  1. Just in case any of the few other people playing this awesome game didn't know- the Radium Ready trophy currently does not trigger even when requirements are met, making this platinum unobtainable until it is patched.
  2. Even if you did some with multiple monsters there are plenty of quests with only small monsters or gathering quests that are required. The easiest solution would be to just hunt a few more to be safe and see if it pops. You need to hunt more anyway for the other trophies so I wouldn't worry about it. If you want to get the accurate count of large monsters you have hunted, check your guild card's records for each monster and add them up. The same screen that lists your crowns has the total number hunted and is what the game is using. If its more than 500 then there might be a bug but it's likely you're only a few off.
  3. The hardest thing about this event is having to wait until September to play anything with monsters in it! On the other hand it has also provided some motivation to go back and explore my ps+ backlog and work on some random games so things aren't too bad 😅
  4. Horizon Chase Turbo was a PS+ title I saw a bunch of people complaining about, but is easily the free game I've enjoyed the most. Not even really into racing games but everything just clicked and eventually I'll get around to the plat. Just super chill with an excellent soundtrack and a good vibe. Falcom games in general- I played Persona 5 and asked on another forum for something else like it and had Tokyo Xanadu Ex recommended. Decided to chance it and wound up really enjoying it more than I expected. Which led to enjoying Ys VIII, and Ys Origin, and Ys Memories of Celceta, and I have the Trails of Cold Steel series ready to go whenever I have the time to dig into a long JRPG. Theres something incredibly earnest about the games they make that I can't really put my finger on but appreciate.
  5. Thanks for the expanded definitions of potential targets. Especially Abomination since I was hoping to go back and finish RE 3 and start RE 7 and was worried once zombies got crossed off what the RE games could offer.
  6. I'm fairly casual but I happen to have a number of probably relevant games lined up that I could conceivably go back and do NG+/Nightmare Modes to finish and help out a team. I was planning on starting up my final Witcher 3 run soon anyway, so waiting until September is fine. I'm new to the community, but if thats not a problem I'd like to join Clan Belmont.
  7. As a follow up, Setsuka just got announced for release August 4th, so I'd venture a guess some people will be getting back on and trying out the new character next week. Would be a good time to try and get the online trophies out of the way, and might even be a bit easier as people will be learning the new character.
  8. Most fighting games only really have active online for a short while after release. I'm currently working on this but haven't gotten around to the online yet and was planning to boost or convince a friend to play with me. They've got announcements scheduled tomorrow I think for Soul Calibur and Tekken so there might be a bit of a bump if a new character is getting released.
  9. I'm excited to hear it did so well. I had zero hype or expectations going in, and was only convinced to give it a shot by some glowing reviews from people I generally trust. Biggest surprise for me in a while, and definitely my personal game of the year so far too. It wasn't terribly innovative but it did everything it set out to do extremely well.
  10. Only been a week but finishing Ghost of Tsushima had me reconsider a few things. It does end up bumping MGS V off the list purely through GoT's strength of execution and beauty, and even if it isn't a terribly innovative title I really enjoyed it. However, the entire time I played I couldn't stop thinking "This is amazing but imagine if the Witcher ran this good, I wish I was playing the Witcher". So I shuffled things around a little bit. 1. The Witcher III (will probably start NG+ pretty soon) 2. Death Stranding 3. Bloodborne 4. Nier Automata 5. Yakuza Kiwami 2 6. Persona 5 (need to do NG+ later in the year) 7. Monster Hunter World 8. Ghost of Tsushima 9. Resident Evil 2 (will do the DLC eventually) 10. Hitman 2 (will 100% once I sign back up for PS+) I kind of lost interest in starting RE7 and might give my copy to a friend instead, and my only other plans for new games are remaster/rereleases (Trails of Cold Steel) so I don't expect this to change again. Hitman 3 can import all of Hitman 1 and 2, and it's a safe bet I'll pick that up but it probably won't change any rankings.
  11. I've been thinking a lot about this with the end of the PS4 era. I've mostly come down to following 10 in loose order. Not counting any remasters (Kiwami 2 and RE 2 being whole remakes). 1. Death Stranding 2. Bloodborne 3. Nier Automata 4. The Witcher III 5. Yakuza Kiwami 2 6. Persona 5 7. Monster Hunter World 8. Resident Evil 2 9. Hitman 2 10. Metal Gear Solid V I've got copies of Ghost of Tsushima and Resident Evil 7 I haven't gotten to yet that might yet bump off Hitman or MGSV. For now my goal is finishing full completion on those ten titles before PS5 launches!
