  1. You can never beat some Billy Joel
  2. It depends on how much you're willing to put into grinding the game. If you don't want to play much of the online, then go for it (though I'm not sure If it is actually worth it.) But one of the recent updates made the online a fair bit easier to rank up - the collector role is a godsend for grinding the online, so I'd say don't go for boost and just collect stuff.
  3. Seems to be working now. There was an update to the game today, but the game still wasn't working. Now that I've deleted the game it's redownloading all 48gb, rather than just 10. Looks like it is working then.
  4. I decided to pre-order this game. I had never played the games before, but I love the show and I had watched a playthrough of the games on YT, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Honestly, from what I've played so far, I'd give it a hard recommend, its honestly GOTY material so far. The menus are beautiful, and the endless black screens are some of the greatest I've seen in years.
  5. The way I did it was, as soon as the timer hits the third red light. Tap x and immediately take your finger off the button, then immediately tap x again for the same length of time. Then hold x and by this time you should see the boost bar full just around the same time the race starts. (It stays at max for about a second). If this doesn't work, and if you're too late, then try and do the same process just before the third red light. If you're too early, then try experimenting with how much time you can leave between the second tap of x and the third x (holding). Or even start just after the third light turns red. It seems that the first two x presses have to be a quick tap, and the third one has to be held in. Doing it this way I've managed to get it pretty consistently on the time trials. I know I haven't explained this very well, so if you need anything explained further just ask.
  6. I imagine it would make the time trials more difficult, however, if you're solely going for the trophies. Then you can earn 100% game completion on an easier difficulty, and then only complete the 16 main races on Hard and defeat Oxide to get the trophy. Depends on what you're going for.
  7. According to Ps store, the DLC is only free until July 8th 06:59:59 (UTC) or 11:59:59 (PDT).
  8. This is probably a stupid question, but is it even available in the UK? No shops seem to have it, the only place I can find any information on buying the game is borderlands official site. On the site, the only countries It allows you to select is America, Mexico, and Canada. Furthermore, although I live in the UK, I've tried selecting PS4, USA, and 2Ks own store l (when you see the selectable options you'll know what I mean. It then takes me to another page where the only option I can select to purchase on is PC. There seems to be no option to purchase in the UK...
  9. Yeh it's weird. On the PS4, if you're looking for the PS4 version of Uncharted 1, 2 or 3, you can only find them under the Nathan Drake Collection. On psnprofiles, however, they are listed as separate games. Overall it won't affect anything though.
  10. I could be wrong, but whilst there are two art copies, they seem to be the same version. My friend, who got the game upon release, had an art cover that was different than I got when I bought it in December 2017. I borrowed it from him a few months before I bought it, and my trophy progress continued, it didn't start a new list. I don't know if the art cover depends on when you bought it, like that specific cover was a limited edition or was only available for preorders. As for the trophy list, they are all under the Nathan drake collection, but within that there are 3 "sub"lists, one for each game, and each game has it's own platinum trophy.
  11. If you've got a disc version of the game, delete the game, turn off your internet, and then put the disc back in. It will only be able to download the original version of the game. However, if you want to put your internet back on will playing, I believe you can just go to downloads and pause the updates. If you have a digital version then I don't believe you can revert back to the original version.
  12. These are January's PS plus games; PS4 - Steep -Portal Knights PS3- Zone of The Enders HD Collection -Amplitude PS Vita- Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion - Super Mutant Alien Assault. The month doesn't seem too impressive, although Steep seems alright. Does anyone know if that game is fun?
  13. Only one thing you can do;
  14. 2789 Hours over 87 games. 2034 Trophies earned (actually 2107 but I guess it's not super up-to-date) GTA V- 735 Hours Uncharted 4- 250 Hours Borderlands: The Handsome Coll...- 237 Hours Genuinely surprised I've spent that much time in GTA V. https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/explore/ps4/my-ps4-life/my-ps4-life-video/?psid=WgTXFtN0wX
  15. Oh sorry, I wasn't sure if they were only applied by using a code or if it was automatic. Let's just hope they don't end up resetting everyone.
  16. I don't foresee rockstar resetting stats. The other day they said "We hope that all player progress during this early period of the Beta will be able to remain intact long term,". However, just in case they do reset the stats, I would save the boost for when the full online is released.
  17. The beta will arrive tomorrow for some. If you bought the ultimate edition, you can play the beta tomorrow. If you bought the standard edition and played it sometime between October 26th and October 30th, you can play it on Thursday. If you played it anytime after that, it opens on Friday, 30th November. This article explains it better; https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.theverge.com/platform/amp/2018/11/26/18112314/red-dead-redemption-2-online-beta-release-date-ps4-xbox
  18. You can, there is another topic where someone says they have earned some trophies, and by looking at their profile, you can.

  20. Yeh, that seems to be when they start giving out requests. I was only able to get a hunting mission from Uncle (I think) after that happened.
  21. Pretty sure they unlock you cheats. Some cheats don't need the purchase of newspapers, but others do.
  22. The YouTube Channel PlayStation Music has recently published multiple videos with music from the Last of Us part HI, and in the description of all of them, say "Music from The Last of Us Part II (2019) published by Sony Interactive Entertainment." According to GameRant, this confirms the anticipated sequel to The Last of Us will arrive next year. Obviously this has to be taken with a large grain of salt, but, GameRant also says "For those doubting the authenticity of the date, it’s worth mentioning that this is the official PlayStation music account–not a knockoff." So, what do you guys think? Is it confirmation of the year The Last of Us part II releases? Or is it just an accident? 23. I'd have to disagree. The way I see it, the only real friend Max had was Chloe. Letting Chloe die would result in Max being a nobody with no friends. Idk, just when I played the game, I felt that most people were rude to Max in Arcadia Bay.
  24. Well, if they're bringing out the multiplayer a while after the main game is released, they might be put the MP trophies in a dlc pack, so we won't need them to plat it. Or they'll have multiplayer trophies in from the start and make us wait a few weeks before we can plat it.
  25. I would have thought IGN would be given a higher score than 8.7, considering Insomniac Games apparently removed some water from the puddles...
