  1. Will we have to wait until a day or 2 before it's out to find out what's happened re the track lists? It's the only thing that moves the needle between not interested and very interested for me and right now I'm not feeling hopeful.
  2. All of the god of war games are pretty straightforward ranging from 10 to about 20 hours each - I think there are 6 of them on there in total including the 2018 one. I really enjoyed super exploding zoo which was straightforward and under 10 hours, and the town of light which is a bit harrowing but it is a straightforward walking simulator set in a psychiatric hospital in around the 1930s, (more emotional than scary). Also undertale is a fast platinum on there, but I think it's a little bit marmitey as a game it's a very stylised rpg, might be worth looking up if you haven't seen it already.
  3. I hope you don't mind if I follow your topic as I'm also planning to start this soon.
  4. Aven Colony, it's still sitting in my backlog but I once saw a PlayStation access stream for it and it looked great.
  5. Syberia 2, I've heard it's not even gettable on an eu copy so as one I'll never get I particularly want it!
  6. Wow, most of them to be honest but I'll go for Disco Elysium as that's the one currently intriguing me the most!
  7. Happy birthday, another enjoyable post, this one I will keep an eye out for as games that manage to be funny are too few and far between! I'm glad work stress has died down for you as we NEED more reviews... please.
  8. Erica, I can't remember which paths I have taken and I found the game confusing (although intriguing) so I don't think I will successfully return. Well played!
  9. I've not been able to finish a job at two of the job boards, both involving cultivation, the game crashed a few seconds into starting on the field. It eventually popped on a new career after doing a job for every person in that one, frustrating as you have to do the tutorials again and I still had some crashes but at least it's now gettable again!
  10. I'll be honest, I'd assumed they'd gone off the idea again, thanks for the update @GUDGER666 I wouldn't have come across this again otherwise I think
  11. Bubble Bobble, I didn't know you could get that on psn so great to know, also wow that is a lot of games!
  12. Book of unwritten tales 2 is a bit frustrating without frequently checking a guide but isn't too long, pillars of eternity is a bit similar in that regard. I think greedfall is the closest to what you are after on the list you have added, I haven't played through it yet but I've been eyeing it up. For what it's worth I really enjoyed cat quest but it's not so close to your criteria it's more snes era Zelda in gameplay terms I think I recall.
  13. I wholeheartedly agree with your points of view on both of these games, I do get that they are well made and the music is good at times and even occasionally better than good, but I just couldn't identify with the characters almost all of the time which made the stories drag. Captain spirit seemed a little bit better, but possibly because it was over so much faster... I've been tempted to try life is strange 2 because it's different characters, but I think that might just make me a glutton for punishment.
  14. When you knocked out the 3 gta games I got worried I couldn't name 5 games as my memory is horrendous, but some beauties suddenly dropped into my brain: Raging Blades Conflict desert storm Champions of Norath Timesplitters 2 Shrek super party Thank you for posting this, reminded me of some brilliant games and gaming times... it also reminded me that I didn't play a huge amount of the ps2 offering looking at others lists.
  15. I enjoyed reading about this journey, as realm722 said above the lists are really impressive. Nice to see a number of games I've never heard of elsewhere, plenty to look into. I've played 2 or 3 of the other Sherlock Holmes games and I'm pleased to report they all holdup quality wise, devil's daughter is certainly the best looking but the others aren't to shabby and the stories and investigations flow really well. Anyway don't want to clutter your posts with my claptrap too much, thank you for taking the time on this thread it's a good read.
  16. Journey, congrats in particular on the sitting with someone trophy, I came across someone sitting in the early days of the game and couldn't work out how to sit also, didn't get another opportunity sadly!
  17. I'm expecting either every X box title ever to be on plus this month, or the end of monthly games and our funds instead going towards keeping PlayStation download speeds as pedestrian as they were 5 years ago and are still now.
