  1. Which was my earlier point in this topic too. In the light of all the shit in the gaming industry and Sony in particular: if the censoring of some (alledgedly underage) titty is the hill you want to die on, then you probably need to sort yourself out for a bit.
  2. This is like screaming to not let Michael Jackson die. You would need to dig up his corpse first.
  3. I too am now playing it because of the challenges potentially going down soon. The game has its issues. I do not like the combat a lot, it feels clunky at times. Using the X button for pretty much every action was not a very good decision. I keep having to drop a melee weapon or move a fuel can out of the way to pick up loot for example. The driving is hard to control. The glitches are numerous, And despite all that, I am still enjoying the hell out of it!
  4. Last year I got 55th place in the Xonotic Defrag World Championship. That's about it.
  5. Yep, as anyone who has done some work on "customer service" will know, this has the "we are not gonna care or do anything but we pretend to take you seriously so you will hopefully buy our next product" all over it.
  6. To everyone all of a sudden shouting "1984!" about this: What the hell were you doing trusting closed source proprietary voice chat software in the first place?
  7. You could very well be right. Or you could be wrong. I see no reason to risk it. It's only a couple of hours of playtime to unlock 3 crews and rake in the points every day without any trouble.
  8. I am making sure to do some different things that should have no consequences for my progress but should trigger a save anyway. Like going out of and returning to a stronghold with fast travel and only quitting to the menu a couple of second after the "Saving..." notification disappears. Hopefully it works, but if it does not then oh well. I am enjoying the game tremendously anyway, despite its glitches.
  9. Do games count where my interest in them expired? Seriously, because of what bZytHuM- writes I am hesitant to announce a particular game's code will not work anymore. I only have experience with "VIP" passes for online play, and results vary wildly even for the same developer. I have succesfully redeemed a code for F1 2012 on PS3 even though it said on the card it should have been expired a long time ago, for others I was not so lucky. Maybe that's because they expired, but more likely someone else already used them. But if I say in a blanket statement "online codes for game X do not work anymore" because of that, it may cause other people to not even try at all.
  10. T Leaving the stronghold could definitely be a trigger for it. I see this a lot too and use the same method that you described (fast travel). Last weekend I had a storm glitch on me. Lightning continued when the storm had already gone away. Fun stuff!
  11. That can not really be the selling argument. Having levels higher than 100 was not relevant for a long time either, but still this site did it anyway to improve the experience of a large amount of users who were > 100 on PSN itself. Rarity is also a different thing from how it is on PSN and as a result it's more meaningful. We should do what works for us I guess. I understand that they want to bring more positive re-enforcement into the trophy system. As it was, the gaps between the levels were too large. I would have preferred something that did not break the levels that we had. Maybe a system of intermediate steps with additional rewards should have been incorporated instead. Anyway, I do agree that there is nothing we can do about it and moving on is the only sensible option. It is what it is.
  12. Because the vast majority of games have plots and acting that never make it above that of a B-movie and when transferred to the big screen that becomes painfully obvious.
  13. When they added loot boxes, I did not stand up because I love trophies too much. When they added microtransactions, I did not stand up because I love trophies too much. When they made microtransactions pay to win, I did not stand up because I love trophies too much. When they removed games from the store without any warning, I did not stand up because I love my trophies too much. When they told me about excessive crunch in the gaming industry, I did not stand up because I love my trophies too much. When they dropped Vita support faster than the console was released, I did not stand up because I love my trophies too much. When they stopped support of a game I bought after only a couple of weeks, I did not stand up because I love my trophies too much. When they made playing online a paid service without a valid reason other than more profit, I did not stand up because I love my trophies too much. When they were so negligent in regards to PSN security that it disrupted online play for weeks on end, I did not stand up because I love my trophies too much. When they covered up some seemingly underage titty in a handful of games, I... had a good word with myself to sort my fucking priorities out.
  14. It's a little better concerning the cap, but there is still a cap in this new system and a lot of people from the top of the leaderboards will reach it now without doing anything. They could have simply increased the max level to 999 instead of changing the points needed as well. This change is like saying: "I will pay you in cents instead of dollars from now on. You will not have more money, but at least the number will be higher.". My idea would have been: gueesstimate the number of games for PS5 and PS6 and how many trophy points that would be. Add the total number of trophy points for past consoles with trophy support. Maybe split by region and average those numbers out. There, that's your level 999. It would have been arbitrary, but it would be closer to something that would make some sense. Also, there should have been a level 1000 of course. Why the hell stop at 999....?
  15. Holy heck, there is a dash move. No wonder some levels were giving me trouble... Yeah, that level becomes pretty easy that way. All in all a pretty fun game and definitely challenging at times.
  16. I got it by only using the pistol so I never switched weapons at all. Use melee and be accurate on the shots you take, it works wonders for your accuracy bonus. And then you only need to reload once, while going up the stairs (when it hurts the least). In more detail: In the first area (so before you get into the little building) just reload the checkpoint on a big mistake. A mistake in or after the small building, always complete the run to learn the latter part of the course too. In that first part use two shots on the first three targets and in case you fail, just reload the checkpoint. You can easily melee two enemies in this first part: the one who is about half way on the right and the one in the doorway. Melee works wonders for your accuracy and it's far easier than lining shots up. The rest of them in this first area I just lined up the shots nicely to have 1 shot 1 kill. If you miss a lot here: take a little more time to aim. The bit with two enemies at the top and three at the bottom, keep walking with normal speed and work the whole building right-bottom, right-top, left-top and middle bottom. By the time you kill the fourth enemy, you will be close to the door for a melee on the fifth guy. Inside the little building I just went with two or three shots depending on if I managed to line up the two targets on the right. If you did well up to now, you only have to reload the pistol for the first time while going up the stairs. Melee this guy and line up the four targets here to use two shots like you see in most videos. If that does not work, just use the shots you need. But do not panic and just keep going. When dropping down, just do whatever works for you. Lining up shots can be tough, but you can use melee here too. It's a little trickier here because some targets are to the left and right of your ideal line, so you may end up stabbing the air. Pistol is safer and you will have plenty rounds left anyway. The last two guys should definitely be a 1-shot-2-kill deal though. I am not a very good gamer at all, but the above method was relatively painless for me.
  17. Apparently the game has a replay feature though.
  18. I am confident that the PS5 will finally launch us out of the PS2 era.
  19. /me glances at his stack of unplayed PS3 games. I will be alright.
  20. I'm still on the fence. Will it have autorow?
  21. I have played through this game at least five times on different consoles and difficulties. I have never paid any real attention to the story. The rocket launching from the sub looks cool and I enjoy killing the hundreds of plainclothes KGB agents in the airport every time. That will teach those f'king commies! That's all I know.
  22. Welcome new user! We would like to you know that boosting topics are not allowed here. Except for when they arbitrarily are. Oh, and we now have warning points lined up for you when you get it wrong. Good luck and have fun!
  23. And people who remember they still have a box of PS3 games in the attic whenever new PS5 news arrives. Bless them. for my physical collection is a-growin'.
  24. How this would work, I don't even. Step 1: Complete Ratalaika game to 100% in 5 minutes Step 2: ??? Step 3: RANK OVER 9000 Surely number of games on profile should have some factor in this as well?
  25. It's a butt ugly boring unfunny unplayable piece of crap franchise killer. But if you feel otherwise, that's fine as well.
