  3. 100% #195 - Journey. Not the total jizzfest that people make it out to be, but it was kinda neat for a 1-2hr game.

Congrats,I need to finish this but it's the sort of game I never play for trophies and if I do get trophies they just happen,i don't go for them.

    3. DamagingRob

      Nice job!

    4. ShonenCat

      Congratz! 🎂

  4. It doesn't have Xbox achievements either. Read the thread title again. Pretty sure that's exactly what this thread did. https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/254-battlefantasia Eternal Sonata was already listed. Saints Row 2 was already listed. Not like it would've been easy to check before posting, given that the list is in alphabetical order.
  5. Me are be the bestest brain damages of the entire days at the stuff.
  6. It's a great game, actually. Not to mention it's 100x better than any game you've ever produced.
  7. How is it that I have 159 and can't recall a single "fun" game? I've had many games with entrancing stories, visceral and cathartic combat, satisfying platinums, but I can't remember ever saying to myself "omg I'm having so much fun while playing this game." Games seem to fall into other categories: 1. Genuinely simple/easy and I blow right through them. 2. I'm freakishly good at them, which makes them easy to me, and I blow right through them. 3. Difficult and frustrating, but I press on (for whatever reasons) and make it through to the end. 4. Just a laundry list of collectibles and things to do, which makes them a grind/tedious. 5. Bad/poorly made games. games y u no fun
  8. Just had a wonderful experience playing Journey where I met another player and they took me by the hand and showed me every collectible in one playthrough. Not sure if it was a bot, or another human, but thank you all the same. :)

Journey is a great game, I once messed up the final but totally

*final bit royally but the person still waited*

    3. Hemiak

I once played through chapter two to the end with someone, and lost my friend during the final flying section. I waited but they never showed up. Was super bummed.

    4. DamagingRob

I think the game mentions the players you met after the credits or something. But they won't show up in your "players met." It's part of the uniqueness that is Journey, not knowing who you're playing with.

  9. 110 trophies in the first 10 days of the month. B)  Not sure if I'll add to it by midnight. loljkthoamirite

  10. 29 trophies yesterday and 21 trophies today; 466 in the last 69 days. That's 7 trophies/day for more than 2 months straight (even better when you factor in sleeping). Dang, yo. I'm blowin' up! These Uncharted games are just spittin' them out! Hooray for trophy whores everywhere! :D

    1. XchocomanX

Haha! Stuff that get to happen wiith enough free time lol

      29 trophies today. O_o

    3. DaivRules

I'm up to 44 trophies since COVID, that's a pretty big number for me.

    4. Froopy the Temmie

      Froopy the Temmie

That's most assuredly not a small number ;) Congratulations!

  13. Death from Above: If you're trying to recreate the famous PowerPyx video and finding that vehicles despawn after the third or fourth bike/jetski, please know that plane itself can count as the fourth vehicle, so all you need is the plane and three bikes/jetskis and it'll still unlock the trophy. Ghost Kill: Although it's not a rifle or a bow and arrow, the machine gun on a helicopter will trigger the 150m headshot trophy. You can come across enemies more frequently in a chopper than on foot, and the machine gun's bullets refill themselves, so you can keep trying indefinitely for free. Hope this helps.
  14. I ascended, got the in-game achievement for first ascension, but the trophy didn't unlock. I read around the internet and some folks said it would unlock on the next ascension, so I played through and ascended a second time (both legit, btw), but still no trophy. I deleted the save file, but my stats were still there when I restarted the game. So, I deleted the save file and the game, downloaded it again, and my stats were still there. I honestly don't know what to do. I'd appreciate any insight. Thanks. EDIT: I did a hard reset of the stats (options menu), played without time-skipping up to the point where I could ascend again, and the trophy unlocked. This leads me to be believe it has something to do with the time glitch. Maybe the trophy won't unlock if it's 2099, or if it's 2020 and your skills say 300484728 until they refresh. Hope this helps.
  15. The Witcher III - 180hrs, DLC 100%, 71/79 trophies. It's very tempting to do a second playthrough for the few missables, but PSN has Journey and 3 x Uncharted for free, and I'm buying 4 games tomorrow, so I think I'm done with TW3 for now.

To summarize my experience with the game, I went from "This is definitely NOT the GOTY" to "lol wtf was Skyrim." This is the best RPG ever. :)

      Congrats :D

As an onlooker that’s perpetually been on the verge of starting this game (for the first time) for what’s felt like forever, but could never seem to fully commit to it, reading these updates have been pretty interesting and informative!

Happy to hear that you enjoyed the adventure, and kudos on seeing it all the way through. :D

  16. I'm now 165hrs into The Witcher III (in 16 days) and, after getting 66/79 trophies, the burnout is starting to set in. I'll probably hit 200hrs and 70/79 trophies, but it looks like this one is gonna go unfinished for now.

