  1. Quick update to close out the month. Completed Games this Update: Ghostrunner [PS5] -- 100% (+1pts) Undertale [VITA] -- 100% (+0.5pts) Elden Ring [PS5] -- 100% (+0.5pts) Games Completed in Previous Updates (from backlog list): Resident Evil 2 [PS4] -- 100% The Sims 4 [PS4] -- 100% F1 2021 [PS4] -- 100% Murdered Soul Suspect [PS4] -- 100% Planet Coaster [PS5] -- 100% Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered [PS4] -- 100% Remaining Games on Backlog List:
  2. Update #4: Swaps Used: 0/2 Resident Evil 3 [PS4] -- 12% Mass Effect [PS4] -- 10% Mafia [PS4] -- 20% Murdered: Soul Suspect [PS4] -- 100% Days Gone [PS4] -- 10% Planet Coaster [PS5] -- 100% Horizon Zero Dawn [PS4] -- 100% Gran Turismo 7 [PS5] -- 38% -> 40% Ghostrunner [PS5] -- 14% -> 100% Elden Ring [PS5] -- 31% -> 100% Progress: Finished Ghostrunner as well as its DLC, was overall a pretty solid PS+ title, I enjoyed it well enough although I did find it frustrating at times, but the storyline was pretty cool and kept me interested during those times (even though I guessed the ending pretty early on, I just found the world and story to be cool so stayed interested enough to finish the game). Blasted my way through Elden Ring in just 2 weeks, It would have been just 1 week but I saved the platinum to be my #3500th trophy, and it took me a week to get enough trophies to get there. Everything that could be said about this game probably already has been, but anyway I loved it, and will probably look to go back to some older from soft games that I've left as now Im in the mood for that sort of game. I've also started playing Gran Turismo 7 this week, not a lot of trophies earnt but I'm a couple missions away from finishing the cafe menu's and I purchased one of the cars required for the Three Legendary Cars trophy, hopefully the other two cars that are required will cycle back in to the legend cars dealership. I was leaving this trophy until it was confirmed which cars worked, rather than buying the many cars that were theorized to possibly work through the months. But with the required cars being confirmed the other day I jumped back in to pick up the most recent one and start working on the other trophies again. I'm thinking about using one of my swaps to swap in Ghosts of Tsushima, perhaps for Days Gone or Mafia, as I've finally started playing that recently and would quite like to play it to completion, I also think it could be a little while before I feel like picking up either of those games so seems like it may be a good fit. I'll ponder on this for a little while. Great work on those backlogs everyone, keep it up, and have a great week!
  3. Haven't completed any games from my list yet this month as I've been playing some other stuff, but I thought Id take the time to add some stuff to my list that I'm doing for another backlog event Im in as well as some more games in my backlog I feel like I might go back to soon. New games are at the bottom of the list. Updated Backlog List: Resident Evil 3 [PS4] Mass Effect [PS4] Mafia [PS4] Murdered Soul Suspect [PS4] -- 100% Days Gone [PS4] Planet Coaster [PS5] -- 100% Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered [PS4] -- 100% Resident Evil 2 [PS4] -- 100% The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan [PS4] Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition [PS4] Sifu [PS5] Farming Simulator 17 [PS4] Overcooked [PS4] Overcooked 2 [PS4] The Sims 4 [PS4] -- 100% Batman: Arkham Asylum [PS3] Batman: Arkham City [PS3] Batman: Arkham Knight [PS4] Plants vs. Zombies [VITA] Ratchet & Clank [PS4] F1 2021 [PS4] -- 100% NBA 2K21 [PS4] Far Cry 3 [PS3] Far Cry 4 [PS4] Far Cry 5 [PS4] +Elden Ring [PS5] +Ghostrunner [PS5] +Undertale [VITA] +Ghosts of Tsushima [PS5] +Stardew Valley [PS4] +Hades [PS5] +Bloodborne [PS4] +Dark Souls 3 [PS4] +Assassins Creed Freedom Cry [PS4] +Adventure Capitalist [PS4] +Doom [PS4]
  4. Update #3: Not much progress at all for me since my last update as I've been working on some grindier stuff outside of the challenge as well as being busy with uni, but I do have another game I pulled out of the backlog that I've been addicted to that I'm adding to the list. Swaps Used: 0/2 Resident Evil 3 [PS4] -- 12% Mass Effect [PS4] -- 10% Mafia [PS4] -- 20% Murdered: Soul Suspect [PS4] -- 100% Days Gone [PS4] -- 10% Planet Coaster [PS5] -- 100% Horizon Zero Dawn [PS4] -- 100% Gran Turismo 7 [PS5] -- 38% Ghostrunner [PS5] -- 4% -> 14% + Elden Ring [PS5] -- 0% -> 31% Progress: I've made a small amount of progress on Ghostrunner although no where near as much as I would have liked. Its been enjoyable enough but I guess somethings just not really clicking for me which is why the progress has been so slow. I'll keep slowly working through it and hopefully one day in the next week or two I'll find myself really in the mood for it and smash the rest of it out. I finally got around to trying Elden Ring last week, and absolutely fell in love. I think I've managed to put 40 hrs into my save file in about 6 days. Which is quite a lot especially since I've had to balance uni at the same time lol. I think the games phenominal, my favorite part of the game so far has been fleshing out my build and figuring out exactly which weapons I want and whats my favorite / what works