  1. I love this idea! I got my Vita a couple of years ago pretty much just for the sake of playing VNs and otome games, so I'm afraid my list isn't as varies as those of others here. But I have always had the habit of buying more and more games despite not finishing them. *looks at my Steam library with over 500 games in it* Sooo... yeah, this might be a good motivator for me to actually finish some of the games I own! (Also, sorry for the lateness jumping on the bandwagon!) Here's my list, alphabetically (with some slight reordering to put sequels in proper order): √Letter - 0 of 27 - 0% 7'scarlet - 0 of 23 - 0% Amnesia: Memories - 8 of 26 - 24% Bad Apple Wars - 1 of 22 - 1% Chaos;Child - 0 of 34 - 0% Code: Realize ~ Guardian of Rebirth - 4 of 32 - 5% Code: Realize ~ Future Blessings - 5 of 32 - 7% Collar×Malice - 0 of 37 - 0% Corpse Party: Blood Drive - 0 of 38 - 0% Crypt of the NecroDancer - 0 of 42 - 0% Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc - 1 of 38 - 1% Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair - 0 of 47 - 0% Death Mark - 0 of 28 - 0% Grim Fandango Remastered - 1 of 48 - 1% * Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds - 2 of 36 - 3% ** Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms - 16 of 36 - 24% ** Home - 3 of 12 - 19% NORN9 Var Commons - 4 of 30 - 9% Period Cube: Shackles of Amadeus - 12 of 34 - 20% Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk - 1 of 36 - 1% Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly - 0 of 34 - 0% Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness - 0 of 36 - 0% Stardew Valley - 13 of 41 - 18% Steins;Gate - 1 of 42 - 1% Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs - 0 of 53 - 0% *** VA-11 Hall-A - 2 of 34 - 2% Zero Escape: The Nonary Games - 0 of 38 - 0% Zero Time Dilemma - 1 of 33 - 1% * - I will probably stick to playing this game on PC, where the controls are less clunky. ** - I have finished these games on PC, but I might also finish them on Vita. *** - I own a physical copy of the PS4 version of this game, but it still shows on my list of Vita games with trophies even though I have no access to that version of the game. Might pick up the Vita version on the cheap if it ever goes on sale, though. Gosh... Looking at this list and all those 0% games sure makes me feel like a loser, lol.
  2. Sorry for the late post on this but I wanted to point out that I actually got it just by doing a level 10 side quest in Bentbranch. Which is good, since I had all of the MSQ finished up to date at the time. Doing any quest should pop that particular achievement. For the crafting/gathering ones you just have to make/harvest an item. For the "instanced raids," I just did an unsynced run of Ifrit normal and one-shot him to get the trophy to pop. Ultimately, you just need to do something that would have made that particular trophy pop to get it to come up. For the one involving Coil, just do an unsynced run at Turn 5 (the Twintania fight). No need to do the others leading up to it - unless you don't have them unlocked/never did them before. Good luck on getting that platinum! I need to finish getting mine, as well.
  3. Got both of these in the mail today. Even better.... Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk is also pre-ordered and it comes out on my birthday. I'm so excited!! 😄
  4. To clarify, the Code Realize Collection ( Code: Realize ~Bouquet of Rainbows~ ) is going to be for PS4. However, they are also releasing Code: Realize ~Future Blessings~ on its own for the Vita. No difference between the two, other than system, but for those of us who have the original game on Vita, it's nice we're getting the sequel on that system. They also gave us a concrete release date for Bad Apple Wars on Vita, which is September 29. Three other Otomate games they've acquired for localization which were announced are 7'sCarlet, Psychedelia of the Black Butterfly, and Psychdelia of the Ashen Hawk. No idea what any of those are about. They're all slated for released sometime in 2018. Here's all the info from above:
  5. To quote myself: "The original Corpse Party I got on 3DS for the extra content. " Not going to be playing it on Vita, but I do have it.
  6. Is there a way to turn the back pad's functionality completely off, though, or do you just have to try not to accidentally touch it? (Which won't really be possible, in my case.)
  7. lol.... That was brilliant! Thanks for the much-needed laugh.
  8. Oh god... so, Memories is one of those games, huh? Someone wanted to do a Tarantino movie as a game and it didn't turn out well, lol. I'll look into Embryo, though. Sounds interesting. Thanks for the rec! And yes.... If you already have Stories, might want to wait for Kyoto Winds. I just happened to get mine with my Vita when it was given to me, because my dad wasn't going to give me a new system without a game to play on it. I picked up my copy of Tokyo Twilight Hunters for dirt cheap off Amazon, too. Not sure why no one has gotten the platinum on it. I think there may be some grinding involved, so perhaps that's turning people off from going after it? Or maybe it's a luck issue. Dunno... I might have to sit down and attempt to tackle it, though! lol.... As I said in one of my other replies, I forgot to mention that I had just ordered Steins Gate. Like... yesterday, lol. So I'll have it soon. Have you played Steins Gate 0? I've been wondering if that's different enough from the original to be worth getting, too. Looking at the back of the cases for the first two DR games, it said it uses the rear touchpad. If you can turn that part off, I'd definitely get them for the Vita.