    1. Cleggworth

      Uh huh...hmmm...yeah... Gwent?

    2. Kpppp-2B9SA2

Haha, I know the feeling. I plat the three stacks of Witcher 3, that why it took me months to 100% each of the stack..

    3. Spaz

It takes a long time to finish, and a good portion of content isn't needed for platinum. You could easily surpass 150 - 200 hours if you decided to do everything, including the DLC particularly Blood and Wine since quite a bit of content was added with it.

I honestly am baffled as to how people got the platinum and 100 percent in under a week. Probably 12 - 15 hours a day speedrunning the game.

But it's definitely one I'll always cherish. Love this game.

  17. I'm now 125hrs into The Witcher III; level 35, fully upgraded Wolf gear, ready for the final boss, mastered Gwent, got both dlc packs waiting in the wings, and now I finally understand...

This game is totally frickin' awesome. Goodbye to the next 125hrs of my life.

  18. Just a heads up to say I may have found something previously unmentioned about this trophy. The trophy requires you to play 3 hero cards in the same round and also win the match. I played 2 consecutive games where I had 3 hero cards, played them in the same round (also both instances were in the 3rd round), and won both matches, yet I didn't get the trophy. Then I noticed that, in both cases, I had a Mysterious Elf spy card, which leads me to believe that only hero cards with a point value, played on your side of the table, count. For those wondering, there was also a case where I had an opponent use a Mysterious Elf card on me, and I used 2 hero cards, won the match, and that didn't work either (which further adds to my above point). Hope this helps. Happy gaming.
  19. Dude, your trophy profile is badass. I saw the games and statistics and thought, "Huh, not friggin' bad at all." Then I looked a bit closer and saw the epic setup for what's to come. :o Nicely done. :D

    1. ihadalifeb4this

Thank you! You're being too kind.

Very good job with trophy hunting on your end. Anyone with 10 000+ trophies deserves a cookie.

  20. PSN level 40. :)

  21. Save file just corrupted in The Witcher III. The fun just keeps on going...

It was a very simple fix, but still very annoying. If you're wondering what to do if/when this happens to you, know that it's the autosave file that corrupts. To remedy, make a new manual save, close the game, go to system settings and delete the corrupted file, then open the game and load the manual save.

One of the reasons why all of these technical issues (audio cutting out, getting a prompt to say corrupted save every 60sec, etc.) are so infuriating is that they happen during plot-heavy, main story missions and cutscenes.

Another is that it's been happening across all platforms, for 5 years, and they still don't fix it. It's like they made a billion dollars, got a tv spinoff, then said "Fuck you. Got mine." and left their unfinished mess for the consumers.

The worst thing is the hype machine. People that called this the GOTY, or best game ever made, are much too forgiving. I expect better from devs. I'd rather play a mediocre game that functions properly, than a massive AAA title that's riddled with bugs.

    3. kingdrake2

i hope you didn't lose much. i had corrupted saves before but thankfully nothing lost more than a few hours of progress.

    4. KingGuy420

As for people calling it game of the year and stuff, like I said before, the vanilla version was pretty flawless. Even with all the dlc it still worked great. Something happened in that complete edition though and their team had already moved on to the next project. People call it GOTY based on the version that came out that year, not the buggy mess that was the complete edition.

Also, they didn't get a tv show spin off. The games are based on a series of books. The author got a tv show spin off. CDProjektRed has nothing to do with that.

  22. Well, I'm now 70hrs into The Witcher III and I can say that it's starting to grow on me. The story is engaging enough to keep me invested, and the RPG elements are pretty good (loot, alchemy, armour, etc), but there is still a huge mountain of technical issues that always seems to give me a wicked karate chop right in the nerves. This game has made a bazillion gagillion dollars, but 5 years later, it's still a hot mess.

    1. KingGuy420

Really? That sucks. I've done like 3 full playthroughs between both versions and can count the bugs I've had on one hand. Are you playing the complete version cause that is undoubtedly the buggier version. I actually had 0 bugs in my 2 vanilla playthroughs. All my bugs came in complete.

It did take a long time for it to grow on me too. The first two thirds of my first playthrough, I hated it. Then it all kinda came together and now it's one of my favorites. Once the story picks up steam it gets pretty great imo.

  23. Well, I'm about 30hrs into The Witcher III and I'm having a hard time seeing as to how this game has so many GOTY awards. Disappointed for sure.

    1. mysticninja074

i was to bro just sad

    2. Avatar_Of_Battle

It's not gonna get much better. Everyone that whined about other open world RPGs don't seem to realize this game has all the same "issues".

  24. The Witcher III Complete Edition for $21. Let's friggin' go! Gonna be my first ever Witcher experience. The hype meter is at full blast.
