Man, I love Luffy sometimes.
Frankie: "Tom's brother actually, his names Den and he's doing the re-coating"
Luffy: "Oh, then why didn't you just say so? He lives in the Den and he's re-coating your brother for ya huh?"
😂

Saints Row 3 just had to be one of them games where you can't use your PS4 controller.
It feels so weird using a PS3 controller again after using a 4 for so long.
-
Loving everything about Dissidia beta. Now if I was only good at the damn game.

#12 Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.. Takes a bit longer than the first game but still enjoyable. Grinding levels and collecting cards were by far the most time consuming thing otherwise everyone would of been over pretty quickly. I'm ready for you Kingdom Hearts 2!

@LightningCharm Thanks! It's not too bad. Just takes an unnecessary amount of time to do really pointless stuff.
I hope so. I've made my main playthrough on Critical. So far so good.

To all of you Chain of Memories experts out there. Does the Random Joker card from Sora's playthrough mean Riku doesn't have to pick it up as well? Or does he? Have a feeling it's going to take a while if Riku has to also.

I tell ya, the power of these status updates. Even though I didn't really complain I go and get it anyway. You were right though @madbuk Riku did need one himself, so thanks for that.

Platinum #11: Kingdom Hearts (PS4) Too many good memories reliving that game. An absolute must for any fans of Final Fantasy/Disney/JRPGs. 1 down 5 to go.

@LightningCharm Thanks a lot
@PooPooBlast Yeah, I've got it around somewhere, I'll jump on it at some point in the future. I don't mind Zombies games I do love Resident Evil, I've seen Dying Light and that's something I want to play for sure. It looks really good. Heard they were releasing a battle royale for it should be interesting.
@Ala-Arska Thanks! On chain of memories at the minute and it's a little weird but enjoying it.

So I'm done with Synthesis list already on Kingdom Hearts. Most of the synth guide says most drops are around 30% BUT I'm actually convinced the drop rates on the PS4 version are like 80%. Literally didn't struggle with any of them and they all dropped within the first 3 attempts.
Oh well. On to Hades Cup.
-
I think on the PS4 version, the only thing I did struggle with was trying to get that damn shield to drop. But I do agree in that it seemed to be increased or something like that, able to get things more easily (though I still need to go back and finish off getting the rare heartless to drop more things for more items to create, just being lazy about it is all
).

Finally finished a playthrough of Kingdom Hearts without changing equipment. Can't tell you how happy I am now that I'm able to change my Keyblade.
Time for some synthesis grinding. 😭

Hope everyone has a great 2018. Get them goals finished, set some new ones and most importantly enjoy it!

So I'm starting Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 collection tomorrow and before I start I want to know the absolute order I should play them. In terms of story. I only ever played the original and KH2. So the rest are all new to me.
I know it can be a little complicated, so I just want the best order to follow along with things.

Well, if you take them as they are, you might like them. If you come in with expectations, you probably will walk away dissapointed. I myself was hated the direction 358/2 days took, and the numerous opportunities it wasted. Heck, I wasn't even a fan of the basic premise. BBS fared a bit better for me, but like I mentioned, it felt so disconnected from the first game that I wondered why it was even a prequel at all, instead of like an alt-universe thing. CoM is certainly the strongest in terms of narrative and actually bridging KH1 and 2 together. Coded...... I actually didn't even go through that one, but I haven't heard many good things about it.

You mean BBS, COM, 358/2 and Re:coded? Well... First off they are not spinoff... BBS is the prequel... CoM is sequel of KH1... 358/2 took place between end of CoM and KH2 and re:coded happens after KH2 and before Dream Drop Distance...pretty stupid IMO to only put numbers on games initially released on Consoles...anywayy.. If you want to know the entire plot, you have to play them all(well maybe except re:coded which is like a filler and 358/2 will make you know more in characters you have/will meet)
In terms of gameplay.. It really depends on you.. You will either love them or hate them *cough* CoM(I am the very few that loved it). They changed a lot in terms of gameplay for the "spin offs". CoM lets you compose a deck of commands. BBS has KH1/2 gameplay + let you pick commands + shotlock... I guess I'll skip re;coded and 358 gameplay.

