I did Spirit of the North during the spring challenge. I quite enjoyed it, the music was very chilled out, and also I quite liked that's there's no dialogue at all and it's all a bit of a mystery what happened there. I think chapter 4 was a good one for just running around the big open spaces. Although the platforming controls aren't the best I will agree with you on that one.

Also, if you do own a Switch then I would thoroughly recommend Breath of the Wild. The game is fantastic 1f601.png

I've just changed my mind after an hour or so on it this afternoon. I don't think I was using my brain enough when I first sat down with it! It's a much more pleasant experience now! The music's lovely ☺️

I've been looking at the Switch on eBay this morning. If I want to class myself as a Zelda fan, I really should play Breath of the Wild soon 🤦Early Christmas present I think!

  2. I'd like to be in again (my 5th in a row!). Love the challenge and the people involved!

    My list (all PS4):

    1. PGA Tour 2K21 - 50%

    2. Resident Evil 3 - 20%

    3. Death Mark - 2%

    4. Lego Movie 2 - 0%

    5. The Outer Worlds - 0%

    6. The Walking Dead Final Season - 0%

I bought Lego Movie 2, The Outer Worlds and Maid of Skier on a 3 for 2 at Game today. Subnautica was originally in my list but I popped The Outer Worlds in to beef it up a bit, plus I don't play a lot of FPSs and I feel like I'm up for one. One that's not Borderlands 3 because I'm still harbouring a grudge that they f**ked it. Also, it's been about 9 months since my last Lego game so I'm just about ready for another!

I was so close to adding Sakura Wars to my list for this challenge, it does look lovely visually for sure. Do you think the combat is something that will click with you eventually or is it something that is generally just not your cup of tea? :coffee:

It sounds strange to say it considering you're in a robot suit, but it feels a tad clunky. I battle with the camera occasionally to. It's far from bad though. The combat's fairly simple, chaining light attacks and heavy attacks, and the team attacks are just mental and stunning. Here's the thing, you spend a good 2-3 hours each chapter socialising, exploring, playing cards etc (all of which I love) and then have a 20 minute combat segment which I probably just get into when it's finishing. I don't think that helps. But, there's a battle simulator where you can replay levels and do extras for the plat.

In short, it's too good to miss out on buddy. Definitely pop it on a list in the future 👍

  4. I think I'm settled on my list. Happy and excited with it. Sign me up please kind sir!
