  1. Update #4: It’s been more than a month since my last update (I keep thinking, “I’ll update when I’ve made a bit more progress in one more game”, repeatedly, ad infinitum). Within that time I’ve completed four games from my backlog: Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition. Thankfully, I enjoyed my time with each game, albeit Origins became a grind near the end. I’ve also completed the majority of Dragon Age II, only needing a second, Templar playthrough to 100% it. I’ve decided to use my first swap on Darksiders, replacing it with Celeste; I thought it best to finally use my PSNow subscription on a game I’ve been eying for months. And with the free PS5 upgrade, I’d love to swap out Nexoman: Extinction for Skyrim. Spending the winter meandering through Skyrim seems like one of my better ideas. Red = Haven’t started Green = Some progress Blue = Completed 100% Assassins Creed Origins Astro's Playroom [SWAP] Celeste Dragon Age II - 20% ➡️ 91% Fallout New Vegas Far Cry 3: Classic Edition Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon God of War inFamous - 24% Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4) Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart [SWAP] Skyrim (PS5) - 11% Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition The Sims 3 Undertale Swaps (2/5)
  2. October was a productive month for me, completion-wise. I completed a few new games from the Fall/ Winter backlog challenge and went back to several others that needed a quick clean-up. Although it doesn’t increase my percentage by much, there’s nothing quite like spending two days earning the last trophy in a game I haven’t touched in years. (I needed to kill a Legendary dragon in Skyrim and had to grind out the last 5 or so levels to make a high-level dragon appear. Thank the forums for some great grinding tips!) With just two months left in the challenge, I think I’ll aim to end the year at an even 60% completion. Thanks for the update as always @Squirlruler!
  3. I was trying to complete this before Nov. 1, but I needed a couple DLC trophies still. Glad to have the plat/ 100% now though. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition • NA All 60 Trophies 1st November 2021 • Completed in 5 years, 1 week
  4. Final Update It’s been a great year for PS3 backlog games. This event motivated me to revisit a handful of my favorite games ever. And even though I didn’t make as much overall progress as I initially wanted, I completed 11 games total and made progress in 3 others. I definitely plan to continue working on my PS3 backlog, and have a few games planned for upcoming milestones. Thanks for hosting @SpaceCoresDad ; it’s been fun!
  5. Another orange down
  6. Another three down. World Freedom Day (Nov. 9) - Assassin’s Creed Origins World Freedom Day is a U.S. holiday created by President George W. Bush to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall. AC Origins fits with the holiday’s overall theme with its heavy emphasis on the liberation of “the people” from the ever-present, conspiratorial Order of the Ancients. Dress Up Your Pet Day (Jan. 14) - Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning What better way to observe Dress Up Your Pet Day than with a quick (but not too quick) Ratalaika game starring a politically-incorrect rabbit and drug-dealing dog? National Science Fiction Day (Holiday celebrated in my country) - Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart celebrates National Science Fiction Day with its inclusion of parallel dimensions, intergalactic space travel, and worlds inhabited by E.T.s and cognizant robots.
  7. Wanted to submit this for Orange before the plat rarity is >80%. (Sorry for double posting!)
  8. Finally on the board with a Pink
  9. Assassin's Creed Origins All 68 Trophies 18th October 2021 • Completed in 3 years, 3 months The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim All 76 Trophies 23rd October 2021 • Completed in 4 years, 11 months
  10. I'm actively working on a couple of games with DLC, so I'd love to join. Thanks for hosting!
  11. Cook Something Bold And Pungent Day (Nov. 8) - Overcooked! All You Can Eat Pretty self-explanatory with this one. Overcooked! All You Can Eat has players teaming up to cook, bake, and combine a bunch of recipes, some of which can be considered bold or pungent to the less adventurous eaters out there. National Fossil Day (Oct. 13) - Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon National Fossil Day is a federally (US) recognized holiday celebrating all things fossils. Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon has quite a few fossils to be found, especially when on the hunt for collectibles. They’re mostly in subterranean caves scattered across the map.
