Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - () [5.12.19] I'm working on Mousecraft today and while I've made progress in the game, I haven't gotten any new trophies. and I FINALLY made some trophy progress. I have completed half of the puzzles with a gold ranking. I tried to pick up Twin Robots today as well but I am just uninterested. I also put in my updates from the past few days for Teslagrad & Kingdom Hearts III.
  2. Sign me up for Hero of Ikaruga as I beat XBlaze Code: Embryo
  3. Same. I got it done in 2.5 short playthroughs and didn't mind the walking/jogging speed. Also, I am a huge sci-fi nerd and a fan of non-linear story telling so this game was right up my alley. Unbearable though is Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness. I can't stand having to grind through that mini game to get all of the Voice and Picture content. I honestly didn't mind the rest of the game but that part is driving me mad.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - () [5.12.19] I am about halfway done with Teslagrad and just picked up my third artifact/device (not sure what its called but it added a new game mechanic). I am having a lot of fun with this game. The music is quite pleasant and I adore the art style. I also put some time into Kingdom Hearts III and got the True Captain and Stargazer trophies. I also beat a little over a third of the Battlegates and raised Sora & teams level to 54 from around 40. The most difficult trophies for me are going to be the ones where you need a certain amount of points in the mini games (such as the dance in Corona).
  5. I need to change my list since I finished Among the Sleep this month and as part of the Spring Challenge. I may change this again before the event starts but these are ones I am confident I can finish. 1. Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS3) - 1% 2. Bound by Flame - 4% 3. Broken Age - 5% 4. Among the Sleep - 10% The Walking Dead Collection - 28% 5. Spyro the Dragon - 19%
  6. I don't know that I am going to beat any more games this month that fit the challenge so here is my May post (minus my stats which I will put in at the end of the month). I am posting games with a platinum first and then the one I got that doesn't have a platinum. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (Nominated for 2018 BAFTA GOTY) Complete a game that counts towards another PSNP event (Spring 2019 Backlog Challenge) Complete a game in which you got you first trophy a year ago. The Walking Dead [PS3] & 100% (Won 2012 Spike Video Game Awards GOTY) Complete a game that counts towards another PSNP event (Spring 2019 Backlog Challenge) Complete a game that fulfills the Hardcore requirement for the month. Complete all currently released DLC of a game. Complete a game that you started this month. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture (Nominated for 2016 BAFTA GOTY) Complete a game that counts towards another PSNP event (Spring 2019 Backlog Challenge) Complete a game in which you got your first trophy a year ago FEZ 100% (Won 2012 Eurogamer GOTY) Complete a game that counts towards another PSNP event (Spring 2019 Backlog Challenge) Complete 4 games in a month. Complete a game that fulfills the Hardcore requirement for that month. Complete a game in which you got your first trophy a year ago In regards to my thoughts about the games: Hellblade is one that I picked up as soon as it released digitally (it was actually my first digital pre-order through the playstation store). I absolutely loved it when I first started playing but had gotten stuck on the Valravyn portion of the game. This game was emotionally taxing as I have mental illnesses myself and also could empathize greatly with the character of Senua which is the other reason I put it off for so long. This game has some of my favorite fighting mechanics ever and it was a lot of fun doing the battles. I know I haven't mentioned the graphics or the soundtrack but that is because they are probably the easiest things to give praise to. I really hope that Ninja Theory continues this series. This is my third playthrough of The Walking Dead (first was on PC & second was on Vita). Of all of the Tell Tale games, it is probably my favorite which is why I have no problem playing it multiple times. I will likely play it at least once more within The Walking Dead Collection on PS4 for the Project Platinum it is part of. I love the characters of Lee & Clementine. I honestly have grown to really despise some of the other characters (Kenny & Ben) so I find myself wishing they were dead close to when I meet them. The Two out of Three trophy was the bane of my existence for two days and almost kept me from completing the DLC. I am honestly not sure why people shit all over Everybody's Gone to the Rapture as its an absolutely stunning game with a well written sci-fi narrative and phenomenal soundtrack. I am not surprised it was nominated for as many awards as it was. I can see people's complaint about the movement speed but personally, I thought it went at a smooth and solid pace. Trying to play it during the holiday season while working retail was a mistake. I am glad to have finally given it the attention it deserves and to actually finish it. The key gameplay mechanic in FEZ of being able to rotate the world is what makes it so interesting. Its a game that doesn't give you too much guidance on where to go and encourages you to explore the entirety of each area. I went through it in a very methodical way to clear out each area as efficiently as possible. I love the graphic style and the music. This is another game that I will almost definitely play again, especially because I have a copy on Steam already.
