  1. I personally was able to earn the platinum without encountering any glitches, but can't speak for anyone else. Just be aware that there is a cheat code that unlocks everything and also disables trophies, so If you use the cheat code you have to delete your save and start over. It can be a small grind to unlock all costumes/play X number of matches, but the rest of the trophies can be earned in a custom lobby that trivializes them. Let me know if you want more specific details.
  2. Dang, thanks for the info. I was planning on saving the picnic with Mari as my final trophy so I would definitely have run into this problem if it weren't for your warning. It really makes me wonder if there is any reason to lock a save file like this. It seems like it serves no purpose other than to mess with the player. Anyways, thank you for your sacrifice in finding this out and hopefully your final playthrough will go smoothly. Good luck!
  3. Overall this list seems great and looks like it has a lot less missables than the steam version. I plan on making it my 50th plat as it is one of my all time favorite games! I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a charming (yet dark) story with great characters!
  4. First off, I would like to thank the creator of this event for making it because mental health is super important and something I'm passionate about. I'm currently going to school for a psychology degree so I can help others suffering from mental illness in the future. Anyways, the game I'd like to submit is Persona 5 Royal. I'll be focusing on one specific character in the game, Futaba Sakura, so the following has spoilers for her character arc.
  5. I would like to join as well!
  6. You did a great job explaining it here and like I said earlier, the KH story is by no means impossible to understand. However, we have to remember that we're both veterans of the series who have already taken the time to understand it. For a newcomer it's all a lot more daunting, especially with so many moving parts such as how multiple characters jump through time. Really, I think we're both in agreement and we just have different definitions of what makes a story 'messy'.
  7. Hi, Kingdom Hearts fan here who has played all the games and completely understands the story. The story IS a mess. 3D made the whole thing unnecessarily conviluted with its complex time travel. Any time something doesn't make sense the game just says "because time travel" and then you just have to think about it hard enough until it makes sense. Kingdom Hearts has some amazing emotional story moments, and it IS understandable if you put the work into understanding it, but it is undoubtedly a mess.
  8. As far as I know there isn't a way to sort by psn rarity. However I find that psnprofiles rarity more accurately portrays how difficult a trophy is.
  9. I don't think that makes you a retired trophy hunter. I play games in the same way you described. I only platinum games I thoroughly enjoy (with the exception of telltale batman), and there are plenty of games I enjoy but probably won't platinum (Nier Replicant, Persona 5). If you're still intentionally earning trophies, you're still a trophy hunter. Completion percentages and platinum counts are irrelevant, at least in my opinion.
  10. Hollow Knight, the platinum is very challenging yet rewarding once you get it. Plus there's always the invincibility glitch if the pantheons are too intimidating
  11. As I was playing this game, I noticed the platinum name is 'Party like it's 2024'. So I plan on waiting until January 1st 2024 before I complete everything. Part of the reason I made this post is as a reminder so I don't forget lol