best. Currently running the Rivers of Blood which is a lot of fun. Great game, if anyones been putting off playing it and has the time I definitely reccommend! I woulnd't be surprised If I have this done by the end of the week with how much I've been playing it, can't wait to get back to it to be honest : ) I started this event with 6 games on my list and I've currently got 7 left to complete. Elden Ring will definitely be the last game I add to the list so I can make sure I get to work on some of these games. My goal is to get Elden Ring and Ghostrunner done this week and then I'll probably go back to Resi 3 or perhaps Days Gone. I'll try to play some more GT7 on the side although havent sat down to play it properly for a little while now. Great to read everyone's updates as usual. Keep up the awesome work people!
  5. Haven't updated since the start of the month, but I've been playing lots of games and thought I'd make a post to close out the month. Games Completed This Update: Planet Coaster [PS5] (+0.5pts) Trover Saves The Universe [PS4] (+0.1pts) Horizon Zero Dawn [PS4] (+0.1pts) Severed [VITA] (+0.1pts) Among Us [PS5] (+0.1pts) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered [PS4] (+0.5pts) Made some great progress on my backlog this month both games on my list for the event and other stuff from my backlog. Don't think I'll swap anything out of my list in April but I might add a few things I've been thinking of picking back up. Been great reading everyones updates, keep working on your backlog everyone! Updated Backlog List: Resident Evil 3 [PS4] Mass Effect [PS4] Mafia [PS4] Murdered Soul Suspect [PS4] -- 100% Days Gone [PS4] Planet Coaster [PS5] -- 100% Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered [PS4] -- 100% Resident Evil 2 [PS4] -- 100% The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan [PS4] Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition [PS4] Sifu [PS5] Farming Simulator 17 [PS4] Overcooked [PS4] Overcooked 2 [PS4] The Sims 4 [PS4] -- 100% Batman: Arkham Asylum [PS3] Batman: Arkham City [PS3] Batman: Arkham Knight [PS4] Plants vs. Zombies [VITA] Ratchet & Clank [PS4] F1 2021 [PS4] -- 100% NBA 2K21 [PS4] Far Cry 3 [PS3] Far Cry 4 [PS4] Far Cry 5 [PS4]
  6. Update #2: It's been a little while since I've made an update, but I've made some great progress and thought it's about time I posted one. Swaps Used: 0/2 Resident Evil 3 [PS4] -- 4% -> 12% Mass Effect [PS4] -- 10% Mafia [PS4] -- 20% Murdered: Soul Suspect [PS4] -- 100% Days Gone [PS4] -- 10% Planet Coaster [PS5] -- 54% -> 100% Horizon Zero Dawn [PS4] -- 19% -> 100% Gran Turismo 7 [PS5] -- 31% -> 38% + Ghostrunner [PS5] -- 0% -> 4% Progress: Made some slight progress on Resident Evil 3, started my playthrough and got a few trophies for getting the first collectible of each type, will start playing through this properly soon. Finally finished off Planet Coaster, which ended up taking longer than I thought it would. It's a fun game however the Career mode definitely started to drag on imo which is why it took longer than it should have. Once you understand how to optimally price everything the challenges honestly become very simple and tedious. However its still a fun game at its core to just design a theme park in and I definitely enjoyed the majority of my time with it, just got sick of doing the stars for career mode towards the end. Overall a good ps+ game that I'm happy I played. Got the 100% on Horizon Zero Dawn which after years of being an E rank on my trophy list because I wasn't that interested by it, ended up being a game I really loved my time with. Main game was great, super fun platinum list, I loved that the collectibles were all marked on the map for me so I didn't have to use a guide, wish all games did this in some way. DLC was enjoyable, just a bit more of the same from the main game. New game+ on ultra hard didnt take to long since I was already max level and stuff. Fun trophy list, will probably play forbidden west soon. I've only made a little bit of progress in Gran Turismo 7, I'm sure lots of people may have heard about the issues with the economy namely the recent patch that has made it much more difficuilt to earn credits in game, and the very expensive micro transactions that this patch promotes. For now I'm keeping it in my list for the event as I am still planning to plat the game. I read that next month they planning on increasing the event rewards by 100% or something like that so hopefully that should make it easier to grind money and hopefully by the time I come to it people will have figured out exactly what cars are required for the "Three Legendary Cars" trophy. The gameplay itself is a hell of a lot of fun, so I'm just trying to focus on that side of things and hopefully the upcoming patch will make the economy a lot more reasonable for people not willing to pay for credits. I'd also like to add Ghostrunner to my list, I'm aiming to get the 100% for all of the PS5 PS+ titles for the remainder of the year (provided they're all titles I somewhat enjoy), and now that I've finished Planet Coaster I've started Ghostrunner. Not much progress trophy wise but It's a super fun game and I'm very much enjoying it. Although once I'm done with the titles I'm playing now I definitely need to stop adding to my list and work on the first few titles I selected. It's been really awesome to read everyone else's updates and see the progress everyones been making, good job everyone!
