Yesterday i managed to upset someone in Red Dead Redemption 2 (race series) so much that they got the urge to insult me from other account while playing. And when after one race most people left they vote kicked me out of loby. 😂
I never though i will get to see higher level players upset over my performance in this game. Of course i could be wrong, but all messages i received were after "heavy contacts" with player at level 89 and his partner in crime at level 67. You team up and still neither of you can win (with higher end horses) 3 races in the row. How am i the problem?
This is what i don't like about internet. People will say almost anything to you when they are aware there's no consequence for what they say.
Yeah I know.
I do my very best to be honest and open world with most people on the internet because that's just who I am.
This reminds me of a British guy I played against in Red Dead Redemption online years ago. Kept cursing and throwing threats at me whenever I killed him. I'm like "Dude, this is a video game. Chill".
I used to play a lot of online in the past but after having seen so much drama and hate in video games while playing I rarely go on anymore.
I play video games to escape my real life problems and immerse myself. Not get thrown back into the real world.
Facebook and Twitter I had to leave because the drama was getting to be too much for me.
I have nothing against honest and open opinion as long as it doesn't sound like direct insult.
I can't say i'm great in any competitive shooter. I usually drop to 0.7 - 0.8 (K/D ratio) at start and then get up to somewhere between 1.5 -2.0 before i get tired of game. If anything i'm doing way worse in RDR2. In first RDR i was confident enough to try Kingpin legit. I failed, but i'm still little proud of my best attempt of 11 kills against 6 unique players.
I can think of only 1 game on PlayStation where i was able to win and i would get messages like "Good job!", "Great run!". It was SSX. That's probably because even when you lost you still got enough to not feel as loser.
I had one of worst experience on Facebook last year. I posted some gameplay from Onrush when they had open beta. As any other gaming post i left it on public. Someone posted some link that i didn't understand and tagged some guy from my friend list. I said that i don't understand what they are trying to say and don't get what does that have to do with me playing Onrush . I got reply that guy they tagged is a paedophile and i was asked if he's my friend. Then i explained how back in 2006/07 i played Vampire Wars and Poker from Zynga. During that time i added almost 4 000 people to my friend list. I said that i live in Croatia and that i can't confirm what they are saying it's true. That i will not take any action against them, but that i don't appreciate connection they are trying to make. After that they deleted the post. It's one of rare situations that made me feel very uncomfortable online.
