  1. Update #2(?): I finally completed Dishonored Definitive Edition (minus DLC). I had technically beat it with a high chaos ending on September 1st, but I wanted to complete a 100% stealth playthrough. Wow, what a difference that made! My highest praise for Dishonored is being able to play the game any way you want; kill or spare main characters, go for all the collectibles or don’t. They definitely reward you for taking extra risks, but I found even doing the minimum in my low chaos playthrough super fun. I mostly only end up platting games I thoroughly enjoy, and Dishonored is officially plat #35. Level One Final Fantasy VII Remake ✅ Level Two Dishonored Definitive Edition ✅ Uncharted 2 Remastered Level Three Darksiders Warmastered Greedfall Resident Evil Level Four Firewatch Red Dead Redemption Prey Hitman 2 Level Five Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Wolfenstein II Arkham City Metro Exodus Doom (2016) How are you enjoying Danganronpa @Mr-ttaM ? 😁 I can’t wait to play Ghost of Tsushima; I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. Do you think it’s a real contender for GotY @MikkelEhlers ?
  2. The second week is officially in the books, and the updates continue to inspire. We’ve got this, challengers! Update #2: I started the week off strong, completing my favorite Telltale game The Wolf Among Us. It was just as gritty, stylistic, and easy to plat as I remember. Even though I faintly remember the storyline from my initial playthrough years ago, I still enjoyed the occasional twists and misdirects. The rest of the week I spent on a couple of the more grindy games on my list, earning a few trophies in Borderlands 3 and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. Two of my games received DLC (hence the completion percentage decrease for The Outer Worlds); I plan to still 100% both, even if I don’t necessarily need to for this challenge. Red = Haven’t started Green = Some progress Blue = Completed 100% 1. Until Dawn 2. God of War 3. Firewatch 4. Borderlands 3 - 21% ➡️ 22% 5. Spyro the Dragon 6. The Outer Worlds - 6% ➡️ 5% 7. The Wolf Among Us (PS3) 8. Detroit Become Human 9. The Deadly Tower of Monsters 10. Grim Fandango Remastered - 3% 11. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes - 7% ➡️ 21% 12. Final Fantasy VII - 2% Swaps (0/5)
  3. Happy first week, challengers! I’ve really enjoyed reading all of your updates and watching the slow progress to 100%. It’s been motivating. 😁 Update #1: I spent the past week slogging through Borderlands 3 with minimal trophy progress. The game isn’t bad, but the story is lackluster thus far. Thankfully, the open world and ever-present search for the next golden gun is keeping me engaged. Plus, there are few things as satisfying as watching heads ‘splode testing out a new sniper. Red = Haven’t started Green = Some progress Blue = Completed 100% 1. Until Dawn 2. God of War 3. Firewatch 4. Borderlands 3 - 14% -> 21% 5. Spyro the Dragon 6. The Outer Worlds - 6% 7. The Wolf Among Us (PS3) 8. Detroit Become Human 9. The Deadly Tower of Monsters 10. Grim Fandango Remastered - 3% 11. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes - 7% 12. Final Fantasy VII - 2% Swaps (0/5)
  4. Congrats on the progress @Mr-ttaM. What game are you tackling next?? (I'm rooting for Ni No Kuni)
  5. This is the first 100% backlog challenge I’m attempting, so I’m keeping my list short and relatively light, with room to add games releasing during the holidays. All games are for the PS4 unless otherwise stated. Happy hunting, challengers! Red = Haven’t started Green = Some progress Blue = Completed 100% 1. Until Dawn 2. God of War 3. Firewatch 4. Borderlands 3 - 14% 5.
  6. Major Update: After a mini socially-distanced vacation, I finally finished Final Fantasy VII Remake and thus, completed my first tier! As someone who doesn't play JRPGs, I really enjoyed this experience overall. The characters became a bit more dynamic, the graphics were constantly stellar, and the OST is one of my favorite ever (the last chapter especially). I'm gonna go back through and obtain some of the easier missable trophies, but I doubt I'll 100% this anytime soon. I think the plat requires mastering the combat, and I'm nowhere close to that. Next stop: Tier 2! Tier 1 Final Fantasy VII Remake Tier 2 Dishonored Definitive Edition Uncharted 2 Remastered Tier 3 Darksiders Warmastered Greedfall Resident Evil Tier 4 Firewatch Red Dead Redemption Prey Hitman 2 Tier 5 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Wolfenstein II Arkham City Metro Exodus Doom (2016) Definitely think I missed out on a lot of nods to the original, but that makes me want to play it even more. The original may have to be on my next pyramid (if I get there, I have so many meaty, time-consuming games ahead). And congrats on achieving top 10,000 in your country!
  7. Thanks! I've heard great things about both games, and that Greedfall is comparable to a Bioware RPG, so I'm pretty stoked to get to that tier. @FFATMA Congrats on completing P5 Royal! Have you figured out which game to complete next? Ni No Kuni is one of my absolute favorites, but it's one of the first JRPGs I've ever played, so I may be a bit biased. Quick Update: I'm still playing my first game (FFVII Remake). There are parts that are endearing, and the combat can be difficult to master (I still haven't), but overall I'm having fun. I definitely think the remake is probably better to people who loved the original. I've never played a Final Fantasy until XV, and even then I didn't finish it. Also, I'm finding the characters a bit too static/ archetypal for my liking, but I've been assured they flesh out the more I play. Currently on Chapter 9.
  8. Thank you both for the tips! It makes this list a bit more fun, trying to diversify the tiers with games I really want to play/ different genres. (I play mostly the same genres over and over though 😁) I really appreciate the kind words and affirmations about trophy hunting, @Sword. Just the boost of confidence to finally commit to this challenge. Sorry to hear about Mafia burnout, @hittheroadbucky. That's one of the games I was thinking about including on this list, specifically Mafia III 😂 Sooo, with much consideration, and quite a few changes over the past couple of days, here's my Casual Backlog Challenge pyramid: Tier 1 Final Fantasy VII Remake Tier 2 Dishonored Definitive Edition Uncharted 2 Remastered Tier 3 Darksiders Warmastered Greedfall Resident Evil Tier 4 Firewatch Red Dead Redemption Prey Hitman 2 Tier 5 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Wolfenstein II Arkham City Metro Exodus Doom (2016) Most of these games I've heard great things about, but I've been dissuaded to attempt in fear of a low completion percentage. I can't wait to see what I've been missing about these classics.
  9. I love the idea of this casual backlog event! I'm relatively new to pretty much everything (trophy hunting, online forums), and this is the first community event that doesn't seem daunting for a filthy casual like me. I doubt I'll be high on the leaderboards any time soon, but I'd love to give this a shot. Any excuse to start games I wouldn't otherwise complete. Does anyone have any tips on choosing their games for this (I have so many "classics" to sift through)?
  10. I don't typically go for most MP trophies - keeping me from some amazing plats, curse them! - but I'll probably play Fall Guys enough to earn most of them. GL to all those on the hunt for Infallible!
