  1. Has anyone had issues with the pound it trophy? I beat the predator in Sapphire bay and didn't get the trophy. Been making regular backups as I had heard there was issues with trophies popping. I'm going to re-load and do it again to see if it triggers. Edit: It popped on my third time beating the predator. I was making sure to rotate saves before but now I'm gonna be even more vigilant. Feels like this is happening all the time now. Still locked out of the Mafia II platinum!
  2. Hey guys here is a quick video I found showing you the fastest way to get all the trophies. It should take you around 8 minutes.
  3. Sorry no idea why I am just getting the notification about this comment now. I finished the game late last year and I would say in total it is about 8 hours long. I'm pretty sure the collectibles do change from game to game because I watched a few let's plays and they were in different locations to what I had. Also just a heads up to anyone playing: The game is in a much better state than when it first launched, but it is still buggy. My advice would be to back up your save from time to time. I encountered one potential game breaking bug right near the end where the game wouldn't let me walk through an open door, leaving me stuck in an office. Reloading the checkpoint didn't work either. Luckily I had a save from half an hour earlier backed up on a USB stick and resuming from there worked.
  4. As far as I am aware it's just a bit of a pain to platinum. I am about three quarters through my first run at the moment and I'd say the collectibles can be a bit of a pain to find. Plus while I love the game so far, I can imagine during subsequent playthroughs it could get tedious because you can't skip any cutscenes or dialogue. Also the only guide I have found for avoiding any deaths is in Russian so I am using that with Google translate, but it is a little hard to follow at times.
  5. It's a real shame this was delisted. I reviewed the game when it first came to PS4 and really enjoyed it. It is still available on the back end to download if you own it.
  6. Thanks for the response. After posting this I went in to search for a match and found one. Thankfully I won the first game I played, got the trophy and the platinum
  7. Hey everyone. This is the last trophy I need for the platinum but I'm not exactly sure what a 'Play for Cash' match is. I can't seem to find the option. I'm guessing it's an online mode, but I went into the online section and couldn't see it. I'm guessing the online matchmaking isn't exactly jumping either, so if anyone wants to boost it hit me up.
  8. Very early for the trophies to pop up. The 'Bragging Rights' trophy is going to be the deal breaker for most.
  9. Hey everyone. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but I was following IBaddriverI's collectible guide after finishing up the story and after popping "The Door of Old Habits" I noticed the platinum didn't pop. Checked the trophy roadmap over at PlaystationTrophies.org and went back through a mirror a few more times but no "Finding Forever" trophy. I love the game and am happy to play again so I'll report back if it pops on replay. Just something for people to maybe watch out for. I'm using the EU digital version. UPDATE: It popped first time on the second run.
  10. I just got this one and it took ages. I recommend flicking it with your hand instead of throwing it.
  11. I saw a small amount of people have gotten the platinum in this game in under 3 hours. Some even less than an hour. Is there cheats or something that allow you to unlock everything quickly? This game is on sale just now and I would happily buy if I could get through it in a reasonable amount of time. Lego games tend to outstay their welcome for me.
  12. Hey everyone, I got a request on YouTube to upload a video showing all four Las Vegas stages being completed so I thought I would post it here in case it is of any use. The game may seem tough at first but once you get the timing of each obstacle down it shouldn't give you many problems. I recorded this a day after getting the platinum and already my timing was a little off, but I left it all in just to show that you can make mistakes and easily still get the stages done in under 2 minutes. If for any reason you are struggling though you can back up your save before each stage and if you fail just reload. Also if you struggle getting the stages done in under two minutes you get 25000 for completing stage 4, so take that cash and plough it in to upgrades for your character so you come back the next season stronger. Any questions just let me know.
  13. Yeah I take it all back. Once you get to grips with each obstacle it really isn't hard. Even if you don't manage any of the Vegas courses in under 2 minutes the first time you can just pile the money you get for winning a season into your stats and get it the next time. It's hard for me to recommend this game given the price and the lack of any real tutorial, but I did have a lot of funny playing through it and getting the platinum. My advice would be to wait for a price drop. I'll have a full review on my website in the next few days though.
  14. Cheers man. It's funny actually after I posted that last night I played some more and it started to click. It's really not that hard. I think it just took me a while to get the timing down. A guide would be great for others! I found backing up my save after beating Vegas 4 allowed me to use that money to get almost all unlock X of whatever trophies. Only got the Vegas 3 in under two minutes left now for the platinum. Just skipping through a season to max out stamina before trying it again.
  15. We need @TheMathProf on here to give us pointers because I'm on season five with my stats high and still running out of stamina and getting confused by some of the inputs.
