  1. Totally forgot to come here and make another post with the rest of my games for August (besides the three I had already posted) because my dad had emergency surgery at the end of the month and then I was away taking care of him for the past week and a half (he is doing much better now). I'm pretty sure this wouldn't have impacted any of the stats for the month with the exception of doubling the games that I completed for August. Here are the other games I completed from my list last month: Tearaway Unfolded All 35 Trophies 8th August 2020 • Platinum in 4 years, 1 month First Trophy: 10th Jul 2016 Resident Evil 7: Biohazard 51 of 59 Trophies 9th August 2020 • Platinum in 3 years, 6 months First Trophy: 25th Jan 2017 The Bridge All 20 Trophies 10th August 2020 • Completed in 1 year, 10 months First Trophy: 11th Oct 2018 I'm not going to do an in depth write-up on these. I will say that Tearaway Unfolded was light-hearted with some challenging moments and I definitely recommend it as its one of the games that uses the full capabilities of the PS4 controller. The puzzles in The Bridge were quite fun particularly for someone who plays a lot of puzzle games. I am glad to have FINALLY finished the platinum for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. I do want to eventually 100% the game but it may be beyond my gaming skills for a while as I am pretty bad at some of the DLC mini games - so for now I am celebrating my success in completing the base game and the bulk of the DLC.

  3. Hey Clan Belmont I haven't paired these off with which categories they'd go with but these are the games I thought I would use for this: Borderlands 3 Bound by Flame Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Last of Us Remastered Layers of Fear Prey
  4. Changing up my list a bit before the event starts. I'm removing Lego Marvel's Avengers because I am not sure that I am going to want to play it any time soon. While I really enjoy the Lego games, I go through phases with them. I am also removing Control because the DLC was just added and I don't own it yet. If I pick up the DLC I may add Control back to the list at a later date. I'm adding Borderlands 3 and Ratchet & Clank to the list in place of the two I removed. I am decently far in the story for Borderlands 3 and own all of the DLC so I should have no problem completing that one. Ratchet & Clank should be nice and light hearted in between some of those heavier RPGs I have in my list. I have also rearranged my list to be in order based on percentage of the game completed before the event started. I will inevitably add more games to my list but I think this is a good start of games that I know I'll have fun with and can likely complete. Some games that are in the side lines to be potentially added are Transistor, Ghost of Tsushima, Final Fantasy VII, Outer Worlds & Last of Us II. 1. Borderlands 3 - 21% 2. Final Fantasy XV - 13% 3. Ratchet & Clank - 11% 4. Need for Speed Payback - 9% 5. Dragon Age: Origins - 6% 6. Bound by Flame (PS3) - 6% 7. Unravel - 1% 8. The Last of Us Remastered - 0% 9. Moss - 0% 10. Lifeless Planet - 0%
  5. Update #9: 1. Psychonauts - 1%->56%->88% 2. A Plague Tale: Innocence - 14%->100% [7.1.2020] 3. The Bridge - 14%->70%->100% [8.10.2020] 4. Lego Marvel Super Heroes - 17%->48%->90% 5. Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut - 9%->14%->90% 6. Murasaki Baby - 0%->100% [7.5.2020] 7. Erica - 0%->100% [7.17.2020] 8. Adam's Venture: Chronicles - 0%->100% [7.19.2020] 9. The Turing Test - 0%->100% [7.28.2020] 10. Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter - 0%->100% [8.2.2020] 11. Hollow Knight - 8% 12. Seasons After Fall - 0%->100% [8.2.2020] 13. √Letter - 0%->100% [8.5.2020] 14. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc - 16% Swaps Used: 2/2 (Psychonauts for Bendy & the Ink Machine; Hollow Knight for Shadwen) I finally finished the story mode and got all of the collectibles in Psychonauts. The first section of The Meat Circus stage gave me a lot of issues - primarily at the second knife thrower. I had some minor difficulties when avoiding drowning in that level and trying to maneuver around those floating fences. My biggest issue with the game is probably the camera since I constantly had to manually adjust it to get Raz to go where I wanted him to. If the camera followed Raz better throughout the game I probably would have enjoyed it more but it was a slog at the end. Still trying for I LOVE PUNCHING and Math is Hard so I can get the platinum. The minigame is literally the only thing I have left but I must have played it 100 times already and have only beat one of the extra levels. Other than that I have been primarily playing games that weren't part of this challenge and had too high of a completion percentage for me to add them. I do want to add Dangaronpa though as I am sure I can finish that as well as Hollow Knight before the month ends.
