Hey everyone, a lot of my time this past month has been spent studying as college started up again so I haven't been able to update anywhere near as much as I would've liked to, but I've caught back up so I have some time to write an update about the trophy hunting I've been doing this past month.

I decided to swap out all of the Uncharted games because crushing difficulty was already kicking my ass. I don't even wanna think about how hard brutal difficulty is and since this challenge is on a time limit i'd rather work on the series over a longer period of time.
This game has absolutely consumed all my free time the past few weeks, it's one of the best game I've played in the last few years. Kiryu and Majima are such wonderful protagonists and the campaign was absolutely enthralling. It feels like you're watching a cheesy drama in all the best ways and my jaw must've dropped on like 10 different occasions throughout the story with all the twists they throw at you. getting 100% has also been really enjoyable for the most part, I actually ended up really enjoying Mahjong to my surprise due to the stigma surrounding it and all the other minigames were really fun and goofy in the best way (Queen of Passion and Judgement have been on repeat in my head for the past few weeks!). The only part that gave me any trouble was the Catfights, the amount of RNG in that mode is crazy and it must've taken me like 5 hours to get all the wins I needed. I just finished the climax battles so I only have to replay the game on legendary to get the platinum but I think I'm gonna wait a little while and replay it when the games less fresh in my mind so I can enjoy the story again. If any of you are considering giving the Yakuza series a go I implore you to play Yakuza 0, if the game clicks, you'll really enjoy it.
Catherine Full Body
I've beaten the campaign a few times now and seen a few different routes and it's been pretty enjoyable. My only issue with the Game has been Rin's route, Atlus seems to have a habit to add unnecessary characters to any game they remake and I don't think any of them have added to their respected games in any way. I've never even played the original and Rin still felt tacked onto the game for me with her true ending being a bit ridiculous even for a game as eccentric as Catherine. Despite that, Catherine's gameplay still shines through and is incredibly addicting. I've been making my way through the game and completing all the levels on hard to get some practice before trying to do the Tower of Babel.
Zero Escape: The Nonary Games
I enjoyed the Phoenix Wright games a lot when I was younger so I've been recommended the Zero Escape series a lot. 999 was a really enjoyable VN, the low res 3d a lot of old ds games used is really visually appealing to me and the setting was pretty cool. Getting all the endings wasn't too much of a hassle either because the flowchart made it so easy to jump across the story. Slowly figuring out what's really going on as you worked your way through all the endings was pretty satisfying too. VLR's been sorta weird so far. The 3d models are janky as hell and don't have too many different poses, it's really apparent with Clover who only has 1 or 2 poses where she isn't smiling. It's really jarring when something intense is happening and everybody looks serious while she has this goofy grin on her face. It makes it a bit hard to take the game seriously at times and I find myself giggling through a lot of the scenes with her. Other than that, I've found most of the characters fairly interesting, Zero the III's VA is really good so I hope he turns up a lot throughout the rest of the game.
Assassin's Creed III: Remastered
I feel like Assassin's Creed III gets way more flack than it should. It has a really nice setting and some of the best characters in the series. Haytham is probably the best villain they've ever had and him and Connor have a really good dynamic. It definitely suffers from a rushed development cycle though, it has so many cool ideas that all fall flat with how half baked they are, though some get improved on vastly in later entries (like AC IV with the ship combat). I'm about halfway through the game and have just been enjoying walking around and completing sidequests and the like. Boston and the Frontier are some of my favourite locales in the entire series so it's always fun to explore them. I never got to play the DLC when the game originally came out so i'm looking forward to giving them a go too.
Sorry for the walls of text, i'm gonna try update more often so it's not so much of an info dump when I write updates. Good luck hunting everyone! 😄
