  1. Got the plat for Overcooked 2. Finished the campaign last year, got into it again after clearing the first game out of ps+ The first one felt a lot shorter so when i wanted to play more i grinded out the last trophies of the second game. Since there are furry characters i think it will count for the hardcore requirement and the first trophy i got last year was on august 10, so the challenge for first trophy over a year ago also goes for this one
  2. Got the plat for Sherlock Holmes The Devil's Daughter. There's a lot of going in and out of buildings and there's also some underground section where you need to go into the sewer. So this also fullfills the hardcore requirement. I also obtained 100% for Machinarium. Again multiple buildings and some sections that require you to go below buildings. So also fullfills the hardcore requirement. Only 3 months short of being a 10 year old game (darn)
  3. Hey all, July has indeed been a crazy month for me. Had a ridiculously hard exam for my work (which i passed yay) and had a lot of work to do on my house. I decided to not make a new thread for july because of the decreasing number of competitors and the workload it brings to maintain this competition. Maybe I'll start it up again after a couple of months but for now I want to thank everyone for competing and making it a blast for me to organoze for you all. If everyone wants to make a competition based on this concept please feel free
  4. My game for June: Psycho-Pass Mandatory Happiness Not eligible for additional challenges. End of the month stats: Completion 49,65% Plats: 57 100%: 61
  5. The Genre must be listed on the game's page on PSNProfiles. Please also name a trophy to be locked in for this challenge (You also still need to name a trophy for challenge 40) Please also take note that you can't use the same trophy to complete multiple challenges.
  6. You can also check the thread for the May competition to see how it went down. On a side note: when I checked if there were enough trophies for dance/dancing I didn'tnotice so much of them were only in Just Dance games. Does everyone have enough targets for this challenge or do I need to add a word to the challenge? (Word to be added could be 'beat')
  7. @MarkusT1992 I haven't achieved any platinum or 100% last month. I only finished Detective Pikachu on 3ds last month, can I use a skip in this situation?
  8. I managed to complete a full round of 40 challenges. Not bothering to lock in any challenges in round 2 even though i've surely completed some
  9. It actually doesn't have the second O for Pokemon hahaha, but so close. Pikachu is of course in there so it counts nonetheless
  10. Still hoping to go 40/40 this month, nearly there
  11. I felt like there weren't enough games that started (or ended) with the letters of this month. Since the J is impossible and the other letters would have been hard as well I decided to not do them at all this month. (although now i am curious what games end with U, so far I can only think of That's You) Challenge 5: yes of course all editions of E3 are elgible. (I don't think we'll be able to play most of the games they're gonna anounce this year yet haha) Challenge 9: I feared that June and July are traditionally months that don't have as many releases as other months. So for these months i wanted to put them together to create more options Challenge 38: Yes, Japan is part of asia and all Japanese developers count towards this challenge. I just didn't want to exclude any potential developer from other countries than Japan. Words challenges are based on Zodiac Sign, my association of June with festivals and June releases (X-Men Dark Phoenix, Toy Story 4, F1 2019, Crash Team Racing, Elder Scrolls Online Elsweyr & Super Mario Maker 2)
  12. Trophies for Trophy Hunting Welcome to the third month of the trophy competition that I've called "Trophies for trophy hunting". I feel like most of the active challenges/competitions here are mainly focusing on collecting platinum trophies and attaining 100% completion. Instead of adding another one into the mix, last april I came up with something new and this is the result of that. This competition is one where I have set certain challenges to complete whilst trophy hunting. Think of it as trophies you can get for hunting trophies. The purpose of this challenge is to find unearned trophies that meet the requirements for those challenges. Maybe those challenges are that last bit of motivation you need to pick up that old game and achieve that trophy. How do the challenges work? For the month of June there are 40 challenges to complete. The list of challenges will be placed below. You can complete challenges at your own pace. If you’ve completed at least 35 of the 40 challenges, you can score more points by going for the same challenges again (round 2) You can still complete the last 5 challenges from round 1 after you’ve started round 2 but you can not complete a challenge in round 2 if you haven’t yet completed that same challenge in round 1. Points You get 1 point per completed challenge. How do we keep score? If you’ve completed 5 or more challenges you make a post about those trophies and I will award the points. At the end of the month if you have 3 completed challenges left that you haven't posted about, you can make a post for just those 3 challenges of course. Participant with the most points at the end of the month is the winner. How do I post completed challenges? You post the name of the trophy with which you’ve fulfilled a challenge and the number of the challenge. Based on that trophy I will check your trophy log to see if you’ve met the conditions. Please also mention the timestamp from when you've earned that trophy. Especially later in the month this saves me a lot of time searching trophy logs. Examples are from the first month so the challenge used for the example is outdated For example: Completed: Challenge 9. Get a trophy that has the word egg(s) in the trophy name: Egg Hunt - Spyro the Dragon 5th April 11:12 PM You can only complete 1 challenge with the same trophy. So once you’ve named a trophy to complete a challenge you can not name that trophy to complete another challenge. If a challenge requires you to get multiple trophies they must all be locked in for that challenge. So none of the trophies to fulfill that challenge can be used for another challenge. If you started round 2 and still have some earned trophies that you haven't used for a challenge, you can still lock those trophies in to complete challenges in round 2 How do I sign up? Just comment that you will be competing and you’re good to go. You can still sign up after this competition has started (June 1st). You can use trophies you've earned before signing up to complete challenges, as long as you've earned them in this month (June 2019) There is no maximum to the number of participants. You will be added to the leaderboard and google spreadsheet once you've updated your first completed challenges You can also report your first completed challenges in the same post you sign up Got some ideas? This is my first time organising any kind of competition and this is the second draft of the concept. So any feedback or suggestions are always welcome. Please feel free to post any ideas or improvements. Challenges will be up for a whole month, and if this proves to be a success I will think of new the challenges for the next month The competition starts on: June 1st 0:01 AM UTC +02 The Challenges for June 1. 13. All right. Time for me to post my first update for this month:
  14. Sorry i can't count these, the game has to start with the letters, not the trophy names. But with your amount of trophies i think it's just a matter of locking other trophies in haha. Also i'm back from vacation! That means i'm able to keep the competition up to date again. Leaderboard is updated and all scores shoul have been counted up until now. Please notify me if i've missed any.
