  1. i only have two unattainable platinums (killzone 2 and gran turismo 5) and i don't have played them so much. so taking rid of them will be nice.
  2. i'm playing it right now and no problems.
  3. Ace Combat Infinity, i love Ace Combat saga and i've invested 290 hours for this 100%. WipEout HD Fury too. The hardest game i've played (except for Gran Turismo 5 but online trophies f**cked my plat).
  4. don't get salty bro, it's just a comment. We are talking of a content that have been made a few years ago, so i can post what i want if it's related to him.
  5. Excellent DLC but pretty annoying trophies.
  6. I bought my PS3 a long time ago, it's an ultra slim 250 gb edition. In these times, this space was enough for me. But now, i have many games and DLCs that of course will not fit on the current HDD. So, i have a new HDD. 1 TB capabilty and same hardware size. The only thing i know, is that i have to syncronize my trophies before doing this. But i have a few questions to do: -I know the unique method to change the HDD is using the backup tool that comes with the console. But does it also saves your profiles? Can i keep all what i have same on the new disk? -Does saved data still popping trophies if i play with them later? I mean, i have some uncompleted games, and i want to win the remaining trophies but i heard that copied data from another profile will not be recognized from my game, or even will disable all trophies that i've not unlocked. The fact is i do not want to play my games from zero again (and if i wish, i wouldn't have the need to do a backup). I think this question will be answered with the first one. -What can i do for copy-protected saves? Does the backup carry them? I have a bit of them and don't want to lose the progress, even when i got the platinum. -Is 1 TB a size too big for PS3? -Is better to clean the entire disk and only let the savegames for backup for a faster process? I heard that PS3 is very very slow doing this.
  7. i've noticed that two versions of Bikes are available: the add-on and the stand-alone. Are there like Freedom Cry for Assassin's Creed IV? One has his own list, and the other just shows as a DLC from the original game. Or both are the same (trophy list speaking)?
  8. Does it has too long online trophies? I don't own a ps4 but i can borrow one for a weekend and take 'em all for both DC and Bikes. This game is an exclusive that i wanted to play from the first day. Does any of the DLCs have online trophies? It looks like all are the same (win the DLC tournament or so) but i want to see an answer from someone who has an idea.
  9. Because i read in flagged games discussions that hackers can pop all of your trophies and i don't want to delete all my profile only for that shit.
  10. i've noticed that hackers on any ps3 cod can pop all of your trophies only playing online, so my question is: -Can this be boosted? -Is there a chance to get hacked? -Does the hacker pop DLC trophies too? I always do the online stuff before anything, so i'm interested on doing this first. Also, i don't have DLC so if i have all platinum trophies except this, and the hacker screws me, i will not have to worry about DLC trophies.
  11. I have both, don't look at my profile, i have more games but no time to play all of them (like most of us) both physic and digital (even i have both versions of same game, like cod mw3 or borderlands). The fact is i share the console with my brother and we have a very different taste of games, so when i want to install one, he wants another and the space was cause of many discussions we had. Also i play games that i've got the platinum already sometimes and it's a pity to have to delete them because the free space. Also there are some DLCs and patchs that have a good size amount like Payday 2, GTA V or Gran turismo. So even when i have in them physic version, the size is still being a problem.
  12. Mine's Samsung Seagate ST100LM024 1TB 5400 RPM. It cames with a notebook, but i've replaced by an SSD (WD Green 240GB).
  13. Well, i've deleted anything but the saves, then did the backup on a usb flash (1 GB). Last, putted the new disk and restored the data. But it's stuck at 88% and "1 minute remaining". If i press circle, the system will rebuild the database and all will be fine... except for the protected-copy saved games. They are missing. Should i wait a long time even when it says "1 minute remaning"? Maybe that last minute is stuck because validating the shitty saves. EDIT: i have waited almost 5 hours and the backup finally it's fully restored. All saves, included copy-protected, are back. I hope this help anyone who reads on the future. Just be patient! Looks like encrypted data tooks a lot of time to be copied. Thanks all of you again for helping!
