  1. Backlog entry #487 is Eternity: The Last Unicorn.

I really wasn't going to buy anything during the unexpected weekend sale, but then I did.  This game looks rough around the edges, but I got caught up in rooting for a small developer making an RPG, as I tend to do, and added it to my cart.

Well, if I focused on cleaning my backlog and held off buying a PS5...I'd probably get the PS6 instead. xD I'm not getting one immediately, so kind of a moot point, but still.

Same.  I will not be picking up a PS5 any time soon, unless something new or exciting comes out of left field, like a revamped PS+ or something akin to what Microsoft is doing with game pass.  At that point I would have to weigh my options carefully.

Certainly not going to pay a premium for a PS5, especially since I'm afraid starting to play on it will make PS4 games look old and dated - and my (currently 1185-game long) backlog will end up untouched. But I know if there's good, available bundles, I might just go for it. At least it's PS4-backward compatible?

  2. Do you know why the trophies for Eternity The Last Unicorn are overall relatively rare? Is it buggy, or difficult, or boring, etc.?
  3. Looks like it could be darn fun and possibly challenging. Look closely and a weapon resembling a light saber makes a brief appearance.
  4. I can't find One Piece Pirate Warrior Unlimited World Red on the PS store. Can anyone cure my blindness? Never mind. I found it a second after posting.
  5. Another great looking trailer! Quite a week for indies. (Hopefully the games don't fall short of the excitement these trailers are building.)
  6. Looks like a cute, turn-based RPG.
  7. I'm interested in the One Piece Warrior games, which I thought were fighting games, but seem more like warriors kind of games: Hyrule, Dragon Quest, etc.
  8. All the makings of a worthwhile adventure!
  9. I think his expression is his regular expression, arrow or no arrow. Someone probably shot him because they were fed up with his ugly mug.
  10. Well organized indeed. If you're actively trophy hunting now, and have some tolerance for grinding, don't completely ignore old Friday the 13th. Very time consuming, but a game designed for boosting.
  11. I'm not worried about ESVI being an Xbox exclusive.  I'm not!  Nope.  Not worried.  Not at all.  Really!  I swear.  Not worried in the least...

But it won't be anyway, right?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  Please, please don't make it an exclusive.  So bummed to hear the news today.

@Charizarzar  I'm not buying another gaming system, either.  If I can't play ESVI (which I don't honestly believe will be the case) because of exclusivity, so be it.

Until Microsoft and Bethesda say otherwise, gonna hope it'll still come to PlayStation. That being said, it's clearly a long ways off, so doubt we'll hear anytime soon. I'll play it on PC if I have to.

  12. October prediction... Marvel's Spider-man Fortnite
  13. Backlog entries...

#482 Kingdoms of Amalur: Re Reckoning

    #483 Nexomon Extinction

Two titles with potentially glitchy trophies.  Egads.

  14. A bit of nostalgia is within both purchases. 😀
  15. Plat, no plat. Who cares? I'll play it all the same.
  16. Rob from Playstation Access will be thrilled at the news of this remake.
  17. Had a friend rave about Bard's Tale IV, and that price is tempting. 🤔
  18. Fine,!  I'll cancel my order of Nexomon!  No stock! No updates! No ETA!  AUGH!

Had to order from Best Buy. So much for trying to support a smaller business.

  19. Platinum #56 Hidden Through Time Hidden Expert A darn cute and entertaining 'Where's Waldo?' kind of game. Clicking on objects you're expected to find accomplishes the task, but clicking on other things such as characters and objects result in silly sounds like 'Uh' or 'Hmm' or an animal sounds or something. Clicking the pile beneath a skewered pig lights a fire, and clicking a building removes the exterior and allows for searching the interior. I had fun with it. Platinum #57 Epic Word Search Collection Quite Big Several word search games combined into one huge grid; that's this game. Seeing the entire puzzle isn't possible. You have to scroll far to the left, right, up and down to find the words. Some carry over from one grid to the next, which are separated by color. While being a unique take on the classic word search idea, I thought the only thing this approach added was frustration. One grid at a time works for me. The platinum trophy isn't difficult or time consuming, thankfully.
  20. Backlog entries...

    #478 & #479 Just Ignore Them (PS4 & Vita)

    #480 & #481 Red Bow (PS4 & Vita)

    Cross buys are great.

  21. Gorillaz, not The Monkees. I think you're correct.
  22. Not to be ungrateful, but I'd rather have the trilogy redone and released than only another III.
  23. With Temtem next year, it seems as though games heavily inspired by Pokemon are gaining momentum. After being a Pokemon fan for many years, but being disenchanted by Sun and Moon, I'm quite happy with this.