  12. Thanks for the vote of confidence @ladynadiad! It's a bit easier to meet my goals while my overall completion is still this low. But I definitely think the temptation to play new releases (especially Back 4 Blood) make this challenging. Congrats on all your personal progress though! I admire all the work you've put into keeping your completion percentage high, and your harrowing experience with Shiness.
  13. International Day For The Abolition Of Slavery (Dec. 2) - Far Cry 3: Classic Edition The International Day for the Abolition of Slavery is an annual holiday recognized by the United Nations in 1986, and celebrated every December 2nd. Observers use this day to commemorate the global struggle against slavery and its abolition. Far Cry 3: Classic Edition can be tied to this holiday due to its villains’ direct connection to human trafficking and slavery. There are quite a few moments where the protagonist - Jason Brody - literally saves prisoners sold as slaves. One of the main villains even boasts about his global enterprise of human and drug trafficking that is subsequently thwarted by a vengeful Brody. I think liberating 34 outposts littered with slavers and taking down an evil oppressor of innocent islanders is a fantastic way to observe this holiday. As for the other dates, I haven’t concretely decided what I’ll be playing for each and will submit them as I go.
  14. Thanks for end of month update @Squirlruler! Glad to report I managed to reach my 2021 goal this month! I played through a bunch of games this month, mostly due to National Trophy Hunting Day. It was my first time participating, and I wanted to earn 100+ trophies. I also 100% a few other games from my backlog, including Astro’s Playroom, Far Cry 3: Classic Edition, and Fallout: New Vegas. I’m slowly working through Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends DLC and close to completing Overcooked! All You Can Eat. With three months left in 2021, I’m hoping to end with a clean 10% completion increase overall (57.41%). As long as I continue to work on my backlog, this new goal should be doable.
  15. Update #3: In the couple of weeks since my last update, I’ve completed Astro’s Playroom and Far Cry 3: Classic Edition. I’m sure most know how brilliant both are respectively, and I’d prefer not to go on about them ad nauseum. I will say, as someone who doesn’t use the DuelSense’s adaptive triggers due to sensitivity reasons, Astro’s Playroom is worth experiencing as intended. Next up: Blood Dragon (another classic I’ve somehow skipped). Red = Haven’t started Green = Some progress Blue = Completed 100% Assassins Creed Origins - 31% Astro's Playroom Dragon Age II - 20% Darksiders Warmastered Edition - 7% Fallout New Vegas Far Cry 3: Classic Edition Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon God of War inFamous - 24% Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4) Nexomon: Extinction Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - 33% The Sims 3 Undertale Swaps (0/5)
  16. Far Cry 3: Classic Edition All 44 Trophies 29th September 2021 • Platinum in 3 years, 4 months
  17. Count me in! I'm at a loss at what to do for quite a few of these dates, but at least I get a free space for November 31.
  18. Total Trophies Hunted: 140 Far Cry 3 Classic Edition - 1 Overcooked All You Can Eat - 15 My Name Is Mayo - 51 My Name Is Mayo 2 - 51 Astro's Playroom - 22 Finished the event with more than I thought I would, and look forward to beating this score next year. Thanks for hosting @Beyondthegrave07!
  19. Total Trophies (so far): 110 Far Cry 3 Classic Edition - 1 Overcooked All You Can Eat - 7 My Name Is Mayo - 51 My Name Is Mayo 2 - 51 Hopefully I have some time to knock out a few more Overcooked trophies before the event ends. If I'm done with errands early today, I'll be working through Astro's Playroom too. Happy National Trophy Hunting Day!