  14. I know. I was a bit confused when you said that USB won't work, while he says that it will work in the same system. I don't understand copy-protection. Almost all games don't use that thing. I remember the Mortal Kombat Armageddon file on PS2 that has that thing and cannot be copied. So annoying...
  15. What about if another profile got plus? Will it work? I only have ps3 and i will not pay for a useless month of ps-plus only for this (because plus on ps3 is useless) so getting the 14-days free on a new account maybe works. dernop was right. Just read the link and see: Anyways, thanks for replies. As for now, i'm planning to clean the disk and do the backup on a pendrive (i guess save games will not be more than 16 GB...) then restore all on the new hdd and re-download all the other stuff. I think it's better this way, because i can play while i'm downloading. However with the backup tool i have to wait a lot, maybe more than a day... who knows. All trophies syncronized and i know all my accounts.
  16. I play very often Call of duty Modern Warfare 3 and Gran Turismo 5/6. Got the 100% of MW3, almost same for GT6 and only 40% for GT5. I love the Survival mode for MW3, also i play often with my brother or friends Gun Game mode in the U-Turn map. Tons of fun. Also i decided to plat GT6 recently, but i'm playing it since years (the server closure triggers that idea). I'm very close to get the 100%. For GT5, i've noticed that has two online (and sadly unattainable) trophies, but i play it sometimes for fun. These two racing games are pretty amazing for both driving simulator and car quantity (and quality too). Another games that i've replayed only for fun are WipEout HD Fury, GRID 2, Ace Combat Assault Horizon and MotorStorm Apocalypse.
  17. The copy-protected saves cannot be copied on a drive or even to the cloud. That's why i ask. Thanks all of you.
  18. I prefer to waste my time on playing new games than replaying already completed Obviously there are some games that are beautiful to play over and over again... that makes sense to get platinum twice. But if that platinum is pretty annoying like getting a lot of hidden things or grinding a ridiculous amount of time, then i pass.
  19. No ps3 sales? edit: i saw them, time to buy bf4. i got the dlc when they came free
  20. i got stressed for uncharted 2 & 3 dlc. i'm stressed right now for far cry 2 and dj hero 2, but i always keep in mind that i have to do this shit only one time in my life, and the trophy is mine forever. However... yeah, i was thinking about "hey, why are you boosting this trophies for MONTHS when you can do i.e god of war ascension platinum?" the answer is that i enjoy doing trophies for games that i like, so doing online trophies the fastest i can, let me have a greatest 100% on my profile. That satisfaction is the best reason for this waste of time (because yeah, kill and let others kill you over and over again it's a really waste of time). The really time-thraser are the easy platinums of games you don't like but you play only for the trophies.
  21. First at all, you don't have to worry about people's opinions. I think doing easy plats ONLY for having more and more, is useless. I love to hear that magic sound when i got a new trophy, but not necessary wasting my time in awful games. And here's when you come and say "hey, you are playing videogames. Isn't that a waste of time?" I think there's a big difference when you are playing a fantastic game and having a lot of fun, instead of getting bored rapidly only for a number on your profile. And even the waste of money can be a pain in the ass, just look at those who bough Sound Shapes on all regions only for an easy plat... However, there are some easy platinums that are fun to play, like some telltale games or life is strange. Remember this is still my opinion and you must do what you want no matter what the others think. If you enjoy doing easy plats, then don't worry. It's YOUR profile.
  22. I never started PS4 games now because i want to finish all my ps3 backlog, the reason is just what you guys say. However, i'm still enjoying them, even when i know some of them has awful graphics.
