So I see No Man's Sky has crept back into our lives again. I tried it a while back and found it laughable. Anyone who has had more positive experiences with the game want to try to convince me to give it another try?

I suppose it'd depend on why you found it laughable. I mean if you hated it solely because of the controversy and the unrealized promises at launch, you may be pleased to find the game has gotten much closer to that vision after these updates... though I'm guessing you'll still hate it on principle and I'd consider you a lost cause.
At it's worst, it was just a pretty chill space exploration game with lots of similar but different looking planets. Now it's basically a better version of that with more stuff to do.
And multiplayer.

@Dreakon13 I'm of two minds- like you said, I feel as though I should still hate it on principle as it was a shambles of a release. Now, bearing in I wasn't even looking forward to the game or buying into the hype at all so in fact I was unaffected by the release, but it was pretty shitty of the devs to make so many promises and fail to deliver on them so badly.
However, if the game is actually good and has lived up to it's vision then I would be partial to giving it another go. But if I give this game a pass on that, I'll also have to give Sea of Thieves a pass too whenever they actually bring that game up to snuff as well.

Footage from Spyro 2 (Reignited) and Darksiders 3 have dropped within hours of each other; today is a good day. Of course, the nitpickers are out in force but whatever! 2018 will go down as a pretty great year for gaming.
