A-Z Family: A-Z Platinum Club, A-Z Platinum Title Trophy Club, A-Z Non Plat Club Introduction I know what you're thinking; "Not another A-Z thread!" and yes, there's a few out there, but none really fit what I was looking for. As a casual hunter, I play a lot of games that I cannot or do not want to platinum. Likewise, there's games that I cannot or do not want to 100%. This really limits me in the other challenges so I don't wanna join them knowing that I probably won't be able to complete the challenge. So, I decided to make my own version of the A-Z challenge for the more casual of hunters, like myself. I hope you'll join me and have fun doing it c: The Code For a game to qualify for this challenge, you must earn at least four trophies from that game. Previously started games are okay, but please only choose games you haven't finished as of joining this challenge. "Finished" can mean either completing the story or getting the plat/100%. It's entirely up to you. If an official title starts with "The" then it would fall under T rather than the next word. Any questions, concerns, or comments - feel free to post 'em! This is mine: Not super happy about my patronus because I wanted something cooler like a dragon or a snake or maybe a tiger, but it is what it is lol I had another account long ago that I can't remember and it was a... stout? or some kind of ferret, I think. Ah, I wish I still had that one! I'd love to see everyone else's results!

Today I Learned... is a pretty simple game. You just post something you learned today! It could be a life lesson, a random fact, a new game mechanic, anything! As humans, we are constantly learning new things, sometimes unexpectedly, and I thought it would be fun to share that with others ^-^)/ I'll start it off with an interesting fact I learned today. Today I Learned... that orcas are bullying great white sharks and making them flee their hunting area. This is because they - somehow - learned that a great white's liver is full of nutrients. This is messing up the ecosystem and has researchers fascinated! You can read more from this article. It was quite fascinating for me which is rare because I usually just skim over news articles haha Then again, I've always preferred the animal kingdom over the human one. Introduction Hello and welcome to my tiny corner of the forum c: I figured with 2023 right around the corner, I'd make this thread to keep track of what I accomplished in 2022 and what I hope to accomplish in 2023. I'm not very good at this, so I'm not sure what to say or how to make this thread as fabulous as the others that are posted here, but I'll do my best! What I hope to accomplish with this thread is to actually keep up with gaming with this year and FINALLY get rid of at least some of my backlog. There's so many amazing games just sitting in my library, either untouched or completely forgotten about and, quite frankly, they deserve better. I want to do game reviews, too, but my reviews are absolute shit lmao Usually just a paragraph or two detailing my thoughts about said game. I usually feel bad posting about stuff because it feels like I'm being annoying to keep bumping my own thread, but I want to make this like a book of my journey through gaming, you know? Finish SpongBob Battle for Bikini Bottom. Finish Stories: The Path of Destinies. Get more trophies for Team Sonic Racing. Get all trophies for Starlit KART Racing. Start Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Buy and finish Modern Warfare II. Buy and plat Catlateral Damage Remeowstered. Finish Horizon Zero Dawn. Start a playthrough of GTA 5 and go for the plat? Finish Bully. A lot of people will say that you can be born with the skills needed to be a good gamer and a lot of people will disagree and say that anyone can learn the skills needed. Me? I think it's a bit of both. Some people are born with great reflexes, their minds can take in information quicker and they can learn the strategy needed to complete a game quicker. I'm a terrible gamer. My reflexes are ass, I freeze up whenever I get into a boss fight or I'm surrounded by enemies, and it takes me AGES to learn and memorize anything. It sucks because I love gaming and I also enjoy trophy hunting, but if I focus on trying to keep up with those around me, I'll just be left depressed and covered in dust. I've learned to play games at my own pace. While I would LOVE to be able to play games like the Souls Born games and platinum everything I play, I know it won't happen. I'm content to just play games on the easiest difficulty and earn what trophies I can.

Not that I need another game but For a casual player, would you say this game is difficult? Is there difficulty settings?

Hm, I don't suppose it'll be like the movies? Because you're the "chosen one" and did a bunch of stuff only you can do, you get extra points that makes your house win at the end lol

Yeah, I like trophies that make you experience parts of a game you might otherwise miss or skip over, personally.

Shoulda been like "master wizard" or "hogwarts legacy" or "hogwarts master." Missed opportunity!

I mean, I doubt you're gonna find answers here. Most of us don't have our shit together either lol I think it was @Infected Elite who said it but the only real way you're gonna get help is to seek counseling with a professional, not a bunch of randos online. Most will troll you, some will offer advice that probably won't help, and others just won't care. It's harsh, but that's the internet. A therapist or counselor can give you real advice and can help you both recognize the problems and give you the tools to help you overcome them. Whatever you decide, I hope you can both figure things out and become a stronger couple. Good luck, man.

Well, first off, I think you're worrying too much about keeping up with others. Games should be played because you enjoy them, not because you want trophies in order to keep up with others. Everyone is different, we all play and earn trophies at our own pace. Trying to keep up with others, especially the more hardcore people, will only drive you insane. I can relate to the backlog, though. I have sooo many games in my backlog that I want to and need to finish or start, but I always end up doing other stuff or playing games that I've already "beaten." I haven't done anything this week except play a steam multiplayer game lol I feel bad about not working on my backlog, but I'm also having fun with the steam game so am I really losing out? I can relate about your partner, too, but in a different way. I don't have a lot of people in my life, so I want to share my love of games with my mom. She doesn't like games at all, but she sometimes promises to play with or watch me play. Spoiler: she never does lol I'm not qualified to give relationship advice of any degree, but if she keeps saying she wants to play with you or watch you play but she never does, personally I'd just go for it and play without her. You could always record your gameplay if she really wants to see it, but constantly waiting for someone else just to play a game is honestly terrible and, after a while, it just becomes ridiculous. It's easy to say they want to watch or play with you, but if they never actually make the effort, you gotta wonder if they really want to. TL;DR: Stop worrying about what others are doing or how many trophies they are earning and just play the games you want when you want and have fun

They're a goldfish of doom, apparently, and I really hope they don't get stuck in a goldfish bag, sold and eaten without anyone being the wiser. They definitely wouldn't be the snack that smiles back.

Saint's Trophy - All Miracles Obtained [DEMON'S SOULS] This game looks hard, though I don't actually know anything about it, plus collectible trophies can be a pain in the butt, especially in a hard game. Sooo... I'll give this an 8.5/10!