  18. I completely agree with Gravel, it's more of an arcade rally game so not very serious there are a good range of difficulty settings so races can be as easy or as challenging as you like. Easier settings don't stop you getting trophies and it's not overly long so your platinum quest won't keep you past the point of boredom - I think it might even be on heavy discount on psn right now. Burnout paradise is also a great choice as above.
  19. Good spot, let's hope it doesn't break something else I guess but it would be nice to get this one finished!
  20. I think the XP and coins for placing well or winning is frustrating as there's just so little variation but the caps on coins for kills just doesn't make much sense to me. I've enjoyed the game but that has started to wane and I am a long way off from level 50 let alone all the items, so much so that I think I may leave it now.
  21. Dead space 2
  22. Yakuza Kiwami 2 A continuation of a story I have really invested in and a madcap series that provides a lot of laughs alongside a relatively serious story. Yakuza Kiwami Same as above but 2 wins for now as the requirements for mini games are a bit less arduous... I reserve the right to continually change my mind about that as more mini games means more Yakuza time! Assassin's Creed Origins I might be one of very few but I wasn't particularly fed up of the old format, but I thoroughly enjoyed this entry, Egypt looked incredible and I am still shocked that this game was on a ps4 and I hadn't time travelled a few months and was seeing it on ps5. I mostly enjoyed the story too but for me it was mostly about the setting and the world. Broken Age Beautiful game and not as impenetrable as some of the point and clicks in the genre, it was easy enough to work out what to do and keep in step with the narrative, thoroughly enjoyed. Mad Max I joined the late rush on this one and was pleasantly surprised with how much fun it was, I'd have preferred a stronger balance to the car action versus on foot but overall a really solid game and I'm glad I finally got to it. Wasteland 2 Great to play something so close to the first 2 fallouts, full of meaningful decisions and choices, a shame I kept missing trophies and having to go back for them and late game there were a lot of crashes, but I'm really pleased I finished it. Dirt Rally 2.0 I really couldn't get the hang of this one and couldn't even finish night or wet races, ended up playing a lot of the circuit mode races in multiplayer and eventually coming back to single player and just about doing enough to get the platinum, a great looking game and relatively easy to plat (judging from the fact I was able to do it) but quite hard to get into to begin with. Star Wars BF2 Another one started just for multiplayer but ended up really enjoying so went for the platinum, it slightly wore towards the end of levelling up but overall a good game. Seasons After Fall I actually got lost on this one for quite a while but it's a very good platformer with some unique elements, thoroughly enjoyed. Crossing Souls A fun game with some great 80's kid references, really appropriate art style too. Soul Calibur 2 A comment on this site made me to back to this one as I'd previously given up on the campaign, they were right it wasn't as hard as I remembered and it just took some luck on some levels, the game wasn't as brilliant as I recalled from the very first time round but still a solid fighting game. 11-11 Memories Re-told A good game doing justice to the subject, some of the trophies needed a bit of keeping track of but we'll worth a play. Batman Enemy Within A little bit janky in places but a reasonable story. Prince of Persia Sands of Time Not a bad game but frustrating at times, worrying that many people say this is the better one of the trilogy though - it has put me off starting the others. Pillars of the Earth Maybe a slightly strange book to make a game of, but it's enjoyable and Look a great. Slightly laborious on the odd occasion but worth a run through. Old Man's Journey Simplistic but enjoyable and a unique style. Sonic Forces An ok game but one I never fully got to grips with, more of the old school sonic elements that I prefer without the newer elements making things too chaotic. Goat Simulator I quite liked it and it didn't over stay it's welcome so I figured it deserved a place on the list over some other candidates. Certainly not going for the dlc though!
  23. Mugen souls , seems a really tricky one
  24. If you don't mind getting the platinum but not the 100% I'd say go with driveclub as a few people above suggested, gorgeous game and realistic to a point without getting over technical and fiddly. You can't get the 100% as the dlcs were delisted but the platinum is pretty easy and good fun.
  25. Secret of Mana, and ps you can do the witcher 3 - just commit to 3 sessions in a week and it will suddenly just click and you and Geralt shall become 1!