  7. 1. Black Mirror - () [3.16.19] 2. Mousecraft - (10%) 3. Kingdom Hearts III - (67%) 4. FEZ - () [5.4.19] 5. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - () [5.8.19] 6. Teslagrad - (25%-->39%) 7. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - (18%-->) [5.12.19] I beat Everybody's Gone to the Rapture yesterday on my day off and today FINALLY got past Faradeus (the bird boss) in Teslagrad. I am probably going to play for a little longer before I head to sleep. I am hoping on Wednesday & Thursday to have updates on Mousecraft & Twin Robots because I will be away for those two days so will be primarily playing my Vita.
  8. Finally hit 35 of 40 for Round 1. This month is definitely a lot slower for me. I have beat four games & gotten about 130 trophies its just that most of them don't qualify for any of the challenges or they all qualify for the same challenges. Going to start Round 2 now. I still really love this event even though I am not crushing it as thoroughly as I had last month.
  9. Thank you, @Fat Chocobo! I don't even feel like I am playing all that much. I work at a video game store so I try to play a bit of everything and I also have a HUGE backlog that I want to get through. These events are helping me do that in a way that is fun and doesn't feel like drudgery. While I am here, I might as well update. 1. Black Mirror - () [3.16.19] 2. Mousecraft - (10%) 3. Kingdom Hearts III - (67%) 4. FEZ - () [5.4.19] 5. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - () [5.8.19] 6. Teslagrad - (25%) 7. Datura - () [3.29.19] 8. XBlaze Code Embryo - () [3.31.19] 9. Among the Sleep - () [5.9.19] 14. Uncanny Valley - (0%-->✅) [5.11.19] 15. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - (18%) I finished Uncanny Valley during my lunch break yesterday. Definitely an interesting game even though I hated the D-pad controls. I probably would have been less annoyed by them if I had played the entire game on my Vita but I played the first two playthroughs on my PS4 and the last one on the Vita. I'm working on Everybody's Gone to the Rapture now. I forgot how much I really love this game. I threw myself right into it when I first got it on PS Plus but got distracted by other things and never came back to it. I'm glad that I am finally going to finish it as the game is gorgeous to look at, calming to play & I am quite fond of the story.
  10. Finally posting my first update. 🙃 Sorry it took me so long. This month is definitely more difficult both in the types of challenges and the amount of time I have to play or plan what I am going to play. On top of that the "R" key on my keyboard broke and now needs to be replaced so typing is really annoying. Also - I have one more question - for games released in May could it be that any of the versions of the game were released in May? For example: Borderlands 2 for PS Vita was released in May. Would that mean that I can only play the Vita version for that challenge or if I played the PS4 version would that also count because the game was at one point released in May? Anyway, here it goes, I got 25 of 40 for Round 1.
  11. 1. Black Mirror - () [3.16.19] 2. Mousecraft - (10%) 3. Kingdom Hearts III - (67%) 4. FEZ - () [5.4.19] 5. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - () [5.8.19] 6. Teslagrad - (25%) 7. Datura - () [3.29.19] 8. XBlaze Code Embryo - () [3.31.19] 9. Adam's Venture: Origins - () [4.9.19] 10. Twin Robots (Vita) - (54%) 11. Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion - () [4.26.19] 12. The Walking Dead (PS3) - ( & 100%) [5.8.19 & 5.9.19] 13. Among the Sleep - () [5.9.19] 14. Uncanny Valley - (0%) 15. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - (18%) I finally got that last trophy for The Walking Dead last night. Didn't end up starting Uncanny Valley yet but I am about to do that this morning. Also, adding Everybody's Gone to the Rapture because I am going to be completing that game for another event and I don't like number 4 or numbers that end in 4. This will likely be the last game I add.
  12. Um, there is definitely the trophy requiring a second player on PS4. It's called Together Til the End and requires you to play the game in duo mode. It is the reason I don't have the platinum.
  13. 1. Black Mirror - () [3.16.19] 2. Mousecraft - (10%) 3. Kingdom Hearts III - (67%) 4. FEZ - () [5.4.19] 5. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - () [5.8.19] 6. Teslagrad - (25%) 7. Datura - () [3.29.19] 8. XBlaze Code Embryo - () [3.31.19] 9. Adam's Venture: Origins - () [4.9.19] 10. Twin Robots (Vita) - (54%) 11. Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion - () [4.26.19] 12. The Walking Dead (PS3) - (84%-->98% & ) [5.8.19] 13. Among the Sleep - (10%-->✅) [5.9.19] 14. Uncanny Valley - (0%) Finished Among the Sleep last night. That game was pretty messed up. I think I was about half way through when I realized what/who the monster was. I did all of the story of the 400 Days DLC for The Walking Dead this morning but have been spending over an hour trying to get the stupid Rock, Paper, Scissors trophy. This is infinitely aggravating and I'm annoyed that I wasted a good portion of my morning before work trying to get it. I got it on the first try when I played on PC and Vita but on this I must have done it at least 15 times to no avail. Other than that, I am adding Uncanny Valley to my list since I need some trophies from a game that ends in Y for another event and the game is fairly short.
