Thanks all for the feedbacks, seems it was some kind of a false alarm. Have a nice WE 👋

Hi all, just ran into the article below:
I actually always let some days pass before I install any update on my machine precisely to avoid bad surprises and now I'm wondering if I should go for 6.02 at all...
Has anyone here faced issues with it?
Thanks all :-)

That’s what people who have a matter of size are usually being told... 😉

Or much more, actually. Remember Star Wars Battlefront II? ;-)

Hi all, just ran into the article below (in French, sorry)
http://m.jeuxactu.com/psn-sony-va-enfin-permettre-aux-joueurs-de-changer-leur-pseudo-115565.htm
Basically it refers to a Kotaku reporter having multiple sources confirming Sony is about to implement an ID change feature.
Too great to be true?

But it does.
Same for me, actually. The mere idea of being able to revisit places from the previous episode is quite exiting!

- The Last of Us Part III Remastered: At the beginning of PS6 generation

If true it’s really great, but I’d keep my expectations quite low for the time being. Just in case it is the same kind of rumor as the one announcing Nioh & Diablo III for the October PS+ lineup...

Wow... Easily the shittiest list in a while. At least this is good news for my backlog, which is desperate to lose some weight 😅

Not if you treat them with decency, care and consideration. I’ve been fired once and stealing data from the company didn’t even pop to my mind, because I had been treated like a person, not like an expendable pawn...

Years of service, involvement, dedication, crush pressure, extra hours - and then kicked out like a shit... In many countries this is just unthinkable. God bless America 😕

Quite sure it will, just like GTA5 back then - the MP trophies were planned even though GTA online was launched a few weeks later...

Never said Sony was unpopular or insignificant - my point is that Sony cannot compare to Nintendo when it comes to being a videogaming “pioneer” company. There’s a nostalgia around the old Nintendo machines that you cannot find with Sony yet, they should have waited longer before going into this...
But I suppose it will sell, and money cannot wait ;-)

For real, when are we getting the Phillips CD-i mini or the Atari Jaguar Classics? I'm looking forward to those too
This is becoming really pointless indeed - these people don’t seem to realize that not everyone is Nintendo...

Thanks for the feedback 👍
How hard would you say was the platinum? Seems there’s no guide whatsoever, did you face issues in getting collectibles?

Kratos being Kratos, my feeling is he rather does this to piss Athena... 😁

It's right there when you search for it.
Thanks mate! 👍
Funnily, I never managed to find it on the Store while searching with quite obvious keywords, like "Firewatch theme"...
Edit - I confirm you can find it on the Store from a PC / phone, but impossible to find it from the PS4. Weird... 😶

Sorry for being so straightforward, but what's the point of this poll? One of these games was just released, the other won't be on sale until several weeks. Ask it again in a few months when people can have a serious opinion, meaning based on their experience, not on hype...
PS - so far, my 2018 GOTY is definitely God of War.
PPS - quite amazed to see that dozens of people have already voted without having played at least one of these games... 🙄

Per above, I've seen there's a nice dynamic theme from this game so I went to the Store - impossible to find it. Has it been removed ? Or was it just never for sale and available another way, like pre-order bonus? Thanks in advance ;-)

#23 - God of War
Difficulty = 4/10
Enjoyment = 11/10
Oh man, what a game! What a hell of a game!!! Among my very, very best ever played - and as I made my first videogaming footsteps almost 30 years ago on NES, that is really saying something...
It's quite simple, I loved it from the beginning to the end and after - and so much I decided to manage to have the plat pop in my milestones as my 2500th trophy. Even the somewhat tedious collectibles are insignificant compared to the awesome overall experience. A great story served by a deep gameplay, in a technically stunning presentation - it's all flawless from my humble point of view.
Hats off, Santa Monica!

Quite agree with your point. Issue with surprises is, sometimes they’re bad surprises... 😕
A voting system would be quite great, with PS+ owners choosing 2 titles among a selection proposed by Sony (I know, I’m dreaming)

Per some information retrieved here and there, platinum is apparently close to impossible. The last trophy of the list (God among mortals) is such of combination of sheer luck and perfect skill that it makes Super Meat Boy’s plat look like a childish joke... Good luck to anyone who will attempt it 😉

Quite likely a shitload of remasters of already previously remastered best-sellers... 😕
Plus, hopefully, up-to-the-challenge sequels to some masterpieces like the lastest God of War, Horizon, The Witcher...
And - let’s dream - a few new, great licences!!! 😁

Valiant Hearts deserves a mention here for showing war like hardly ever before, but my top favorite game has to be Journey - how the devs managed to generate so much emotion without any conventional feature is still a mystery to me... A must-have 😍

Now that I’ve been through the game I can say I could not agree less.
First because the game is pretty decent. Gameplay does not reinvent the wheel and the camera sometimes sucks, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the story is quite good - you really have to complete a first playthrough to grasp it. The end is quite heart-breaking for whoever is a parent...
Second because the platinum is only easy with a guide. Many collectibles are extremely well hidden and some contextual trophies are really not self-explanatory. I made my first playthrough blind and missed most of these.
Not the game of the year but quite enjoyable. Anyone who enjoyed games like Journey should go for it.
