  1. Just beat this, pause buffering seems like the best way to go. You want to time hitting the inventory just as the next target pops up; that lets you figure out where to go next without panicking. Then, in one motion, you hit Circle to cancel out, tap the joystick in the right direction, Square to punch, then inventory again, and repeat. It'll take a few tries to get the timing right.

Also, don't stress, there's still a bit of RNG. You may get 5 babies in a row and that ruins the run. Don't exit early in the last few rounds, you can get from 40 to 50 points in like 4 seconds of game time.

I don't hide trophies.  I only play games I intend on playing, and if I play it, I get the Platinum or 100%.  Plus the 'H' on the profile screen looks terrible, imo.  I don't really care what other people do with their profiles.

However, I read that you can hide trophy lists for games directly on PSN.  Do they still show up here if you do?

Isn't this the only way to hide trophies? Does this site let you hide specific games/trophies separate from PSN?

I have a few games hidden because I started them by accident, or didn't enjoy right away and no longer have access to thanks to PS+ expiring. Even the Fs on my profile are games I want to go back to. Having a "1 out of X" on your profile is just as much a statement of how you play than "X out of X."

  3. No joke, I played so much Diablo II back in the day that I bet I could recreate my OG characters from scratch. @GoldenShaka No mods, and I still had a blast grinding bosses over and over for those sweet sweet drops. There was so much item duplication that an entire micro-economy sprang up with Stones of Jordan being the base currency.

Can't wait to GIEV SOJ like it's 2001 again, it's going to be very weird to play without power-leveling and without a PvP economy for the first few months.

  4. Still working as of today; one interesting catch is that the game will not reward you with the "Complete two legendary battles" challenge, but it will reward you with the "Get 100% of total sync" challenge. And since the legendary ships are now gone, you'll be unable to get all 70/70 challenges. If you care about that, you have to beat at least two of the first three legit, without the invincibility cheat.

  5. I just got one off Craigslist to play through all those old PS3 games I still had on my library. And there are still a handful of classics that didn't get re-released, and they're so cheap nowadays. If you can afford it, go for it.

    Infamous 1 & 2

    Metal Gear Solid 1-4

    Demon's Souls (if you don't have a PS5 lol)

God of War 1, 2, and Ascension

    Ico

    Prince of Persia HD

All the original Ratchet & Clank games

    Sly Cooper Collection

The PS3 not only predates the PSN store, it predates the entire concept of trophies on PSN. There are some real gems in the library you can probably get for like $5-10 each.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain- Kiefer Sutherland

Death Stranding- Norman Reedus, Lea Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, Lindsey Wagner

Call of Duty: World at War- Gary Oldman

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare- Kevin Spacey (erm...)

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare- Kit Harington, Conor McGregor (not so much an actor as a clown)

Omikron: The Nomad Soul- David Bowie

Kingdom Hearts series- many actors from Disney reprise their roles, Haley Joel Osment, Billy Zane, Christopher Lee, Hayden Panettiere, David Gallagher

Until Dawn- Rami Malek, Hayden Panettiere, Peter Stormare, Brett Dalton

    Horizon: Zero Dawn- Lance Reddick

Captain America: Super Soldier- Chris Evans, Haley Atwell, Sebastien Stan

Any game Mark Hamill is in

Off the top of my head, anyway

A lot of these have the decency to model the character after the actor, at least. Sylens looks like Lance Reddick, Sam Bridges looks like Norman Reedus. That makes sense. It's when a recognizable voice comes out of a totally different face that I can't stand.

  7. Remember that weird era where lots of video games hired actual movie and television actors to do the voice work? I'm not talking about actors who are known for their voicework; I'd say Mark Hamill is equally known for The Joker as for Luke Skywalker at this point. And obviously video games based on movies and TV shows will get the same people; of course Patrick Stewart voices Professor X and Captain Picard. I mean the ones where the cast list became a selling point for the games. Just look at this nonsense.

The Legend of Spyro - Elijah Wood, David Spade, Christina Ricci, Gary Oldman

Dishonored 1 & 2 - Vincent D'Onofrio, Rosario Dawson, Sam Rockwell, Pedro Pascal, Chloe Grace-Moretz, Susan Sarandon, the list goes on for this one

Sleeping Dogs - Mostly famous Chinese/Hong Kong actors, but they got Emma Stone at the height of her fame to record like a dozen lines! For a throwaway character!

