  1. First update here, my bad. Finished all DLC on Kingdoms of Amalur, and added two new PS3 games (just can't stay away lol) Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Dead Space 2
  2. That is odd, got this when playing through 'shared story' and doing an all 'heart' decision run. It popped at the very end of the game with only Andrew and John being alive. Choose to intervene in the trial as John and the trophy dinged. Since I was playing with a partner I do not know what he chose during different parts of the story but I do know it is possible in an all hearts run.
  3. I will take a jump and join this - though my track record for completing events like this is pretty low lol Hopefully I can complete a few of these. The only PS5 game I have pre-ordered right now is Miles Morales. Already Started: Not Started: PSN:
  4. Trying to go through the game and currently before the third reality after the first boss. The second flashback tape for Crash Aerial Direction (I think). I cannot figureout how to break the boxes without blowing myself up with the nitros. Does anyone have any tips for a noob? Love this game, nice and challenging. My only complaint so far is the load times. Record so far is: 6% (I think) 2/4 colored gems 22 clear gems (only done 5 levels) 5/38 Nsanely perfect relics 1/21 flashback relic
  5. On the tab when you start a new post, in the second section the fifth item looks like an 'eye' Once you click that, it does another window (a spoiler tag) within your post that hides everything until you click on it. -Edit, my bad I saw you already did that >.> I just use several spoiler tags (like I edited my post) I did not know you can make it so that everything is hidden by default lol Also, I've sat on Dead Space for years, just never got back around to it. Love BioShock, and if I can get through that, then Dead Space should be a walk in the park >.>' Batman: Arkham Asylum is one of my proudest plats because of the combat challenges, Shock and Awe Extreme made me rage quit so many times. If you can get the combat down, you can definitely get that plat. Good luck on your list!
  6. Please sign me up, love trying these events PSN Name: BlazzingWind -Current list, if I manage to complete this I will add onto it as time permits Edit: Started working again on Catherine: Full Body, a power surge took out my progress last night and trying again today
  7. As someone that has never played God Eater and stayed away from the Demon Souls games because of the perceived difficulty, I can honeatly say this is an aweaome game. I found the artstyle decent, gameplay smooth yet difficult, and a true to form anime storyline. The only thing I would say is that for certain boss, the moth and final boss, having help from a real person is almost essetial your first time through
  8. Yup, Been avoiding everything like the plague. I have the game, just not able to start it yet. All that i know is vauge details about why people are upset. The only *spoiler* one of my friends told me was to try and think of the game as a complege seperate entity from the first game so it doesnt hurt so bad when it sucks. I'm still holding out hope for a good experience though. To everyone else that managed to avoid major spoilers, congrats, it was not easy.
  9. This guide has been awesome, everything worked as it should. Trying to rollback the patches to 1.0 to try the 'easy' method of going for the trophies as described on gamefaqs and the post on page 2 or 3 of this thread (don't remember which) Thank you for taking the time and posting this, really really thankful that the 100% is still available for those that either took forever to try out the game (myself) or never got the dlc when it was available on the PSN store.
  10. My thoughts exactly. I absolutely enjoyed the game and would have loved to have a second plat. With how long it took to get a release i honestly thought Amazon had canceled my order >>
  11. It does not go any slower, but you have less steps to climb.
  12. That sounds awesome. I'm glad that you are liking Final Fantasy VII R, hopefully it does not take years for the next part to come out. What is the theme for Emma? I tend to like platformers and your description intrigues me. I havent done much, finally played and beat Costume Quest. A cute, simple game that is easily beaten in a handful of hours. Nothing is missable and I found it relatively fun. Beyond that, finally got All Rounder after 6 years lol
  13. Final Fantasy 7 Remake completed A beautiful rendition of the beginning of the FF7 story. While not quite the same story, it hits most of the main beats of the story. Interested in how the story progresses past this, but not to thrilled with the final boss(es). It felt like they were pandering to fans, instead of actually trying to tell a cohesive story. Final rating 7/10. Good buildup and interesting follow through that the ending bosses just ruin.