  23. I'm new on this saga, i've recently completed ACIII and loved it. But i did not understand too much the story so friends of mine told me that i need to play AC1 and Ezio Collection. I will play AC1 on PC because there's no trophies on PS3 version and has more exclusive missions. However, i've noticed that Ezio Collection has been released for PS3 and PS4. The real difference aside from the graphics, are the online trophies. Are they worth to play? I know AC2 doesn't have online trophies, but what about the others? I mean, i loved to play Uncharted 2 and 3 online even when exists the remastered without it. It is the case of Brotherhood and Revelations?
  24. I have both 100% from last year. Some trophies are fun, others boring as hell. U2: -Competitive matches will catch you most of the time; because you need 50 wins of every mode. Also, you need a couple of medals for another trophies, but those will not be a problem because you will get them in the road of the 50 wins. However, there's a last trophy that probably would be the last one, that's the pain in the ass of the 100%. You need to farm 2500 kills in any competitive mode. Fortunately you can boost this, but playing in public matches will help you a lot (yeah, people still playing this mode). Just think that if you have a 6 member team, you will need to farm 15k kills, 2,5k for everyone. For that reason, using both methods will be very useful to not getting tired in the process. With 6 people (or consoles) you can boost all competitive modes. Nobody can joins while match have started so you won't get worry about randoms. -Coop is not hard at all, maybe some trophies requires a few tries but nothing that cannot be done, even those who needs to be played on Crushing. These trophies will need some practice, however. They can be earned with 3 people, some of them with only two. U3: -Like U2, competitive matches will be a time consuming, but fortunately there's NOT a 2,5k kills, so you can relax on this one. Yeah, winning 50 times on almost every mode is required, but it can be boosted and almost all modes are pretty quickly. Another competitive medal trophies can be done in the process too. Maybe they can look too much trophies, but medals are easy to get. Unlike U2, U3 needs at least eight players to start a match, but hey! every player can use their second controller to fill a place, so it only needs 4 players with a second controller. However, a match have place for 10 players, and unlike u2 again, randoms can join the game when already started. And you CANNOT have a same console in both teams - player 1 on one, and 2 on another. So if you want to not get worried about randoms, you will need 6 players (4 of them with 2 controllers). -Grab your pants because cooperative mode is the REALLY challenge for this one, there's a lot of trophies for doing on those modes so be patient and practice a lot because you will need it. Also get two more partners that have same patient and dedication because i'm not lying when i say that trophies like overseer and invincible are very difficult. But don't worry, they are very funny, at least for me. Also there's some coop medal relationated trophies that need to be grinded, i recommend to do these when you finish all coop campaign and arena trophies because can happen that you maybe could get them while playing. -There's a new mode called "hunter arena" that is a fusion between coop and competitive. There are two trophies, two VERY PAINFUL trophies that have the worst RNG you will met. When you kill an enemy player, there's a chance to drop a "treasure". There are two long lists of treasures you need to collect, however... you can get the SAME TREASURE even when you already got it. Also, there's no way to get a specific treasure, so these trophies will be the most grinding for both games and maybe will be the last of your list. Fortunately they can be done with 2 people with 2 controllers. In a conclusion i can say that i had a lot of fun playing this, that's because i've played with friends almost all nights and got very good memorable moments with them. Maybe doing competitive will be stressing, but taking breaks like playing a REAL competitive game between your boosting team for example, will do the things more easier and funny. Uncharted 2 has 10 years from now, so don't get surprised if Naughty Dog announces their server closure. You can grind this, or only wait to get the remastered collection and get the only-offline platinums... or get the most experience playing the online. Yeah, it will not be like when released, but better later than never. PD: maybe you will find some typos or grammar errors, excuse me for that. I do not speak English in my country.
  25. Here in Argentina we buy the games more expensive than other regions, and ALSO pay extra taxes. i.e a new AAA game costs around US$ 60, but we pay it for US$72. Nobody knows why, because we MUST pay in dollars, not in pesos. Also add the 21% of the final price: that give us a total price of US$87,12, that's a 45,2% more than U.S. consumers. I will be happy if only need to pay %10, even when Canada is a country much more advanced than Argentina (what a ironic).
