  1. #4 Wizard of Legend Master of Chaos Collect all trophies. Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Time: 15h Good rogue-like with fast paced combo gameplay. The format is pretty simple, you equip a load-out, which is a few spells and a relic, and you try to clear a run consisting of 3 worlds each with a boss, and if you clear those you fight a final boss at the end. It's a little challenging at the start but once you start learning patterns and getting comfortable with spells and combos, runs start getting faster and funner. Trophy-wise, nothing is really difficult, and by the time you end up finishing some of the grindy trophies, you'll either have you're Plat or be pretty close. Game is pretty cheap as well, check it out if you like the rogue-likes.
  2. #3 Blue Reflection Brilliant Etoile Congratulations! You collected all the trophies. Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 18h This is basically Magical Girl the RPG. Gameplay is pretty simple also. You have a story segment, followed by free period segments where you complete side quests until the next story section unlocks. Unfortunately since the game takes place in pretty much one location, and there are only a few different dungeons to go through, i felt that it got really repetitive after the first few chapters. This is also when I felt that the story started getting a bit side tracked, though it pulled itself together near the end and i ended up quite liking the last couple of finishing chapters. The game in generally is quite pretty, the UI is sleak and clean, and the artwork is also well done, but the graphics in certain parts really look dated, particularly the free action options after a school day. The soundtrack is absolutely ballin' though, and probably the best part of the game. The platinum itself isn't hard to get. Nothing is difficulty related and the most annoying part is farming for materials, which if you play on a higher difficulty early on, won't be much.
  3. #2 Undertale Don't You Have Anything Better to Do? Obtain all other Undertale trophies. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 1/10 Time: 2h 19m This game is great. Loved it on the PC and was very happy to play through it again on the PS4. I thought the name of the platinum was great so I tried to plat it as fast as possible for the psnprofiles milestone. Played on true pacifist route, and I think the whole game took maybe 3-4 hours in total for the finish. Awesome soundtrack and Undertale still has one of my favourite ending sequences of any game.
  4. #1 Final Fantasy VII The Never-Ending Path Obtain all trophies. Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 20h Started off the platinum hunts with a nostalgia hit. Always loved FF7 and it's a joy that they've added trophy support. Gameplay still holds up today, though graphics have aged worse than I remembered. For some reason I felt like the game runs a little slow normally, but that might be because I got way too used to 3x speed. Not much to say about the game. It's a classic and highly recommend it for any RPG fans.
  5. Yo. I've finished my first playthrough, I think all I have left are my NG+ difficulty trophies. I quite like it, I've never played the Vita version so I'm not sure how it compares, but I had (and still having) a good time with this. Combat-wise the game is pretty simple to play and not difficult, but I still find it quite fun. Unfortunately I think the dated graphics hinder gameplay, and although the game plays super smooth, it looks and feels a bit janky. Falcom music and sound it always good so there isn't a worry there, though it's not up to Y's level of greatness. There's a ton of fluff and filler, especially when you include the side quests. If you've ever played a Trails, it's similar in the sense that there is so much damn text in the game, and it will add some serious hours to your play-time going through it all. I gotta say that I do enjoy it, and I appreciate all the world building that they're trying to achieve with it, but sometimes it makes the game feel like a chore to get through. With the side stuff out of the way though, I gotta say that I quite enjoyed the story. Yeah it's super-anime, predictable, and the characters get super cheesy and borderline cringe, but I gotta say I got pretty invested in the last couple chapters, and I felt some feelings hey. The game is alright, but I'm a sucker for stuff like this.