  7. The always on requirement is so frustrating, my internet has been cutting out for 1-2 minutes abruptly the last few weeks and on multiple occasions when I have finished one of the gold licence tests and backed out my internet has been down and when I load back up the licence test didnt count. Very frustrating, when there's simply no need for the licence tests to require an internet connection. Additionally the amount of time/money required to get the credits for the Three Legendary Cars trophy is quite insane, not to mention its still not clear which of the insanely pricey vehicles are required for this trophy despite multiple people attempting to contact support/devs (unless its been confirmed by now I havent checked the forum post about this trophy in a few days). Bit annoying cause the driving is a lot of fun, just stupid stuff holding the game/trophy list back. I'm going to keep it on my list for now but we'll see if I end up bailing on it for something else if the grind for credits becomes too much.
  8. Update #1: Swaps Used: 0/2 Resident Evil 3 [PS4] -- 4% Mass Effect [PS4] -- 10% Mafia [PS4] -- 20% Murdered: Soul Suspect [PS4] -- 3% -> 100% Days Gone [PS4] -- 10% Planet Coaster [PS5] -- 29% -> 54% + Horizon Zero Dawn [PS4] -> 19% (Dont remember what it was at when I started playing it this morning, probably about 12%) + Gran Turismo 7 [PS5] 0% -> 31% Progress: Finally got around to playing and finishing Murdered: Soul Suspect on Monday, at first I found it a bit slow paced for me, and you have to follow a pretty lengthy collectibles guide for all 242 collectibles required for the platinum which could be a slog depending on how you look at it. However as the game went on I found myself really enjoying the story and excited to keep playing towards the end of the game. The combat/stealth are very simple and easy to get through, and the investigations you do are similarly quite simple. But I found it relaxing to not have to concentrate too much and just go around picking up collectibles while enjoying a pretty good story, and its not too long for the plat. I'd reccommend it if thats the kind of gameplay experience you're looking for. Made some progress towards finishing Planet Coaster, but not as much as I would have liked to. I'm trying to platinum each ps+ game for PS5 that comes out now that I have my console, starting with Planet Coaster. I've enjoyed the game for the most part but I have to say its getting a bit grindy towards the end of the career missions. When you use optimized pricing for the game, (which can be found with a quick google search) the majority of the challenges in the game become quite trivial, and at this point its becoming about just min maxing everything to get through it as quick as possible for me, which isnt the best, but I feel like I've had enough fun and spent enough time with the game already so I'll probably just continue along with this path and try and get it finished up this week. I'm adding Horizon Zero Dawn to my list, It's been in my backlog for years now, I've tried playing it multiple times and just never really managed to find myself that interested in playing further in the game, until today. While trying to figure out what to play this morning I saw that I had horizon installed on my ps5, and decided to give it another shot, and found myself completely incapsulated with the story and now I'm a couple missions away from beating the game and thoroughly enjoying it. I can't quite say why I never connected with it before, I never had any real probelms with the game, it was just a feeling that I had before, and now a bit of a mood shift I guess. Regardless, I'll definitely be going for the 100% on this one, probably will get it done quite soon. so I thought I'd add it to the list. I'm also adding Gran Turismo 7 to the list, as I've been playing it so much that It'd be silly not to. What a phenomenal game. GT7 is the first Gran Turismo game that I've played, but I'd heard good things and I was excited to be able to play it on my new PS5, and decided to pick up a Thrustmaster T300 RS GT on release day to go with it. I can't stress how much I've loved the whole experience of both the game and the new wheel, hard to say what I love more, the game or the wheel, all I know is that playing GT7 on a wheel is some of the most fun I've had gaming in a long time. I've done all gold on the first two licences at this point, and played through about 75% of the menu books. I also managed to get the "Going the Distance Together: The Autobahn" trophy done in a boosting session this morning which is great. I've loved every second with GT7 so far, and I'm excited as I head towards the platinum. As for my other games, not much to say, other than I finished off Resi 2 (which was at too high of a completion % to put in this challenge). But now that It's done I'll probably get stuck into Resi 3 soon. I also downloaded Days Gone this afternoon intending to play it but got caught up in Horizon instead so possibly will start up Days Gone again once I'm finished with Horizon, we'll see.