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Ray Liotta, Dennis Hopper, Burt Reynolds, Luis Guzman, Danny Trejo, Gary Busey, and a whole lot more

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - A lot of west-coast rappers, oh, and also Samuel L Jackson because why not

Beyond Two Souls - Literally starring the faces and voices of Elliot Page and Willem Dafoe.

It's one thing to have one "regular" actor do one voice, but I feel like "our game has actual actors, not just voice actors" is a huge gimmick that always pulls me out of a game. All of these people sound like themselves, they can't disguise their voice, and I know what they look like. So as soon as I hear Ray Liotta's voice coming out of not-Ray-Liotta's face, the spell is broken.

    Anyone else?

Yea they confirmed on Twitter that Sony didn't appreciate the humor, for the record its was very poor humor. Like orchestrating and selling a black woman to be the monkey for a monkey grinder just to take a finders fee for selling her is horribly not funny. Also there is the pedophile joke where the kids get approached by a creppy man in a van that tells them he has a petting zoo inside and when the kids tell Rufus "The rules say you shouldn't go into a strangers van" he replies that rules are meant to be broken and hops into the van.

Oh wow. OH WOW. Talk about humor not translating well (I think these games are German originally).

  9. Auto-pop is unlikely; not only have they not mentioned any kind of cross-save, this isn't a free PS4 -> PS5 upgrade. They might auto-pop if you have Control: Ultimate Edition, but not if you just own the base game.

  10. I could never get the timing right on the draw attacks, so I went with an older dual swords + kusarigami build. Hit your opponent with sloth & weakness, run behind them, windstorm attack until dead, repeat. It made mincemeat of the main game, but I was getting wrecked in the DLC.

The thing about Nioh is that _so_ much of it depends on grinding and crafting the right bonuses onto your equipment. The right skills and points, with bad equipment bonuses, will do a lot less damage than you see in the YouTube videos.

  11. This definitely sounds like the trophies will auto-pop. A lot of the Hitman 1 and 2 trophies are tied to specific challenges/feats in the game, so if those carry over, the conditions for trophy popping would be met as well.

Worst case, you have to re-play the Hitman 1 and 2 levels once each so the game registers that you've already hit level 20 or whatever, that seems fine.

I don't think you will need to redeem anything, I'm not 100% sure but I think Hitman 2 didn't require you to redeem anything, if you've played H1, you got the legacy pack for free.

Redeem might be the wrong word. What I mean is, after purchasing both Hitman 1 and 2, the Legacy Pack wasn't listed as purchased on the PSN store. In order to get it without re-buying it, I had to start the download from inside Hitman 1. So even if you played Hitman 2 but no longer own it, you still may need to use Hitman 2 to load the Hitman 2 maps into Hitman 3.

Then again, it's a totally different console, and this time IOI has posted about carrying over progress, not just the missions themselves. I dunno, they make this so confusing. A lot of people are going to accidentally buy H1 and H2 twice.

  13. Assuming it works the same as before...

    - If you own Hitman 2 (and its DLC), you will be able to download the matching Hitman 2 Legacy Pack for free.

    - If you do not own Hitman 2, you will be able to purchase the Hitman 2 Legacy Pack separately.

    - There will be separate DLCs for the main Hitman 2 missions (6 standard maps + 1 sniper maps) and Hitman 2's expansion (2 standard maps + 2 sniper maps).

    - You'll likely have to redeem the free DLC from within Hitman 2, so you'll have to find that physical version again.

Oh yeah I tease my bf by saying how hot Johnny Depp is but it doesn’t affect him or he doesn’t show at least haha I do it in a funny way though

For whatever it's worth, this kind of thing messes up men's self esteem and impressions of themselves as well, even if you're saying it "as a joke." If you're having an open conversation about how you feel when he watches women on Twitch, you may want to be ready for him to share how he feels when you talk about celebrities you find hot. That's a good thing, for both of you.

I just pray that the progress carried over from Hitman 1 and 2 will auto pop the DLC trophies. I literally about to finish off Hitman 2 and do not want to replay all levels again for trophies.....

This has never been how it worked. The missions carry over, but the progress you make in each game is entirely independent, so you'll likely have to re-play each of the Hitman 2 maps within Hitman 3 to get the 100%.

That's going to add up to a _lot_ of Hitman, I'm going to wait for a while I think.