  20. Update #2: The last two DLCs for New Vegas are done. My courier - named Frederick because I lack imagination and love the name - traversed Zion, killing horrendously mutated wildlife and White Legs alike, and then navigated the Lonesome Road while pondering on his nation-building - and consequently, destroying - actions throughout the main game. At times, I felt under-leveled, albeit Frederick was a beast at lvl 48 near the end. The DLCs’ new weapons and outfits unlocked after completing each felt like worthy additions to Frederick’s arsenal. As someone who never played the DLC when they originally released, I loved the way the characters and settings added additional character-building for my courier and his legacy in the Mojave. It's said war - war never changes. Men do, through the roads they walk. And this road - has reached its end. Red = Haven’t started Green = Some progress Blue = Completed 100% Assassins Creed Origins - 31% Astro's Playroom Dragon Age II - 20% Darksiders Warmastered Edition - 7% Fallout New Vegas Far Cry 3: Classic Edition - 37% Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon God of War inFamous - 24% Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4) Nexomon: Extinction Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - 33% The Sims 3 Undertale Swaps (0/5)
  21. Update #7 With only a month and a half left until the event is over, I’m happy to report I’ve completed two more games, and made progress in a couple others. I finished Rain and Fallout: New Vegas, spending more than 77 hours in the latter. I didn’t 100% the game as efficiently as possible, but spent a considerable amount of time meandering through the mojave and exploring the DLC, three of which were new to me. Despite the countless crashes and frame drops, the game still stands as one of the best in my opinion. I also picked up Sonic Generations again, but playing it on PSNow makes it more difficult than it needs to be, so I’ll probably skip it altogether. Instead, I’ll use the remaining time to either work on Dragon Age II or inFamous.
  22. Update #1: I’m quite happy with what I’ve accomplished in the first week of this year’s Fall/ Winter Backlog Challenge. I earned the few trophies left needed for Fallout: New Vegas’s plat, my 75th overall. While the game isn’t difficult per se, the challenge comes from how often my game needs to be restarted due to unexpected crashes. There were times the game would crash without warning, and other times it’d reach <10 frames per second before freezing up. I could go all session without a single freeze, and other days, I needed to restart my PS3 multiple times to complete a single quest. I played through the Dead Money and Old War Blues DLC, the latter being for the first time, and completed enough challenges to 100% the Gun Runners’ Arsenal DLC, thankfully. I’ve just started Honest Hearts, a story-based DLC set in Zion National Park, a place I know and love to hike IRL. I’m excited to continue my Fallout journey, hoping to finish both of the remaining DLC’s before my next update. Red = Haven’t started Green = Some progress Blue = Completed 100% Assassins Creed Origins - 31% Astro's Playroom Dragon Age II - 20% Darksiders Warmastered Edition - 7% Fallout New Vegas - 44% ➡️ 81% Far Cry 3: Classic Edition - 37% Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon God of War inFamous - 24% Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4) Nexoman: Extinction Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - 33% The Sims 3 Undertale Swaps (0/5)
  23. Dang, that's one beautiful badge @Spacey Dweeb! Super excited to display it on my profile (my first event badge!) And I agree with what others have stated: GBN is a classic I'll be eagerly waiting for every year. Thanks for hosting, @eigen-space!
  24. I didn’t make as much percentage progress as I initially wanted in August. I started the month strong, finishing up Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and PvZ: Battle for Neighborville. The latter had been looming over my list for nearly two years. I also attempted to work on Sonic Generations, a game my partner started on PSNow years before my trophy hunting began. I swiftly gave up on it; Sonic just isn’t my jam, especially with how janky it is while streaming. What really tanked my progress - albeit I’m still positive this month - was starting two trophy list behemoths: Fallout: New Vegas and Ghost of Tsushima. I plan to continue both of those games this month, and hopefully reach my completion goal before the end of September. As always, thanks for the data and update every month @Squirlruler!
  25. Final update before the event officially begins. This may be overly ambitious for me, but with six months and a good list of games, I want to take them all on! I may even add some more during the holiday sales 😁 Red = Haven’t started Green = Some progress Blue = Completed 100% Assassins Creed Origins - 31% Astro's Playroom Dragon Age II - 20% Darksiders Warmastered Edition - 7% Fallout New Vegas - 44% Far Cry 3: Classic Edition - 37% Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon God of War inFamous - 24% Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4) Nexoman: Extinction Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - 33% The Sims 3 Undertale Swaps (0/5)