  9. Smashed out The Sims 4 to start off March, and I'm not too far away from finishing F1 2021 and Murdered Soul Suspect! Great start to the month backlog wise for myself. EDIT: Just finished F1 2021 this afternoon, super happy to have gotten it all finished up before GT7 comes out EDIT #2: Finshed Murdered Soul Suspect as well, will just keep editing this post until the end of the month/next leaderboard update as to not clog the page every time I finish a game. Updated List: Resident Evil 3 [PS4] Mass Effect [PS4] Mafia [PS4] Murdered Soul Suspect [PS4] -- 100% Days Gone [PS4] Planet Coaster [PS5] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered [PS4] Resident Evil 2 [PS4] -- 100% The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan [PS4] Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition [PS4] Sifu [PS5] Farming Simulator 17 [PS4] Overcooked [PS4] Overcooked 2 [PS4] The Sims 4 [PS4] -- 100% Batman: Arkham Asylum [PS3] Batman: Arkham City [PS3] Batman: Arkham Knight [PS4] Plants vs. Zombies [VITA] Ratchet & Clank [PS4] F1 2021 [PS4] -- 100% NBA 2K21 [PS4] Far Cry 3 [PS3] Far Cry 4 [PS4] Far Cry 5 [PS4]
  10. Thanks man, Hell of a Sheriff was definitely tough but It was a super fun list for me overall. I'm excited to get stuck into re3 soon.
  11. Finished the 100% for Resi 2, thats 1 game down for me in Feb. Updated List: Resident Evil 3 [PS4] Mass Effect [PS4] Mafia [PS4] Murdered Soul Suspect [PS4] Days Gone [PS4] Planet Coaster [PS5] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered [PS4] Resident Evil 2 [PS4] -- 100% The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan [PS4] Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition [PS4] Sifu [PS5] Farming Simulator 17 [PS4] Overcooked [PS4] Overcooked 2 [PS4] The Sims 4 [PS4] Batman: Arkham Asylum [PS3] Batman: Arkham City [PS3] Batman: Arkham Knight [PS4] Plants vs. Zombies [VITA] Ratchet & Clank [PS4] F1 2021 [PS4] NBA 2K21 [PS4] Far Cry 3 [PS3] Far Cry 4 [PS4] Far Cry 5 [PS4]
  12. #43: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles [PS5] "Trophy Collector" This is my first time posting on this thread but reading other peoples posts about their platinum's and their experience was fun and interesting and made me want to post about my last one as well. Demon slayer is a super fun fighting game with a shorter platinum and a not too challenging trophy list depending on your skill level. You need to S rank every fight and a couple of the later missions might give you trouble but you once you learn attack patterns and when you can get in for your combos you'll be fine. The fighting is enjoyable enough for the length of the platinum, its sort of about mixing dodging with finding time for a big button mash combo. It only got a little stale towards the end once I'd done everything except for the training missions which is a bit of a grind at the end, you'll spend a couple hours at the end of your platinum just spamming combos in pretty easy fights until you've beaten 10 rank 10 training missions. Overall super fun game and great for any demon slayer fans looking for a fun way to recap the first season and the movie.