  14. Been a while since I've had an update and back for a two-for, both Resident Evil games Resident Evil 3 Remake - I will start out by saying I have not played the original game and came into this only playing RE0 - 2 remake/hd remaster. Therefore, I found the game highly cinematic but lacking in substance. Jill Valentine has been delving into the mystery of the Arklay Mansion Incident alone after the events of RE1 and a late night phone call from fellow S.T.A.R.S. member Brad springboards her into a desperate struggle for survival through the streets of an undead plagued Raccoon City. I have heard time and time again that RE3 is a game to experience, namely, that being Nemesis. It is this threat that is always present, always creepy, and when he appears it is run or die. His iteration here in this game is rather...unimpressive to say the least. There isn't really anything about Nemesis that is truly special, in fact, he honestly feels like a Mr. X reskin. Even on the higher difficulties, he is just this figure that is easily stopped or dodged. Not exactly this fearsome presence that needs to be avoided at all costs. But moving away from Nemesis, the story itself is...well cinematic. But not in a way that is believable. Yes, I know, the undead are not very believable (yet) BUT suspending belief to play these games is alright. Where it gets shaky is when Jill survives things that should rightly kill her, for example the car scene in the opening segment. I doubt anyone could have rightly survived that. I'm not asking for much, just some acknowledgment that what the main character just went through hurt and she is in need of a healing. However, for the length of the game, I feel it did what it set out to do. Making it feel like it was a mad rush from the start to finish and with the graphics, it is a rather fun time. Nothing about this game is very difficult - unlike most of the other games in this series. It was definitely a blast to play and I look forward to any DLC that might come out for it. The other plat earned is for Resident Evil 0 This game was very difficult to get into and even harder to complete. It was the first Resident Evil that I played and getting the controls down and learning item management and enemy movement took forever. Not really a favorite of mine, Rebecca was annoying and Billy was a one-note cliche. But...as a resident evil game, I am glad to have completed it and never want to touch it again. Even if it is remastered for the PS5
  15. Intro: Hi all and welcome to my attempt to have a workable trophy list. I've been playing games since I was eleven, when my cousin gave me his old Playstation along with a copy of Final Fantasy VII and I have been hooked every since. My gaming preference is RPG's, platformers, and point-and-click adventures, however that is not set in stone and I do branch out at times. Being a twenty something with a variable work schedule does not give me as much time for gaming as I used to have so I mostly squeeze in my gaming late at night while my fiance sleeps. Purpose: This checklist is to serve as a reminder of games completed and to push me to add and update my playlist on a regular basis. Here I will review the games I have just beaten, and talk about upcoming releases. 001 - 025 026 - 050 051 - 075 076 - 100 101 - 125 126 - 143 The Shame Pile The Backlog Pre-Order(s) Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning Crash Bandicoot 4: it's About Time The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
  16. Not exactly a game complete but after 6 years I finally managed to beat the move pack and muppets pack DLC for LBP2 Feeling pretty thrilled to have gotten them done. The move controls are trash and I can see why the periphial never took off
  17. Enslaved Odyssey to the West and the DLC Pigsys Perfect 10 has been completed. Enslaved was an alright game with a brief storyline, short chapters, and nothing overtly difficult. I beat it on Normal, then slammed through Hard mode with the ninja costume to finish it. A post apocalyptic world with murderous mechanical beasts running around, slavers that kidnap people, and a mysterious pyramid. None of these things are ever really expanded upon, which would be fine in theory. But it makes the game feel very flat. You are on a journey because a girl has put a headband on you that will kill you if she dies. You continue the journey...just because. How the headband works, its purpose in the story, and the slavers in general are another aspect that is left unfulfilled. This is a game that feels like it ran out of money halfway through and the developer just wanted to get it done. A jumbled mess with a thrown in ethical dilemma thrown in at the end that again leaves a lot to be desired. The dlc on the other hand definitely feels more finished, if more annoying due to the focus on stealth gameplay. With the game being completely separate that is to be understandable. While I find Pigysy annoying, this dlc saved the overall experience. Though my favorite character is Truffles, which doesnt say much.