  6. This might be a dumb question but is there any way to get your IP unbanned?
  7. Update #8: 1. Psychonauts - 1%->30%->56% 2. A Plague Tale: Innocence - 14%->100% [7.1.2020] 3. The Bridge - 14%->70%->100% ✅ [8.10.2020] 4. Lego Marvel Super Heroes - 17%->48%->90% 5. Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut - 9%->14%->90% 6. Murasaki Baby - 0%->100% [7.5.2020] 7. Erica - 0%->100% [7.17.2020] 8. Adam's Venture: Chronicles - 0%->100% ✅ [7.19.2020] 9. The Turing Test - 0%->100% ✅ [7.28.2020] 10. Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter - 0%->100% [8.2.2020] 11. Shadwen - 0% Hollow Knight - 8% 12. Seasons After Fall - 0%->100% [8.2.2020] 13. √Letter - 0%->100% [8.5.2020] I've decided to use my second swap to remove Shadwen from my list because even though I feel like I could complete that game by the end of the month, I really have zero desire to play it. I found the concept to be quite interesting but in practice, the gameplay was more annoying than fun. I'll be swapping in Hollow Knight which I have been enjoying greatly. Between the art style, soundtrack, and gameplay it is an overall pleasant experience. I can't believe that I waited this long to play it. I spent more time on Root Letter then I had expected to. I honestly was really intrigued by the story and ended up actually paying attention to it rather than just powering through the game. If you like visual novels this one is fun with some WEIRD storylines depending on which path you choose. The Bridge is finally complete and I luckily had no issues with popping the Collector trophy which was my biggest fear based on the posts in the forum about it being glitchy. I loved the M.C.Escher style of the puzzles. I definitely dragged out completing that game because I liked doing the puzzles a few at a time and savoring the game rather than rushing through it. It is another game whose soundtrack I greatly enjoyed. Finally, I made some progress on Psychonauts. At this point, I have gotten all of the collectibles from the camp and any of the levels I have unlocked already. Waterloo was by far the most annoying level to try to collect figments in because there were so many environmental pieces that would block the camera rather than clipping so you could see. I am becoming increasingly more frustrated with the lack of precision of the controls in this game and the camera not following in an intuitive way. Some parts of the game are incredibly easy but then I find myself repeatedly jumping from the same set of platforms 20 times in a row just to get Raz to touch a figment the right way to collect it. There is a good chance I won't be able to beat the punching mini-game in which case this game will not get completed but at least I'll have done as much as I am capable of. Speaking of incomplete games - both Lego Marvel Super Heroes and Q.U.B.E. Directors Cut may stay at 90% for a good long time. I am in the middle of a few other events and I really don't want to waste time and energy trying for just a few trophies that will require me to repeatedly do the same things over and over until I maybe get it right. I thoroughly enjoyed both games but the flying in LMSH and the time trials in Q.U.B.E. can both go straight in the toilet.
  8. My total number of Platinums on the Stats page is incorrect. It should be 10 total (the amounts under each fixture is correct though)
  9. I am also excited for that showdown! One day, I will be good enough to win a fixture against either of those two but this season was not that time.
  10. Great fixture, @Kent10201! I should have brought my vita with me when I went to drop off my car at the repair shop. Enterprise took their sweet time bringing me my rental car (I was stuck there for an hour and then hit traffic coming home which I would have missed otherwise) which severely limited the amount of time I head to catch up once you took the lead. Congrats on your continued undefeated streak!
  11. Two more games for me for August and both were started and finished on the same day! (completely unintentional coincidence) Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus All 36 Trophies 6th August 2020 • Platinum in 1 year, 5 months First Trophy: 17th Feb 2019 Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness All 36 Trophies 6th August 2020 • Platinum in 1 year, 5 months First Trophy: 17th Feb 2019 After putting the game down for a little over a year because I got stuck at the last race (I really despise when racing is thrown into platformers particularly so when the controls are terrible), I finally booted up Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus at the beginning of last month. I then promptly got stuck on the battle with Panda King. I definitely struggled with this game on the Vita compared to on PS3. I play a lot of handheld games so I think the port was just not ideal. Either way, I am glad that I finally beat it this morning and got it off of my backlog. Now I just have to finish the other three games in the series on both systems. 😅 Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness had no business being on my backlog as long as it was. Honestly, what happened was that I finished the story pretty quickly but when I was working on the mini game I started randomly purchasing the unlocks for the Voices and Pictures. I ended up getting stuck on level 6-2 of the mini game so I was grinding freeplay a lot to try to get enough points for everything but it was never gonna happen. Sometime in June, I deleted my save file and replayed the entire base game AGAIN just so I could get all of my points from the earlier levels of the mini game back. This time I didn't spend the points frivolously but rather saved up until I could unlock all of the Pictures & Voices. Unfortunately, the guide I read wasn't clear about the fact that Voices needed double the points that Pictures did so I unlocked the pictures and than redownloaded my save from the cloud. Once again I was stuck on level 6-2 in the minigame and needed a considerable amount of points to finish unlocking everything. Then today, something just clicked and I figured out the level. It is definitely one of the hardest levels (if not the hardest) of that mini game because I breezed through the next 20 without issue. I'm so glad to never have to play that mini game again.
  12. UPDATE #5: Only one game left and then I have finished this event! Seasons After Fall was a gorgeous platformer with a fun game mechanic where changing the seasons impacted the level and your ability to traverse it. I adored the music and art style of this game. Even though the puzzles were fairly simplistic, taking away from the puzzle aspect of puzzle platformer, the game was still quite enjoyable. If you have PS Now it is definitely worth it to give this game a shot. After putting the game down for a little over a year because I got stuck at the last race (I really despise when racing is thrown into platformers particularly so when the controls are terrible), I finally booted up Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus at the beginning of last month. 😅 0: (8410) 11-11: Memories Retold [7.27.2020] 1: Borderlands 3, Need for Speed Payback 2: (8082) Donut County [7.1.2020] 3: (6833) Hidden Agenda [7.14.2020] 4: (6144) Seasons After Fall [8.2.2020] 5: (2905) Murasaki Baby [7.5.2020] 6: (9306) A Plague Tale: Innocence [7.1.2020] 7: (2677) Another World [7.1.2020] 8: (2598) Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (Vita) [8.6.2020] 9: (6619) Twin Robots (Vita) [7.5.2020]
  13. Last night and this morning I made up for my lack of points with some VR & UR trophies plus two Plats so I think I am alright now. I'm not super concerned that I will lose this fixture, I mostly am trying to improve my stats so I stay in the top five and with any luck potentially move up to the top three.
  14. I'd like to sign up and join Clan Belmont.
  15. I am planning on doing the same thing for FFXV (finishing as much as is still obtainable). I just picked up all of the DLCs but am very aware that 100% is unobtainable by normal means.