  9. Dragon Age: Origins. Hands-down. I love that I can mod it, and that there's so many wonderful mods out there made by the fans. Very close second: Stardew Valley. I've been in love with the Harvest Moon series since Friends of Mineral Town, and as soon as I heard about SDV I got it and was hooked. It's the game on my Steam account with the highest playtime (somewhere like 130+ hours)... and now I also own it on PS4. And, finally.... I have to mention World of Warcraft. It's been a stormy relationship between the two of us, but I have been playing since 2004. I sometimes leave for a while, but I always come back. It was my first MMO, after all, and you never forget your first. Plus, I have to maintain my ranking as the #1 pet collector on my server! 😆
  10. Only three and a half more hours to go.... and then we get to buy a ton of games for cheap and eventually forget we have half of them (at least). Personally, this is the worst time of the year for me. By that, I mean that the Summer Sale always falls right around my birthday, and I have a family full of enablers. They usually get me Steam cards for my birthday, knowing there's a big sale going on, and then I buy a ton of games.... like I need any more. Here's to topping 400 games in my collection this year! So what do you guys think? Are you looking forward to taking advantage of some good deals? Any games you're hoping get a nice markdown? Discuss!
  11. I believe Chaos Child was supposed to be getting a dual release on PS4 and Vita. I need to see some more about that one before I make a final decision on it, but what little I've seen so far looks interesting. I forgot to mention Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters, too... mostly because I got the PS4 version which has extra content. But there's another one for you to check out. It has a little bit of strategy gameplay involved, too. Stories of the Shinsengumi basically got split into two parts and had six additional routes added to it for Kyoto Winds, bringing the bachelor total to a nice round dozen. By all accounts (I haven't finished it yet, myself) Kyoto Winds stops at chapter 5, but it will pick up from there with the second part that's going to be released. Which means the bulk of the actual romance is being held off until the sequel. It starts up at the very end of Kyoto Winds, though. I don't much care when two of the new characters are voiced by Mamoru Miyano and Daisuke Ono, lol. I bough it, and I'll get the second half when it comes out. I have not heard of the XBLAZE series. I mean, I've seen the name once or twice, but... I don't really know anything about it, at all. Care to share some more details? Oh yeah! I forgot I ordered a copy of Steins Gate a few days ago. It's weird, because it was cheaper picking it up for Vita than getting it on Steam. Like... WAY cheaper. Personally, I enjoyed Hatoful Boyfriend for what it is: a tongue-in-cheek parody of every otome game ever made.
  12. Sorry for bringing up this topic again after it's been a while since the last post, but I just wanted to say the main reason I have a Vita is to play VNs/otomes. A lot of them are exclusive to the system, so I'm very grateful to my father for getting me one last month as an early birthday present. That said, here's a list of my current collection: The Nonary Games (999 + Virtue's Last Reward) Zero Time Dilemma Corpse Party: Book of Shadows (off PSN Store) Corpse Party: Blood Drive Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds (and yes, I already have Stories of the Shinsengumi on PS3, too) Norn9: Var Commons Period Cube ~Shackles of Amadeus~ Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness Root Letter Sweet Fuse (off PSN Store) Collar X Malice (pre-ordered, shipping in July) Now, as for the ones I have missing from my list... The original Corpse Party I got on 3DS for the extra content. Danganronpa 1 + 2 I debated getting, but then I found out they use the rear touchpad and since I have a tic which involves tapping my fingers... Yeah, I could see that screwing me over, so I'm planning to get the PS4 version. Amnesia: Memories I bought over a year ago on Steam, though I definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't have it. I am very hopeful that we'll be getting plenty more of these games in the future for the North American market. the sequel to Kyoto Winds is most definitely a given. There have also been rumors that the Sweet School Life version of Hakuoki will be getting a localized release. *fingers crossed* I've heard that the fandisc/sequels for Code: Realize and Norn9 will be getting a localization, too, as well as Bad Apple Wars. Finally, there has been a lot of push from fans to get the sequels to Amnesia: Memories localized. And since it sold fairly well over on Steam, maybe we'll see those wishes come true. Only time will tell which other titles we might see get an English release, but don't lose hope. Some of the localizations take a year or two to finally be finished and put out for the public.
  13. I finally picked up a copy of Lollipop Chainsaw the other day. I am very slowly crossing off the titles on my PS3 wish list, and getting closer to finishing it.
  14. I will agree with those first two if they take a few mods for the PC version from the Nexus and Bioware sites and somehow work them into the games. At the very least, they need the fan-made patch for Dragon Age II which fixes it so Warden Alistair remembers your Warden is his freakin' girlfriend in his dialogue. (Because Bioware couldn't be assed to ever do it, so the fans had to do it for them.)
  15. Haha, I just got lucky, really... I was collecting them right around the time GameStop was getting rid of their PS2 games, so I managed to swipe them up. My mother actually got me Kuon while on a business trip because she knew I had been looking for it for years and happened to see it while browsing a store during a break between meetings. Be happy you didn't get to Night 3 of the first one. The Family Master gave me so much trouble when I first played the game that I literally set it aside for a few months out of pure frustration. I haven't played Corpse Party yet, myself, but it's on my list of games I really want to play. Debating between getting it on PC, Vita, or 3DS, though. Probably going to go with 3DS version, because I heard it's got extra scenes added to it. I actually have no plans to get a Switch. I haven't seen any games I just can't live without that are exclusive to the system. Heck, when the 360 and Xbone came out, each of those systems had maybe one or two games exclusive to them that I really, really wanted to play. And now... I have them all. Some on Steam, and one which got a Director's Cut that was exclusive to PS3 (go figure, lol). Nintendo's own properties don't thrill me much these days, so unless they come out with something I absolutely cannot live without that is definitely going to be exclusive to the system forever, I likely won't ever get one. Of course, the only reason I got a Wii in the first place was so I could import Fatal Frame IV after the fan-made English patch was released, so... we'll see. I got the Wii U mostly for Fatal Frame V and I still haven't even downloaded it (and I only own, like, four games total for it). Both consoles are pretty much gathering dust, right now, though I still play my 3DS about every other day. And to all the rest, thank you so much for the warm welcome! 😀