  18. @Edunstar84 Yeah, looks like we are the only ones keeping this thread alive. I have high hopes for the remake, even with it being episodic. FF7 was my first final fantasy game and if this game allows us a more fleshed out world and characters, then I'm in support of it. Downloaded and played the Resident Evil 3 Demo. The zombies are much harder to kill and the game just screams 'backtracking nightmare'. I have it pre-ordered but might wait to play it until a reliable guide is out to get through it. Speaking of Resident Evil, I still have to get through Hard Mode in 0, the No Way Out Scenario in 2, and finding Jill's Letter in 2 as well. I lost my PS+ status so can't even do online right now for the games that still need it (been lazy in that department).
  19. Just 4 games defeated myself this year. Cannot wait for FF7 to hit, plus I have the stack of Catgeribe for PS3 coming so get to have an awesome April. Then onto the awesomeness that is The Last of Us Part 2 in May
  20. Okami HD joins the ranks of completed games. I understand that this is a legacy game and a lot of people (from what I've seen) have liked this game. However. I just couldn't find it more than passingly enjoyable. The only highlight is that the game is artistically beautiful with a great concept of using a brush to do special attacks. But beyond that, there isn't very much substance to the game. I just found it slow and annoying. But that could be because my taste in games is changing.
  21. The newest platinum to join the ranks is Life Is Strange: Before the Storm It was fun to journey back to Arcadia Bay and see some of the events that lead up to the first game. However I am torn on exactly how to feel about this game. Three episodes felt really rushed for Chloe and Rachel to establish a relationship that made sense for the events of the first game. It felt strong together and the choices didnt really seem to have that big of an impact which bugged me. The biggest problem I had was with David and Rachel actually. David is given a more 'human' approach this time which just makes the disdain he shows Chloe and Max in the original game worse. His character is built around a general flaw and it felt that Square tried to ease the edges here and it comes of shallow and one note. *spoiler* With Rachel, it doesnt make sense this complete and utter meltdown over her father. And then to have him be shoehorned in as this rudimentary villian was just messy and unnecessary. It felt incomplete, as if the writers did not know how to close of this small chapter of the story and in the end just made it not as memorable as it could have been. On the gaming horizon, will hopefully finish Okami soon and then really tackle Darksiders Genesis.
  22. So a few new things... Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix is in the end stage. Have the grinding left and the following to do: Data Fights - 0/13 Lingering Will Gummi Ship Lvl 99 Paradox Tournaments Jimminys Journal Synthesis Hard Mode Critical Mode Beyond that started Okami HD, and while I find it relaxing the game is also rather simplistic and boring. On top of that GameStop says they did not receive the collectors edition of Darsiders Genesis that I preordered. (The statue of Strife would have completed my collection from the Apocolypse Edition of Darsiders 3). So not too happy about that. They 'might' receive it next week :/
  23. A week and a bit later and I'm staring down the super bosses of KH2FM. Have 26 more levels to go before I'm at the cap and can start on the data battles. Really hoping I dont have to grind out synthesis items to stand a chance. Otherwise this is about to be a painful experience. On the other hand, Mushroom 13 were not too bad. The only one that was rage inducing was Mushroom 8 - Yensid Tower. That little...THING...can go jump off a tall building. With three days to go for the month, is anyone going to finish a game for a Janyary platinum?
  24. Made some good progress in Kingdom Hearts 2 Worlds - Complete Puzzles - Complete Mushrooms - 2 - 12 Complete Sora lvl 73 Data Battles - 0/13 Complete Absent Siloeuttes - 5/5 complete Drive Forms - 4/5 Complete Summon Gauge - 4/7 Complete Tournaments - 1/8 Complete Lingering Will - Not Beaten Sephiroth - Not Beaten Synthesis - Not Completed Think I'm half way there in this playthrough at least
  25. With the third week of January ended, a fulltime job brings less time to enjoy my games. But I moved right on into Kingdom Hearts 2. The last time I played this was on the PS2 (yes I am so far behind the current gen of KH). I remember it being challenging and fun with all the minigames and a better battle system then CoM and KH1. That is still true but I forgot that the gummi missions are harder and that the battles feel more 'gimicky' if that makes sense with the reaction commands. Doing the two playthrough way, once on Normal with the second one being on critical. Currently: Minigames - none completed Mushroom XIII - none completed Puzzles - 2 completed Worlds - Timless River, Mulan, and Beast done. Drive Forms - none maxed 4/5 earned Synthesis - not started Gummi Missions - not started A lot to do yet...😅