Platinum #10 - Final Fantasy IX. Not bad for milestones this one. It's my 10th platinum. The platinum happened to be my 500th trophy (milestone) I promise it wasn't planned.
Also, I got 6th on the fastest leaderboards. It's my 2nd UR platinum also. So all in all, it's been a good game for me.
Maybe the Kingdom Hearts collection next for me!

@Ala-Arska Easily one of the best games ever created. Has a bit of everything.
Thank you,it's funny how everything just comes back to you after not playing for so long knowing where everything is and that blasted jump rope along with the kills.
Well and truly had us off there!

If I don't post again before Christmas. I hope everyone on here has a great next few days. Hope you all keep your bellies full of food and laughter. Of course, keep your self stocked with alcohol.
Merry Christmas everyone. Here's to 2018 and making more friends on here.

I achieved Hail to the King yesterday then I check the rarity and it's pretty high! Is the Skip rope just easy or am I rubbish at it?

Honestly, I would only use that section if you did have a turbo controller (it would probably take longer than 20 hours doing it manually, you also can't save your game there). The main place I used to grind the kills was on the Lost Continent (the snowy one), I also maxed everyone's levels/skills in the process.
-
I found that the same guy who released the skipping rope trick. Released a very basic one where it basically spams X for you. So a turbo controller isn't necessary. So I'm going to get to that section and then just use that method and see what happens.
Guess we'll find out tomorrow at some point then. Just need to get to that part soon.

Had to buy the Kindgom Hearts 1.5+2.5 for that price! Looking forward to revisiting a classic after the classic I'm playing now!

Platinum #9; Dishonored 2. Managed to finish most of the High Chaos playthrough this afternoon & finish the no powers playthrough which was ridiculous. Managed to complete that mode in 1hour28 minutes. I even took screenshots of each mission completion time just incase someone decides to report me.
All serious, once you know where you're going you can literally run through the whole game. Literally just running.

Alright have fun! I'm tackling ffxv at the moment
(Being blasphemous in that I'm only going to play this one
. No seriously im extremely overwhelmed with the amount of FF games out there and I thought to myself the best game to start at and end is FFXV given it's not connected to any other FF game as far as I know).
-
Nope, no Final Fantasy games are connected besides 13s trilogy. So I guess it doesn't really matter where you start honestly. I've yet to play it, I'm just waiting for a season pass sale and I'll be all over it.
You should give the older ones a chance. 7,9,10 are on PS4 you might actually like them. Then 8 when/if it's released. Then again I'm biased, I'm a sucker for a good JRPG.

First playthrough of Dishonored 2 done. A little underwhelming in terms of story, gameplay is pretty strong (for me atleast) but the story just seemed really weak. What made Delilah such a big enemy from the first games DLC and the entirety of this game? Like she literally does nothing but paint. I understand her story I just don't understand why people blindly followed her or why she was deemed strong etc.

Very much so, I was in Dishonored overdrive anyway from the previous two I just played. So moving around was pretty much a piece of cake. The world's bigger than the first one but that probably what makes it easier to navigate without getting seen. That and obviously the powers make it a cakewalk.
Just after the first story which was good in my eyes, the second doesn't cut it for me. Gameplay though was pretty good. Although pretty much the same as the first just a lot more fluid and the powers have different variants.

Platinum #7/8; Finally done the double stack of Dishonored.. definitely couldn't do it a third time. On a burnout but will start playing Dishonored 2 as soon as I've got over it!
-
Goodbye Dunwall city trials my friend, I've not only conquered you once BUT twice. This Dishonored stack is coming along nicely! Easy pickings from this point.
-
Wow, Oil Drop is actually solid to 3 stars in Dishonored. Literally done it in 3 tries on the PS4 version but just seems broken for the PS3.
-
Attempting a stealth run on Dishonored probably wasn't the best idea to have after pulling an all-nighter. 😂

Yeah, that's the bad thing, you could literally run around like a mentalist scout the areas and then just reload and take specific route.
They don't even have to get rid of it completely, just limit to a few saves, that would be okay.
Guess all we can do is wait and see! I hope someone pulls a Wolf 2 on a stealth game, that would be pretty intense, maybe a get seen have to restart kind of thing.
