Hacking - Fallout - I dunno what it is, but I find them relaxing. Especially the hacking, I always go for it. Pool Hopping / Volleyball - Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 - I just think they're fun and the series in general is fun. I wish I could play the third. Went ahead and bought Scarlet since I was reminded of it.
  24. Since it's been a while, has there been any news on whether you need to collect the documents on H.P Lovecraft mode for it to unlock? Edit - You definitely have to collect all the documents in chapter 5 on HP Lovecraft difficulty and then finish the game as PureRuby87 said. I tried to collect them on Edgar Allen Poe and got nothing, but on Lovecraft, it popped during the last cutscene. The patch didn't fix this from being tied to that difficultly, unfortunately; however I didn't mind it, it was pretty tense sometimes and I think that's how they intended it to be experienced.
